Steigenberger Hotel Nile Palace

We stayed in this very nice hotel for one week. We have chosen the Steigenberger Nile Palace for our stay in Luxor because of our good experience with other Steigenberger Hotels around the world. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a nice drink and the reception tried their best to manage our requests as professional as possible and in a quick as possible way, even if their english was not so good as we expected it. During our recent visit in Luxor we have chosen us for the steigenberger Nile palace, since we this time a German chain hotel wanted to visit. And it is a very nice house, wonderful location with view on Nile and the west bank. The room and balcony were spacious, we got a room without extra charge for Nile out, probably also, because the hotel was not full. We stayed for a few days in February at the Steigenberger Nile Palace. Of the upheavals in the country we saw almost nothing in Luxor, only the police was more friendly than usual. Very recommendable hotel with excellent price/performance ratio. Large quiet room with terrace and Nile view, many restaurants and cafes, very friendly staff and affordable prices, for example espresso 1.50 euro, mix grill twelve euro, 0.5 LT beer four euro. 20 minutes to Zirca walk to Luxor temple and city centre, taxi from/to the airport costs 7 Euro, taxi for five hours trip to west bank ' 25 euro, after four euro-of-the-mill.
