Albergo Residence Villa Rioddi is a 15th century villa which has been exquisitely renovated to retain its elegant and classic structure. Originally it was antique stage-coach station. Ideally located 2 Km from the historical centre of Volterra, the Hotel and apartment offer splendid views over the Cecina Valley. The apartment and 13 rooms are characteristically furnished in country style chestnut wood and each contains a bathroom with shower, new 32" tv lcd with 500 satellite channels, air dryer, safe, mini-bar, telephone and air-conditioning. The spacious lounge and bar area on the ground floor, the surrounding garden, the swimming pool and the warm hospitality promise a relaxing and peaceful stay.

A very beautiful and relatively small hotel untergrebracht in an old mansion on the 'bottom' of volterra. The hotel is run by mother and son, which-as well as the other staff-very hard to give the guests a beautiful holiday. Very good breakfast early with Italian specialities and a great cappuccino. In the evenings you get restaurant advice from the son of volterra and the surrounding area. Read more

We had a great time in the villa Rioddi.
The atmosphere was very familiar and warm.
The son of the house speaks English, the remaining persons only Italian. It is very hard, so there is actually no language barrier.
The rooms are a good size, with a powerful air conditioning and a flat screen tv, and in-room safes, and Mininbar equipped.
Very enjoyable: the outlets, which are available for German plugs.
Perfect breakfast with a drink of your choice and rich buffet, including changing regional specialities offers.

Small but nice. The house consists of only 17 rooms and is very family managed. You feel like you are guests in the Italian mummy of the house as at home immediately. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, very quiet location. The breakfast is absolutely great and highly recommended.
