Hotel in older classic style. A lot Gold! The suites are really top and very large. The bathroom is very luxurious, with integrated TV in the wall and touchscreen (for the temperature) in the shower. ... Steigenberger group are concerned with: old-fashioned rooms in need of renovation -> they waited too long and dit nothing or only little. The staff is kind of arrogant and don't possess the charm who you are addressed in hotels of other chains. Probably the reason for this lies with the top management. However, meanwhile they have recognized their problems, and the the focus on the guests will be better. August 20, 2011, my husband and I checked in at the steigenberger for couple night we were coming from overseas to start a tour, we checked in at 10am eventhough our reservation stated 2 pm check in, as well we offered right away breakfast champagne, the hotel was smelling so nice from all the wild flowers all over the place, the staff were very worried about our comfort and assist us in every each way to find our way arround specially we don't speak the language, the room exceptionnaly clean and got tidy twice a day, in one word this hotel is excellent and will come back :) - in December 10
