We have in this hotel very felt comfortable however, it was also a couple of drawbacks. The rooms are spacious equipped but with very simple and defective materials/items and the furniture was already quite worn. But everything was always very clean. As a tip if you like a room (with balcony/terrace) with lots of sunlight (morning to night) want to be on the right side of the hotel/reserve (seen from the sea). the hotel lies near the airport, hence the transfer from the airport to the hotel very short. Despite its proximity to the airport is very rarely disturbed by aircraft noise. We were for the second time and certainly not the last time. Everything was perfect! What better in Egypt you can ask not for a beach holiday. The luxury already started at the airport. We were told by various sides, that the steigenberger was the best hotel in town. Both guides as well as of the regular, the different hotels in the area had tried. The grounds are a credit to the gardeners who work well into the night When checking in you do to to say if you want a nonsmoking room, the room we were in was on the ground floor (1132) so the views weren't so good but the room was spotless and ample sized.

The steigenberger beach hotel on first impressions is stunning and looks luxurious , but my 10 day stay there was a disappointment , the rooms were fine , but nothing exceptional for the most the staff were considerate and polite however , various people constantly approached you around the pool and beach area trying to sell various trips or treatments , after a few days this became an annoyance , if we,d wished to book anything we would of do so within the hotel. - in April 10
