Waldhotel Berghof is located about 500 the meters above hotel luisen valley located in the heart of the beautiful Thuringian forest. From here you can various walks undertake or various cities like Erfurt, Weimar and Eisenach with sights a. The front desk was very friendly. We booked this hotel again for Christmas and the new year and not regret it. The location of the hotel is ideal for hikers. After a busy day and were tired from long hiking tours you will be greeted by the friendly atmosphere of the house. The end of the day in the restaurant because of the very good service by the staff, especially the manager of the restaurant, Mr H., stick in one's mind. This was our second time and the quality is consistent only average. The hotel needs to be renovated, the carpets are very stained, the cobwebs in the stairwell are available as well as former in the bathroom. What is missing, is a fridge in the rooms. The food variety in the hotel was good, the quality, but the prices are in my opinion too high. Read more

For a four stars hotel, there were cobwebs everywhere, even in the restaurant. In the bathroom on arrival the hair from the previous guests, the bed sheets weren't changed and the towels were also only at the second time the house has five floors, but the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor.
