The Sheraton old San Juan is located in the harbor, right in old San Juan. The old Town sights and restaurants with (tip: breakfast buffet in the café Berlin) can easily be explored on foot, to the airport it was about 25 minute drive, to the cruise pier ten minutes. In the hotel itself there is a casino, as well as two restaurants (we didn't used). The room itself was clean and large, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Read more

If you stay here expect a five stars hotel, will be disappointed. Nevertheless, it is a hotel, which one can in good conscience recommend. The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the middle of old San Juan. The old town is from here easy to explore on foot. Shops, restaurants and bars are located in the immediate vicinity more. We had a room to the backyard. The largest advantage was, however, we looked at the neighboring building. A super nice view you can from the pool, the pool was on the roof, enjoy. Read more

We booked this hotel for one night before our cruise. Be careful it is not located directly on the cruise terminal (on the other side of the bay!). The hotel is located in the old town, directly at the promenade and is a good base for a short walk through old San Juan. The decor of the hotel is clean and tidy, but plain, the service is good. We have not used the gastronomy. The hotel offers a very good price/performance ratio for a short stay compared to other hotels in San Juan in a similar category. Read more

So what I ended up having to do to get to the ship was drive to the ship, drop off all our luggage, and then go back to the hotel, drop off the car at the hertz facility there (which has terrible service that takes forever), and then literally walk the 4 miles back to the ship.
