We booked this hotel for a one night stay during a game of Manchester United on boxing day used. The room iBIS typical was equipped with all the (including hair dryer) equipped, the room was clean. However, there were no German TV channels. In the entrance area there is an Internet place, the free used could be, wireless in the room with ten (!) per day £ridiculously expensive. The breakfast buffet is very adequate with hot food (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages), as well as cheese, cereals, jam etc., baguettes and croissants-tip: when booking fee, at the front desk the ... whole thing cost 7.50 pound per person with about twice as much! Top location: five minutes walk to the city center and Chinatown as well as the train station, restaurants and shopping possibilities thus all literally on the doorstep. After 'old Trafford' with the tram about five stations. In Manchester one did not need a different hotel. read more

Typical Ibis hotel in the best location in the city

For a short stay in Manchester I chose this hotel, because it is a central location should be. I was not disappointed. One can everything worth seeing (cathedral, town hall, shopping centers) within walking distance, and if not, you just in one of the numerous buses. Chinatown is right around the corner. The Canal street (gay area) a few minutes. Three free bus line drive through the city center, two of them leave the nearby Ibis. The train station Manchester Oxford street is within a few minutes walking distance, as well as piccadily. The tourist Information Center is in ... the same street perhaps two hundred meters away. There is also the bus station. It's worth a trip to old Trafford (Manchester United)-with the bus line 250 or X50 in a few minutes to reach. Stadium tour join, terrific! The Ibis is a typical Ibis, as you know it from Germany. Small, but fully working bathroom, minimalist, but functional furniture. A shame, that it is a plug adapter for central only five pound charge plug-not a service? Breakfast nothing special, but okay and nothing to complain about for the price. I would recommend this hotel again at any time again, as it was a perfect starting point for exploring the city offers. read more

With IBIS and generally Accor hotels is you just returned to the UK on the safe side. Other hotels provide often miserable and worn-out furniture in high prices. Hotel is centrally located, Piccadilly Station is only a few yards away. It's worth a trip to Liverpool. Worth seeing how the two traditional industrial cities and LIV you have developed. Great shopping center. Stunning interesting, fun but Soory partly ordinary the "flavor Bekleidungweise the British ladies" read more

Typical Ibis city hotel in an outstanding city. The functional spaces are due to the small and narrow room very limited. The service convinced through friendliness. Basic but good tasting dishes breakfast in the beautiful setting. read more

Stayed for a long weekend in Manchester! The location of the hotel is great if you want to see the city! Everything within walking distance, great restaurants just around the corner ( China Town)! Pedestrian street with the usual stores maybe 10 minutes on foot, bus stops just outside the door! Hotel for a couple of nights absolutely enough! Breakfast typical English, but ok! Restaurant a bit like a quick snack! If you have a bit of fun and want to enjoy yourself ( at other), you should be you once in the evening to ( about 8 minutes) and ... over the Canal Street shopping and one of the pubs retreat! It Throbs gay life of Manchester, and you can admire many admire! Also when hetero highly recommended as really nice people and a lot of party! For a fantastic view over Manchester to dusk quiet time the Hilton hotel with its bar "Cloud 23" again! Also walking distance, is but a little further! It has on the 23rd floor a really great view of Manchester and great cocktails! So, I hope the info helped with a nice stay in Manchester! read more
