Villa El Mocanal

We were well cared for and were greeted by the boss and the staff was very friendly. The manager spoke fluent German. Information is the boss there and happy to help. Since we didn't eat in the restaurant, I can't assess closing. We had room/breakfast booked. The breakfast was wide (fruit, eggs, meat, yoghurt, milk, cereals, etc.). This hotel is an absolute disaster. It is situated right on the main strip and is located in the north of mocanal El Hierro. The weather is as good as always. So you can use the pool in the garden are not. At night it was freezing cold in the room. We have never had such frozen, as in this hotel. We had booked a room with balcony, but didn't get. There is only one man, who speaks German. The other staff at the front desk speaks only English. There are no restaurants in mocanal, only the, which belonged to the hotel. Although only about 1/3 of the hotel was full, we were given on request a room with a balcony are available. Hotel is located on the main road. In the morning and in the afternoon there can be quite noisy from the traffic. In the village of El mocanal are unfortunately very many dogs. The constant barking can be annoying but right in the long term. As a base for a hiking vacation however ideal. Read more
