Hotel with lots of colorful cottages at canarian-style, this makes a homely and reasonable impression. Everything in top condition, very clean and tidy. Wireless internet in the rooms available, however only for a fee, which is not seasonable any more. Average age was rather high, many holidayers. read more

The hotel is very beautiful and we can it recommend with a clear conscience! The super friendly welcome at the front desk, including a champagne (optional only juice or a mix of juice and sparkling wine) was the start of our great stay. Our double room turned out to be a studio and had 2 rooms (1 bedroom, 1 living room and a kitchenette), and a terrace and for us was by the size more than enough. The furnishing was new and bright, we felt immediately! In the restaurant we only had our breakfast and can therefore to the other ... meals nothing say. The menu for the half board guests (dinner) and the card for the à la carte guests read but very good! The breakfast buffet was very good. There was everything that your heart could desire (different juices, cold cuts, eggs in all variants- scrambled eggs, fried eggs, boiled eggs, cereals, vegetables, fruit and so on.). The pool we after our busy day trips really enjoyed. The water pleasantly warm and so was it nice also still against 20./ 9:00 p. m. baden to go. read more

It was for the 3. time really enjoyed. The staff remains the same team which for the hotel speaks. Very pleasant and informal. No question remains at the front desk, very helpful.
It is a bit further from the action, but with a hired car nevertheless everything is quickly reached. There is a wide selection to trip -possibilities.
We will be back!

Los silos is no further anticipate resort, but as a location for hiking holidays in north-western tenerife (teno-gebirge) and with a rental car very recommendable. The hotel complex luz del mar is without any restriction to recommend! read more

The whole hotel complex makes a very nice and very well-kept impression. Because of the location on the hillside and the very lots of stairs nothing for families or disabled. The location of the hotel on the edge the place is just very bad. The view from all balconies on the sea by streets, a gyroscope, unfinished buildings and two apartment areas with high rise 'spared' (see Google Earth). Los silos is a less attractive place and to the bus (runs twice an hour, takes forever) you have to 15 minutes walk up the hill. The service in the hotel ... is very good, the employees were unfailingly friendly and nearly all speak perfect german. Breakfast and dinner i found it good; alone the portions during dinner would have significantly larger can be (all corridors) and the wines were too expensive. There is a gym, sauna, pool and various spa services-all things, which i believe is absolutely useless, but unfortunately would had. A bit disappointed i was from the rooms: boring interior, rather uncomfortable, no special comfort and with southern hotels usual small macken and unschönheiten. Positive: the big balcony and the in all the rooms existing small kitchen.
Conclusion good hotel in bad location and with bad price-performance ratio. read more

Nice hotel, very good service, restaurant very good. A good starting point for walks in the teno mountains. The place silos offers hardly anything, it is not a tourist area. Possibilities to go swimming only in the pool and may public swimming pool in los silos (but it was in the November closed). The it on the north coast but clear.
The rooms are beautiful, the electric device show however first a failure appearance. On complaint they responded quickly. read more

The hotel is split in small, colorful, individual bungalow accommodation-each equipped with a small garden respectively balcony. The bungalows are on a hill, almost on different floors, designed, the stairs. The rooms are average and really big ( with small kitchen). The pool is beautifully landscaped - with a sea view. On foot one goes about 5 minutes to the sea ( stony beach, with bathing shoes!). In the morning is rather low tide, then one can black beach better into the water go. The hotel is a good starting point for excursions ( rental car) in the teno region. ... In the town itself (los silos) is not much was offered.
The staff speaks good German, partly. Are the employees even from Germany ( especially the waiters).
In short: who looking for peace and quiet, is absolutely at the right address. For those who love action and tons of tourist wants, should be better in the south of the island. read more

We were from end of September 14 days in the wonderful LUZ DEL MAR. We had merely booked with breakfast included, which I everyone, gladly the great local kitchen the Canary Islands want to discover, absolutely recommend can.
That's why we could in relation to the kitchen only the morning food judge.
The breakfast was good and fresh. We could, at the stay of 14 days, perhaps a bit more variety desired. The quality of the meals is good and everything was apetizingly arranged.
Who, like us, not in a group travels, need definitely a rental car. For all excursions ..., restaurants and larger purchases you need a car!
We were in the focus for hiking on the island and except for the pool no other offers of the hotel taken into account. The pool is spacious large and after a long trip the absolute delight, a peaceful oasis.
Our room was great. A very large suite, tastefully decorated and well maintained.
The hotel complex is great in shot and very nice. We are after each trip like 'home' old. The farewell is difficult.
The direct environment around the hotel - oh well. The farther up the hill, the core of Los silos is quite nice, but overall - well stop.
Would like to have four recommendations to deliver. Hopefully wars I the names still together.
Mar y Luna in buenavista (do not in the area deter - the food is great), the Burgados also in buenavista (gala sea view with sunset and above all a great Paella, the rest was rather average), the bodeguita in Los silos directly on the street from the hotel upward (small, but good menu) and El patio de Internan in Los silos, district La Caleta ( A beautiful small restaurant with excellent, unusual kitchen with local products-the chef speaks outstanding German).
A instruction to check in with the rental car. Just returned after dark, you should on arrival airport South the from the hotel empfohlende round of eastward to the island take. We are, because it on the menu shorter appeared the Westrunde dangers. Timid drivers with a sensitive stomach Come here 'fully at their expense'-).

Very well maintained facilities with 49 rooms. Large, never overcrowded pool in which you could really swim. Wellness department with various possibilities to the massage and very friendly physiotherapist. read more

The Luz del Matr is a well run hotel, far away from the usual touristy parts. In the planning of a stay, should however a rental car not be missed. If you during the day on the island ' expenditure-raved themselves' has, you can evenings in the quieter area of the Luz del Mar to.
If you are on the way to the southern climes or to El Teide the island opens, should have a rental car allow, not just the low-PS class should.

To a stay in the rather gloomy Puerto de la Cruz means Los silos relaxing peace. Practically no animation, a discreet activities ( pool, sauna, fitness, massage, hiking) and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms with kitchen ( kettle, microwave, dishes, cutlery) are sensational. The restaurant offers varied and very tasty food. read more

We were with 22 and 23 years the recent guests in the hotel, nevertheless we were warmly welcomed and can only recommend this hotel!
The rental car is in the location of the hotel almost a 'must', but thus can one the variety the island meet and excursions in the surrounding landscape undertake!
The staff are all very nice, accommodating and have always good mood. Of course you are with tips to excursions or also in the selection of the food to the side.
The hotel is built like a small village and offers a really Canarian flair!

The hotel is definitely recommendable nonetheless.
Our room was large and very clean. The room was with a safe, tv and hair dryer equipped. The furnishing is new and clean.
The bathroom has underfloor heating and the room has an airco.
The hotel complex is in top condition and very appealing. The pool area was very inviting and clean. A fitness room is available. Since we don't use it, I can't review deliver.
The restaurant was clean and furnished nicely.
The breakfast than rich buffet offered. It different juices, milk and water over the buffet offered. Furthermore, tea or coffee ... be ordered. There were different sorts of cereals and fruit, as well as yoghurt and Quark offered. As desserts are honey and jams offered. There is rich cheese- and meat platters. You can choose between rolls and bread, as well as fresh toast select. In addition warm sausages and mirror- and boiled eggs.
The staff speaks good German and after two days the room numbers by heart.
Since we half board booked, we got for breakfast always a small note, on the we the dinner to select. One has during dinner the choice of three appetizers, in the main course either meat, fish or vegetarian, and two desserts. Instead the desserts can also fruit salad be ordered. Thursday will be a menu offered, as there were' Canarian Abend' with live music in the hotel is. Every saturday also a menu offered, since here mainly the bettenwechsel take place.
For the pool area you can at the front desk special towels and bathrobes available.
From the hotel per week different excursions inclusive bus transfer offered. This we didn't use, since we a guided trip booked.
Nearby the hotel, there is two small stores. Recommendable is definitely the store at the white house! The shop in the red house has no large assortment. read more

The complex integrated well in the surrounding development, seemed loosened and funky. It has a nice pool with a view of the nearby mountains and a pleasant sauna area.
