Beautifully located hotel with very friendly service and great fitness area. Our room at the galomar was a bit dated, bribed but by the beautiful sun terrace. read more

We really liked the complex. Particularly has us the bar with a view of the steilküste much, from which the sunset observe could. The food in the fish restaurant atlantico, the also on the hotel is, was delicious. Unfortunately is however the ambience of the place a little bland. The staff were very nice (we have not a single prune met) and courteous. The rooms at the galomar are not brand-new anymore, but clean and for the price, we paid, ok. We can recommend the hotel with in good conscience. read more

The hotel galomar is the 3 star hotel the hotel. It is older, easy but clean and tidy. You can all furnishings the other houses the hotel share, and you must remember, that longer paths (to eat etc. ) Must be. Altogether a very beautiful area in excellent location high above the sea with friendly waiters. Ideal for a quiet vacation for relaxing or sporting activities. It disturbed us, that the swimming pool at 4 evenings the week not be used could, because it for association - or kinderschwimmen was reserved. read more

The galo resort galomar, formerly an independent hotel have to be, because the remains of a front desk still in the entrance area. In the meantime you will have the front desk the neighboring 4 stars hotels cared for. However seems to at least one of the altogether three stars of the galo resort galomar of the neighbouring hotel to come, in which you the breakfast occupieth (the buffet is very good). The galomar has its zenith far exceeded: decor from the 80. years basic art. And as it is not even a balcony there, if you want to in ... the room it's just a place to sleep and shower. Internet there are in the lobby (free at the computer for 15 minutes wi-fi subject to a charge! And also only in the lobby). read more

The rooms were very badly soundproofed. Every evening by the pool music until 23:00 or 12:00 p. m. of live music is played. Unfortunately was the reception and the breakfast not in the hotel galomar, but in the neighboring hotel. Therefore every morning was also a walk on public streets announced. The frühstückfbüfett was very good. Also the cleanliness of the rooms. However the rooms are in need of renovation. The hotel is only on a bus connected, so a rental car recommends. read more

A very nice, big hotel with an extensive complex. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the foreign language skills are excellent. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within the complex, the reasonable are. For a pure beach vacation is neither the hotel the whole island definitely suitable, with small children you should ensure, that this are light on their feet. Generally you can with this hotel actually nothing wrong. read more

With the tour operator Detour we would not get away. The advice and Wunschänderung after erfolgerter reservation were with no competence and eventual Goodwill for the customers taken into account. read more

We have unfortunately a very dark room in the last motion of the hotel get. A move is after 4 days possible. Room 4409 is therefore not recommendable. You hear constantly the pump from the indoor pool. A shame. read more

Hotel Galomar for a three-star hotel very pleasing. Since everything in the 4 *hotel Galosol share must. We were mainly for diving there. Diving school is recommendable! Dipping is very diverse! Will come again! read more

The hotel consists of several houses, Galomar, Ondamara, as well as Atlantico. SPA and exercise area the galosol could also be used. Dining room is in the ondamar. We were essentially for diving there. The in the hotel resident diving Manta diving is very recommendable. Breakfast is varied and tasty. We had no half board booked, but individual dinner bought with it. From 3 time there is discount. You can also very good in the area eat out. All of the staff are very attentive and almost all of the staff/ inside are at least one foreign language at least ... in approaches powerful, thus actually no problems with being understood. Problem were immediately tackled and fixed. The hotel is unreservedly recommendable and we were definitely not there for the last time. read more

wonderful well-kept clean Appendix-mostly German tourist in the middle age. At the cleanliness there was nothing to complain about. We had half board. Unfortunately the warm dishes were always a bit lacking and for us a bit too few seasoned. The selection was for us reasonable. read more

    We had booked hotel galomar(three stars) booked. Rooms with megabyte and balcony. TV, telephone and safe( for a fee) were available. The '-in closet room' is very pleasant. Also shower and toilet are available. For cleanliness was always respected. Room is three stars level.

    the first days our stay was still in the restaurant Atlantico dining. After the renovation the galosol was again in the restaurant Ondamar dining. The capoeira pub it was very pleasant. Cleanliness and hygiene were reasonable. There was a Mediterranean buffet - buffet 'Classic' - Italian buffet - Tagesbüfett - buffet 'Classic' with Violinenbegleitung -Tropical buffet - Maderensisches buffet. The atmosphere was very ahgenehm.

    wonderful well-kept clean Appendix-mostly German tourist in the middle age. At the cleanliness there was nothing to complain about. We had half board. Unfortunately the warm dishes were always a bit lacking and for us a bit too few seasoned. The selection was for us reasonable.

    the room was simple, with balcony (see picture). Without a balcony perhaps it would be too easy. In the bathroom everything worked, the doors are very, very thin, so it is a bit noisy, the is however the only downside. Apart from that there are telephone and TV.

    In the area there were several distributed restaurants and bars, which are all not at all let go. Particularly beautiful: there is the possibility to go half board 'dine arround', in which you buffet against a coupon from €10, -can be exchanged, in a other the restaurant of the hotel could use (only season). There is a pizza place, a fish restaurant, a bar/pancake house (in our case combined, but apparently there is also a real pancake restaurant) and other bars/restaurants. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was well maintained and rich. The food is especially in the fish restaurant Atlantis very good!

    The galomar is in one part the place canico( the center canico is 350 meters higher and by bus or car easy to reach, there is also a footpath). The next beach was the LiDo directly in front of the house, in which there is also a large sea water pool. Restaurants, possibility for shopping and bus station is in the immediate area. The hotel, rooms and garden are at any time very clean been. There are always industrious cleaning Forces on and in the hotel on the way. It is breakfast or half board possible, that each in the galosol hotel about 150 meters away is served.     Nice small rooms with pensionscharakter, we felt very much at ease. We had view of the sea and balcony. The furnishing may be a bit rustic but it is everything available drying rack at the balcony, TV (many German programs), soap, shower gel Donors, hair dryer and the usual. It is true that it very badly soundproofed. Perhaps earplugs if you have problems has. It was always very clean cleaned.

    In the hotel there is the main restaurant ( breakfastand buffet in the evening), a pizzeria, pool bar, Capoeira Pub= beach bar, Atlantis fish restaurant and the ondamar bar. We have only booked breakfast. This was plentiful with a large selection, clean and always apetizingly arranged. Empty plates were immediately refilled. There is a wide selection from fresh fruit salad, several Müsliarten, yoghurt, sausage, cheese with varying choice, fruit juice automat, cakes and for South proportions delicious rolls or baguette/bread, etc. Especially good the large coffee/ Teehaferl fallen, so you do not constantly get up for a new drinks. It was also very nice in the morning on the terrace for breakfast. The atmosphere was always quiet and pleasant. We have once the pizzeria used( pizza is delicious, salad of the buffet) and the capoeira bar. Drinks in two in comparison to other local restaurants relatively expensive( beer 0.5= 3.40 euros)

    There is a large leisure offer from the hotel. From hiking on sports, fitness club and spa facilities, bike rent, diving school, internet (free for 15 minutes), and so on everything you can as a guest the galomar use. We had a diving vacation planned. Unfortunately we cannot the base Manta diving in the hotel not recommend for a lack of commitment and ridiculous dealing with guests. Furthermore there is bad weather just a Ausweichtauchplatz (until 13 meters Deep). Reef nearby and Boottg. Not then possible. But you see a other diving by boat at the nearby reef diving...     From the airport you can reach the hotel in about 15 minutes on the highway, we are with a small bus with two other guests spent and normal taxi again picked up.     we had a room without a balcony or terrace, what the booking so not emerged. The room is small and the furniture old. The bathroom and particularly the (in any wind rattling ) doors are in need of renovation. The building is very badly soundproofed. Especially the front door, with all the time, if a guest evenings came home, with a loud bang zuschlug, US made it impossible to sleep. Our room lag directly at the way, the LiDo and cocktail bar led. The music in the bar ended mostly at 22:00 o'clock, the guests went but often later noisy under our window past there was a (small ) TV, but unfortunately no fridge.

    There is a main restaurant, a fish restaurant and a pizzeria. The breakfast was really good. There were always different types of bread, eggs in all variations, omelets with filling according to desire, pancakes, fresh vegetables, a very delicious fruit salad, cheese and sausage ( however only pressed ham ), yoghurt, marmelade, juices and a granola bar. The coffee tasted excellent. Everything very clean and well maintained. It was nice, that you outside on the terrace breakfast. the dinner in buffet form was extensive, the dishes however nothing special tasty. Piquant or even sharp dishes searched one in vain. Everything tasted irgdenwie bland. Also worked the buffet after 20 o'clock quite 'eroded'. (food was already from 18 o'clock ) Snacks the pool bar were expensive and not really good. Also the beverages were relatively expensive. Annoying ( especially for breakfast ) was, that one the plate was pulled away got, hardly that you have food was ready.

    Sports facilities there were very many, the we however didn't use. A access to the internet was about 10 euros per week to have. When sauna had used, the fitness studio belongs, was a subsequent bath in the indoor pool not possible, because a Kinderschwimmkurs took place. the ' secure beach' or the LiDo is also accessible for everyone. The use is for hotel guests free of charge. Get off on Stairways and ladders to the water. Unfortunately closes the bathroom already at 18 o'clock, so that it limited hardly creates, after a day of hiking in cool wet jump. The water the seawater swimming pools was usually already shortly after 17 o'clock forebore, which we a great shame found. In the fresh water pool the Galosols could (or wanted ) you at this time no more swimming, because on the terrace from 18 o'clock already people for dinner had settled. The loungers was old, partly broken and uncomfortable. The Changing rooms, toilets and showers were very good equipped and very clean. in the related cocktail bar there was live music and lectures for the evening entertainment of the guests.

    Directly on the galomar is access to the'beach' in canico de Baixo there is options for shopping (small supermarket ) and restaurants, in canico city larger supermarkets and more restaurants. there is a bus station in the immediate area. The bus connection is good. In canico de Baixo there is still some other hotels in landschaftsverträglicher construction and many vacation homes and Villas beautiful garden.
