The hotel in general
The Steigenberger Hotel in Hamburg has an inspiring atmosphere with its light-flooded, generous architecture. Behind the elegant red brick façade, guests will find pure luxury and relaxation in 233 rooms and suites. The hotel has 10 floors.

Hotel location
The hotel is situated directly in the city centre. All highlights of the city centre, such as the famous Rathaus (town hall), the Alster lake, the port of Hamburg with the historic warehouse complex, St. Michael´s Church and the wonderful shopping arcades of the city, are in comfortable walking distance. The hotel also has an excellent transport connection: a taxi stand is nearby, bus, suburban train and underground stations are at a distance of 100 m/110 yards. There is a direct suburban train connection to the airport (travel time approx. 30 minutes). From the airport take the suburban train S1 towards `Blankenese/Wedel´ and exit at the `Stadthausbruecke´ station. From here it’s only 100 metres to the Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg. By taxi it takes approx. 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel.

Service at the hotel
For hotel guests the use of the spacious day spa and fitness area is free of charge (including bathrobe, towels, toweling slippers, wellness tea and lemon water). Furthermore the hotel provides a free shoe shine service and a business corner with a free internet access. On sundays guest can enjoy a "late riser breakfast" until 12 o´clock in the daytime. Gastronomy in the hotel
The breakfast restaurant and CALLA gourmet restaurant are located directly on the waterfront with magnificant views on the waterway. At the CALLA gourmet restaurant you can savour the best of both worlds: uncomplicated European haute cuisine, with a subtle hint of far eastern flavours. In the hotel´s bistro with its charming winter garden and summer terrace you can enjoy light specialties with a hint of the Mediterranean. The piano bar right in the middle of the hotel foyer is ideal for ending the day with a sophisticated drink.

Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
At 650 square metres the hotel´s luxurious day spa with panorama sauna, steam bath, ayurvedic treatments, massages and cosmetic treatments gives you the chance to leave your everyday cares behind and enjoy a few hours of relaxation for yourself and your own well-being. On the fitness floor there are provided the best training facilities using the latest apparatus inside and on the fitness roof-deck.
