We were on a weekend in Blankenburg. The hotel is very good. Breakfast is adequate. Rooms are large and clean, everything was still very new. Bathrooms are large and nice. Had the luck, a room at the back of the hotel to have, with a view of the castle. The only thing, which bothered us, was a bit ragged the waiters at dinner. a super four stars hotel, but unfortunately I missed the sauna and the pool, I have asked all the time where the four stars in this hotel again,?! No Arnung, so it was just great everything, the Internet on that the rooms is possible but no Wi-Fi in because the room is so stupid is smart and a LAN cable with you should you forget it there also free of charge there at the front desk, we were ten people and a dog, evening to play cards but it wasn't't really the bar was missing in this hotel and also a decent seating possibility for ten people... The first surprise was, that the 'castle' is actually didn't, but a very 'stylish' -and extensive former barracks, which however were already at the driving directions on the same as an impressive building proves! As a bit of a shame I found that we the restaurant due to the short opening hours not able to test - the kitchen Castle 9 :30pm, as we were still in Rübeland ( theater in the cave, highly recommended since the atmosphere, just great) The breakfast is included in the price, you can it to 9.
