Very beautiful, peaceful hotel, also the loud music at night at the bar for 10 people after a short complaint immediately reduced. (which superior room in the pool area) Food a dream, great beach, all in all a dream holiday in paradise. read more

Very recommendable. Surprisingly good quality and sorgenloser vacation. The greeting was very failed: with a 'queue' of 4 couples at the front desk and perfectly overburdened empfangherr. The booked room with the balcony and terrace has as a room in the backyard and a table with 2 chairs at the public passage turned out. After complaining we have a beautiful room with the view of the sea and then everything was forgotten. There food was good. Particularly the steaks. The hotel is hneeinschränkungen recommendable. read more

Pleasant small hotel, the from several buildings. The entire area presented in a very tidy state. During our travels the hotel was fully booked, mostly americans, dutch, a few german, also russian and Hungary. The average age quite high, despite some young people with small children. read more

    We received on arrival a free upgrade to a superior studio with a bigger bed, sea view and jacuzzi. Was nicely meant, we did not need it. We are rather outside and the standard studios are also very pleasant. We could on the final day one reputation. Every room has a small kitchenette. Soluble coffee we had almost free of charge every day. The tap water is safe to drink. It belongs to the cleanest in the world. Free there is a safe in the room, bathrobes, and in the whole complex wi-fi. Lcd tv with american and spanischsprachigen programmes and of course also with the 'german wave'. Air conditioning is available, this worked well, you need it. The in our room there was a little noisy.

    Breakfast gives it from the buffet, this was rather american, but it was ok. We would have liked, sometimes others types of sausage to eat. You were served very friendly and accommodating. We booked half board, which afterwards as less beneficial. Main currency is on Aruba the US Dollar. By the favorable exchange rate we would have liked can save. Our tip: breakfast was sufficient, since it outside in other hotels restaurants. The price level is relatively high. You should circa 40 American Dollar/person plan for a dinner. The dinner in the ' mango ' was delicious. Lots of grilled meat, good side dishes and salads (à la carte). You shouldn't miss dinner at the ' passions'. Heared to the hotel and is across the street from directly at the beach. Flambeau lighting, good food and the feet almost in the water. A romantic evening.

    The staff is very friendly. They spoke english, papiamento and less dutch. Special thanks at Juan from the breakfast service, as well as Natalie and their two colleagues in the evening in the 'mango'. The cleaning of the rooms sometimes left until late in the afternoon to get, that was done, was tidy, not more or less.

    On site there is a small shop. He sees in the official pictures very nice large. The deceptive. We didn't need it. The fantastic beach with white sand and the sea with super clean water are so close! The pool used some older people and a few families with very small children. At the beach we had it nice and quiet. Beach chairs and towels there were enough. However there are also here the 'beach chairs manned', the morning after sunrise the first row block and then against 10 times by-look. The loungers are with wire ropes and castles on the (fixed) umbrellas attached. The sense was developed, since stack with attached beach chairs available were. The young man from the staff, the beach service was responsible, was sometimes time until the afternoon, around the loungers time to unlock. If the sun from the other side seemed, you had to solution, not in the blazing sun. The is however really the only point of criticism.

    Aruba is small, despite several stopovers we were just 15 minutes from the airport in the hotel. The hotel is directly on a street, the cross, to to the beach to get. This is for us not a problem at all been, since 1st is the road not busy and 2. stops each car and the pedestrians pass. The next hotels are right next door, nevertheless, our beach section was pleasantly empty. A bit further, on Palm Beach, in the huge hotels, you can also in the 9. number at the beach are and the sea imagine. For those who need it... We have the peace and quiet enjoyed. Less than 50 steps to the beach. Wonderful.

Nice informally run hotel with really nice staff. Were during our stay with improvements the service and the offer at the breakfast buffet busy. We as guests have been very positive in the transformation involved and in our opinion asked. Hotel location directly at the beach, by a street separated. Traffic was in our day in the Easter week rather negligible. Loungers, sun screens and Schwimmmatten free. read more

'The manor' is ideal to swim and relax. A short distance away on the road to the beach is absolutely no problem. Beach chairs and umbrellas were plentiful available and you can always get a shady place. It is with 70 rooms the smallest hotel in the area. The power it was very comfortable and pleasant. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. In few minutes one is in the city as also in the neighborhood. It is there some nice restaurants in which one well and favorably to eat can. Otherwise, we have made only a ... Inselrunfahrt. This took the small size not very long, is but worth it. read more

In the us we have felt hotel Amsterdam Manor, as in any other hotel. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and whole hotel area extremely is exemplary. As the bus stop directly in front of the hotel has a very good connection with the one public bus. The distance to a very, very beautiful beach is just over 50 metres-that the hotel from the beach by a street separated it is, not at all disturbing. The beach area is also very well equipped and very clean-comfy, clean toilet, great beach bar with tasty snacks, cocktails and ... other items. The guests can go to passions beach-restaurant is an absolute must, in a great atmosphere including quality of the food here you will get a fantastic dinner while the toes in the sand and enjoy the sun down the hallway. The Amsterdam manor is a because of its size a very cosy hotel with a lot of flair what we to 100% recommend. read more

    Even the little units have a living-, sitting-, kitchen-area and a small bedroom. A 140cm bed fits into the latter with 40cm space on either side as well as an Ikea cupboard, the "Trulleberg" model, with crooked doors that don't shut. The bathroom has no ventilation (and it smells like it doesn't). Everything is really clean (as others have so often commented upon) but that was part of the problem- the smell from the cleaning-products was really disgusting. Other features: hairdryer, safe (placed in the furthest corner of the fridge- ideal for contortionists), TV, telephone- but it did cost 170 euros a night! Outside, every unit has a small terrace either to itself (big apartments) or shares with its neighbour. The big apartments for families have several bedrooms and a big dining-table. As it's a "green" hotel, smokers are not welcome even in outdoor areas.

    Anyone who likes it when pigeons and other birds circle around the buffet and peck at the cutlery, serving-spoons, muesli and little bits of butter so that they come out of their packaging, will like it here. The continental breakfast is rather modest, if you want an "American breakfast" you can choose two items (for example bacon and eggs). All in all the hotel is really better suited for self-catering holiday-makers (there is a kitchenette with a big fridge in the rooms, which the big families really make use of).

    Our room was immediately available after check-in at 12. It was so clean and the smell of freshly used cleaning products so strong that one almost felt sick... Breakfast vouchers were not distributed, which created a few problems the next morning (luckily those who had forgotten to hand them out were on hand!!!). They forgot to book the showers for the day of our departure though they made a real effort- at very short notice- to ensure that we could shower in the room of another family who were leaving.

    The hotel is situated (almost) right by the beach (street between hotel and beach is no problem) in the "Low-Rise-Zone". The beach is not as wide and the sand not as good as in other places in Aruba (eg Tamarijn). It's actually rather grubby and it stinks. You can watch the sun as it sets on the beach from the rooms on the first floor.

Nice hotel, but staff that's annoyed when it should be serving or helping you and they try to get you to pay normal prices during "Happy Hour" The refrigerator in the room is practical but too loud to sleep. Dirty hand towels after being changed. A great beach and tons of great restaurants nearby ("All inclusive" at the Amsterdam Manor is definitely not worth it). read more
