The bathroom in need in need of renovation(shower didn't work) drinks in plastic cups by the pool cocoon bar or a no-go (wine and so on) otherwise a good informal Club hotel. If you like it, feel that way. Read more

We were for the first time in Egypt. With middle budget for a winter holiday is the Al DAU club in Hurghada was very reasonable, however, guests should definitely book 'superior', as you otherwise (as we did at the beginning) in the 'Russian bunker' (original soundtrack of uncertain) again. It is very noisy, and in the first four nights of our week was to sleep until 02:00 o'clock. In addition, these rooms have some limits, including mold in the bathroom, and leaky cables. At first I was disappointed, because I instead of the 5 *-accidentally 4 star steigenberger Al DAU hotel. But I was very pleased. We had a very nice week! The food was surprisingly really good. Somewhat greasier than we like it, but there was always a huge selection, so that there was something for everybody! The service was good. All were very friendly and accommodating. The beach in front of the hotel is very rude and unfortunately also somewhat small, however therefor you can get to the beach some fish to see! There are no balcony's on the standard rooms, and if you are unlucky to get one at the front of the block you will have loud music from the pitiful entertainment programme banging aroung your room until midnight.

we have been there for 3 days ,we were staying in another hotel & we decide to take 3 days in this hotel , we called Sakkara Agency to book with them & they found a room for us ,it was good idea to go,,,the hotel is quite big , with two swimming pools , one is big with water games & the other one is quiet good for children,there is also two main restaurants , one of them has renovation , and the capacity of the other rest.

I would strongly recommend to pay extra for Superior room ( Verdi building ) as standard rooms ( Aida building) are rather low quality. - in September 09

As it turned out one of the superior rooms was in fact a suite, which was big enough for another bed, rather than share abed with her mother, my daughter offered to have the double bed and her brother had the single, sorted! - in May 10

As I would normally have had to share with my son(due to two teenagers brother and sister being put in the same room = arguments), I asked when we arrived if I could upgrade, we where very lucky and where given a two superior rooms with connecting doors.

couldn't take all the guests , the food was poor ,no variation , but the waiters were very nice & helpful , they couldn't do much for you , they cleaned the room every day & supply it with the amenities ,,, we went to the beach one time with the shuttle bus & we take lunch there in the beach restaurant but there was silly thing that they separate the beach into two parts one for the Al Dau Club guests & the other part was for the Al Dau Beach guests & we are not allowed to use the pool in the other hotel which was ridiculous , the gym is free so we went there one time ,it was okay ,,, if you are Al guest you have one time free per stay to take dinner in the A la carte restaurant but you have to book with the guest relations one or two days before , The guest relations were really great help , we ask them about many things in hotel & they always have more step with you , really nice All in all i would def.
