- Room
We had a bedroom, a living room, a separate bathroom and a private balcony available. The bed was large and comfortable, from the balcony one had a magnificent view, in the living room there was a fridge and TV velvet DVD player and the bathroom was large and modernly furnished.
- Gastronomy
On arrival in the room expected us homemade cakes, the really was delicious.
For breakfast there was actually everything, what we wanted, eggs in all variations, bacon, even made it muesli (the recipe we have taken) and much fresh fruit.
- Service
In our three-week NZ- round trip it was the only thing Times, the host with us breakfast. The result was an almost zweistündiges breakfast with detailed and nice conversations ( those two are Fans of Ernst Mosch) as well as many insider tips around the thermal Wonderland.
Since we were on our honeymoon (and the in the Buchungsemails had mentioned), there were still a bottle of wine top. A shame, that we had only one day were there.

Taupo for us was the high point of the North Island and we regret it, only one day there to have remained. The ambleside is located above the lake, and it has a dreamlike view. Pat and soot take a very warm welcome and have a room in the extra class. The breakfast there is and then you can better than at home feel.
- Location
From ambleside is the center from Taupo good on foot or by car to reach, nevertheless you can sleep here wonderful quiet. The private (really large) balcony has a spectacular view of the lake and the MT tongariro.
