Located in the heart of the hanseatic city of Rostock an exceptional house would be pleased to welcome you. The Steigenberger Hotel Sonne is looking back to a 200 year old tradition of hotel business and gastronomy. In the 121 hanseatic appointed rooms and suites in the historical gable you will feel comfortable by looking over the roofs of the city.

This historic 4-star hotel in central Rostock is a 15-minute walk from the main railway station, within easy reach of the citys famous theatres and highlights including the Kunsthalle art gallery.
From here, you can walk to Rostocks central shopping area and cultural attractions in just 1 minute.

For meetings and events we provide ideal premises. The highlight is the well known “Apollosaal” with its noble parquet flooring and its wonderful dome light. You will find 330 m² with modern conference technology, air-condition and outdoor terrace in a traditionally ambiance. As this room is divisible to tree parts events of every nature are possible.
Our conference floor with the tree rooms “Turku”, “Göteborg” and “Riga” fit to the extensive range of congress possibilities of our house and offer ideal options for workshops and presentations. The classic salons “Brinckman” and “Tarnow” provide a stylish framework, each for 16 persons. For major societies its possible to interlink them.

For a visit from Rostock the hotel is sun ideally located. The staff pleased by friendliness and competence.
