the hotel is superb, around beautiful days in the winter able to live. Every day our very large rooms( room 71) cleaned, towels changed. The food was' more inclusive' absolutely great. Guests from Germany, Gigabyte and NL were in the hotel.
Comfortably furnished with couch, double bed, fridge and a bath( room 71). The size of the room was excellent. Adjoining at the room was a balcony with a great view of the Alps. We stayed here for 2011, so to second time in's hotel alpina Edwin and can highly recommend it.
it has been a few years back itself, but however it is in very good condition, the rooms and premises at all are very well maintained and clean and leisure' Bavarian urig' -a very comfortable atmosphere, overall evenings the food at the fireplace. The hotel impressed by the large and idyllic garden, secluded of noisy street. Nevertheless it is very centrally located from Berchtesgaden and lovely, right in the heart of the Bavarian Alps.

the hotel consists of two buildings, the a wonderful Lawn with old Baumberstand enclosure. Lobby and Gästeaufenthaltsräume are tastefully Bavarian and fine Antiques and pictures stocked. Open fireplace, Stereo area and very friendly service in the lounge.
the rooms (we could 5 visit) are different, comfortable and again with fine Antiques. Sanitary areas (bathroom/toilet/ pool/sauna) always clean.

We had 1 single and 1 double room booked, the rooms in the so-called new building (geschätz about seventies) reminded me of old converted delicous (trellised window), the adjoining rooms were not well soundproofed (only separated by a wood). Bath noise from adjacent indoor swimming pool. Of promised mini bar, telephone, hair dryer was nothing to see. Room without any comfort.
