New Plymouth, definitely not at the route of most tourists. Villa Heights is however worth a visit. Rosemary and John (including dog Daisy) are very warm hosts, a very impressive property have created (tip: John questions, where the building originally confessed). A massive garden adjoins and on the veranda is a refreshing beer and the view of the MT Taranaki well the dinner. The breakfast is exactly good as the rest, the room is large as well as the bathroom. Everything is very clean and you feel from the start at home. read hotel review

We stayed here the first upgrade for free our trip. The room was big, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom newly renovated. A full fridge and a flat screen TV complete the picture. It was really nothing to moan about, also the price was adequate.

The breakfast was very versatile and there was fresh Pancakes served. In addition to toast, muesli, fruit, (good) coffee and various homemade marmelade. Rosemary has in the kitchen conjured, while John very nice the service and the good mood has.

Rosemary and John are simply genial-without being intrusive. We were very warmly welcomed and directly invited, us all to look at (the garden is worthwhile the big). On every question we got a detailed answer. In the room there were cookies and coffee, in addition to drinks as beer, coke and water in the fridge, all inclusive.

The swerve over new Plymouth we would probably now not again make, because too much there was then nevertheless not to see( in comparison to South Island). As the MT Taranaki the whole day in the clouds was, we were in a bad mood. These flew away but very fast on arrival. You have a beautiful peace and from the veranda a great view of the mountain. To new Plymouth, it is not far and in 5 minutes one is on the next Highway.

Villa heights bed & breakfast is a bit out of new Plymouth. Quiet can you not to stay at this hotel and the location is perfect for all things to do around Mt. Taranaki. By car it is ten minutes in new Plymouth, one varied restaurant selection or the very beautiful beach promenade and at the same time you can reach the major possibilities for hiking the area. Unfortunately we only had one night in the context of our tour in new Plymouth. The area would have clearly deserves more attention and alone the B&B so much more nights well ... worth it. The older host couple is so nice, that you can't put into words and there but not pushy at all. The property itself is rather a dreamlike villa beautiful garden. We immediately felt very comfortable and homey. The rooms are huge with giant large comfortable bed. In the room there were diverse types tea, coffee, cocoa prepare. The freshly baked granola bars of the house crazy for sweet bills. The hostess the recipe written down, next week to bake I will report back to you. A refrigerator with complimentary drinks (coke, Fanta, water, beer) and wine to the super market price is also in the room. Shower gel, Lotion, bathrobes and great and fluffy towels were also available. The breakfast consisted of a small, but for a bed & breakfast stunning buffet (Various cereal, Joghturt, various eingekochtes fruit, juice, milk, toast, jam and honey, a plate with fresh fruit and a plate eggs with bacon, tomato, mushrooms and hash browns. The cleanliness of the restaurant was wonderful and very nicely set up, so that the guests really as the renewal king felt. For us was the villa heights bed & breakfast really the best bed & breakfast, which we on our tour from the North new Zealand had. read hotel review
