a young modern hostel in a central location. Around the corner is located directly in front of the main shopping streets, and you can get everywhere on foot in ten minutes. Ideal for a short city break. Mainly filled with high school students, but relatively quiet at night. Rooms are in good condition and big enough. If you stay here overnight, know that there was no mini bar and no pay tv expect. The room was clean, shower and toilet separated. If you are going to edinburgh the time comes should not in the room spend. The hostel is located in the heart of edinburgh (for example, five minutes from the 'royal oak'). The hostel is in a good location on a side street the Royal Mile. Great location for most major attractions. The hostel itself has a great restaurant and the rooms are quite newly decorated. We only bothered by the fact that a daily towel change didn't have offered and there was no hair dryer or toothbrushes! Otherwise the hostel is definitely recommend! Read more

The 4 -bed-room is big enough, shower and toilet were separated in the room. The en-suite facilities unfortunately no windows and the extractor fan is not powerful, so after a shower in the bathroom is very stuffy air. The closets are in the room with a padlock we brought with us even locked. The floor is carpeted, the windows for German standard rather old and not very near (sash windows), the beds are comfortable enough for a few days. The hostel is only for short periods of time to recommend. We had to 4 husband a quad room and that was bloody cramped. Nothing for people with claustrophobia. The bathroom, if you could call it that, was adequate for the short time but also very small. Right next to the toilet was on the ground level the shower. However, the sink was in the room. All in all for the cheap price but still big enough. The hostel I would use again. Read more
