The maldron is a modern (and still fairly new) middle class hotel in the center of Cardiff. The hotel has 12 floors from the upper floors you have to part a good view over the town or Cardiff bay. read hotel review

    The room was big enough, modern and clean. However, there are hardly any counter space. The windows are well insulated, due to the vicinity of the train and the city center but it is not completely quiet. The windows did not open, but the room had a functioning air conditioning system. Bathroom and toilet were modern (sink with mischarmatur ) furnished and clean. (it lacks a shaving hitting a corner box.)

    The hotel is very centrally located almost next door to the main bus and train station. The hotel is situated on the entrance to the city center. There are numerous restaurants, pubs, discos, etc. Only little further away is the shopping area with its victorian passages and a large, modern shopping center. All destinations in the city center are easy walking distance. Recently there was a regular expressbusverbindung from the bus station to the airport.

Located in the centre, just a short walk away from railway and coach stations. It's a pretty new property, rooms are spacious and modern. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again. read hotel review

In the course of a round trip through Wales with a group (30 people) were spent two nights at the maldron Hotel Cardiff. Leisure opportunities, food, etc. were due to the group not measurable, but the hotel is super clean (which was still new), the staff were friendly and the food was plentiful and tasty. read hotel review
