The rooms are big enough with bath and separate toilet. The rattan furniture have already seen better days. The balcony is equipped with a small table and two armchairs. Criticism is the tv reception. The devices are ancient. Receivable is only ZDF and RTL, if the channels was functioning, otherwise 6 french, 1 italian transmitters and several arabischsprachige. At 6 weeks holiday at least we from time to time once news can, in german language! Bathroom and toilet were very clean, without mold. But with a hair dryer and various small bottles of shampoo, shower gel and body lotion.

There was a main restaurant with buffets to all meals and a menu restaurant, in the once during the stay a typical dinner be consumed (Couscous). By the pool there is a field-pizzeria with a poolside bar. In the bar can enjoy drinks in the all-inclusive-carte. On cleanliness and hygiene we couldn't complain. The cuisine is international. Once per week there was a tunisian buffet, once an italian, once a candlelight dinner. The renovation from the main restaurant the room optically well. The furnishing is still from comfortable rattan furniture. Through the vaulted ceiling with several pillars, the room not so sterile like in many other hotels. Tips are like everywhere gladly taken.

Friendliness is with the staff largely written. As well as make every effort with the guests in their native languages to speak, except the entertainers and the guest carer. As except french as good as nothing, why the almost exclusively around the french and locals care, if at all. Only for lunch they were always the fastest. Our room was always piccobello cleaned. A mini club is available, but it was due to a lack of kids almost always closed.

Entertainment-see above, disaster! Sport offers were very infrequent, at best darts, the play the ladies and gentlemen at the dearest one. There is in Tunisia nicer beaches, so we will go in the winter not into the odyssey. The hotel-own beach section every day well maintained. Beach chairs are abundant, at the pool as well as at the beach, with umbrellas. Beach towels are spent in vain, for an appropriate card, for the 20 Dinar be filed. Except for the large pool there was also an indoor pool and a thermal pool in the open.

The odyssey resort is by the architectural style the most authentic hotel tunisia, unfortunately but also ageing, what in every corner it is clear. Biggest drawback: the rotten sanitärleitungen. Everywhere it smells like sewage, often also after fäkalien. Otherwise very very clean. Wifi is in area bar and front desk for free. Universe inclusive are possible. Mainly french guests, few germans and even fewer british. Despite holidays in France and some states were hardly any kids there, the children of tunesiern or lybier.

The odyssey resort is situated in a beautiful garden of palm trees directly at the beach, an oasis in the stricken area. The the hotel's gardener give themselves very much trouble. The airport Djerba is approximately 1 hour away. Above the hotel is the settlement sangho. Shopping and night life-none, we didn't want that anyway. Some small bars and restaurants are located, as well as a bus stop with driving possibilities after zarzis and Djerba. Due to the lasting drought the country is completely completely dry. Street cleaning seems only sporadically must take place. Garbage and dross decorate roads and open spaces.

We always book the same room and were satisfied. It is clean and large enough. Positive was the separate toilet. The tv is still unacceptable. The two german programs are in addition to and of poor quality. You are very hard, but it does not help much. With a star hotel you have a larger variety of programs and quality. It is simply to old installations, because the jeweler in erdgeaschoß get the programmes is the best quality and high numbers. If you something to see, then this is a good stop.

The selection of dishes was taken, is however still well. The food tastes, if you take into account in a hotel and not with 'nuts'. The cleanliness and also, the hygiene was without blames. The taste was very towards the Tunisia made for. The atmosphere is through the converted dining room better. Only disturbing were the kleiderstil of some of the guests, the apparent with half long pants and ax shirt just felt comfortable. There would have the hotel management must, as other hotels is usual. The dining room is open for evening dinner no french fries digs. As everywhere, small recognitions make the stay pleasant and waiters and guest satisfied.

As regular guests qual we the staff and they know us. If we check in, then we are at home. We never a problem had, because we feel comfortable in the circle of our friends and make our thing. The language skills have general deteriorated, which probably because of the small number of german holiday-makers is due. Everything is otherwise alright and a small tip even manages mountains to move. The new management is positive effect. The complex is clean and well maintained, but ageing.

The animation was hardly detectable. As soon as anywhere and possibly work be made could, were the ' entertainers' disappeared. We book always the same room and we found it large enough. Mostly are to our appointment only a few guests there, and we found that very good. As long-standing regular guests have also the ravages of time not hidden and we believe a comprehensive renovation does good. The guests are mostly middle-aged (+ 50) and the french-speaking area and also have their own characteristics, which we but refreshing find.

The hotel has immediate access to the beach, but the access to the sea was a bit difficult. You have to know where the stones are. There was also a jetty from the flchwasserzone leads out, but the storm suffered had. There the area quite littered, of the beautiful hotel grounds and garden hardly on the resort to leave. It is not worth it. Only the cheap phone calls we already times in the middle town. If you must, then take a taxi, is the price before and drove to zarsis. We had all-inclusive and needed from outside nothing.

Nice large room. Beds are 2 times 2 meters large but hard as concrete. We had tv in the room. Safe must be rented for 1.50 Euro on the day. Allegedly we had view of the sea, we but a clippers have done with. Have once a few branches bent that you could sit. Was on a lot balconies so. Complaints were consulted, but did nothing. Probably, because we German were.

Food was typical of the country, of inferior quality. As described above were some tables not nice to look at after leaving.

As you staff way so give it the back. We had a very nice waiter who tried very hard to please us. However if you saw as the french and lybianer leave the table, I would have been as waiter also no more desire to be friendly. Mountains from food not to eat but simply on the table were distributed. Most said they could not a German from the staff, but I think they have every word understood. Room was always nicely prepared. Friendliness at reception was the last for a German, is in the middle of the conversation away and is a dumb is possible.

The whole entertainment was in french with a few broken German words. Have already many animations seen but it was by far the worst.

A very nicely located hotel with a large room. Condition the african standard. The complex was well maintained from the staff, unfortunately there were lots of guests the trash as cigarettes and other just left. We had all-inclusive, which was also good. The whole hotel was almost only french and italians, hardly German. As German was short the room shown, the french and italieneren the red carpet this!. Mixed age

The hotel lies in a very quiet corner. Direct access to beach which is very beautiful. Just 300 meters you have nice shops. The travel guide offered excursions our own into your hand taken. 1/2 price! Are out of the hotel and we took a taxi (driver name Abdul! Simply brilliant the man). Are half a day with him on the way for only 15 €per person.

The room is spacious and also the bathroom for two women more than enough. Every room with rinrt air conditioning equipped, It is a tv and for a fee also a room safety deposit box available. The mini bar with order refilled. Either are provided with the rooms over a small terrace or a small balcony. Here but easily 2 chairs and a table. The rooms are always clean, even in the verstecktesten corners here thoroughly cleaned.

Since my mother ( because of previous reviews) was feared, the food would be not really well, we are of course especially noticeable been. But the befürchtugen were in vain. There was daily changing dining at the buffet and above all was here typical of the country cooked. But also pizza, fries, fish fingers & pasta was to find-so something for everyone. The food is always fresh prepared, at hygiee it does not lack. Can be eaten in the restaurant or on the partly covered terrace before.

Despite some pushy men ( with two travelers women in such a country the rule) may have the service not be sued. The head waiters were very friendly and attentive, and also the bar staff has already after the first night the preferences of the guests known. The staff speaks fluent arabic & french. German here is even better understood as English. The cleaning of the rooms always worked perfectly. If something was missing, it was immediately when requested. The hotel offers a laundry, as well as child care at.

From early until late at night there is a animation team available, that-and afternoons diverse sports offered ( for example aqua gym, steps, water polo, darts, archery, bechvolleyball etc.). Every evening a mini -disco and show the entertainment with varying issue. Here comes so never bored. Then can hotel's own disco further celebrated and dancing. The saubete pool invites you to swim around afterwards a cocktail or a coffee at the pool bar to allow ( everything all inclusive). In the afternoon then also ice and crepes were offered. Showers are around the pool and on access to the beach available. The loungers are always clean and each evening properly lined up. Sometimes you can by the pool a bit cramped together, depending on the number of guests. But it is always a free beach chair, no matter, wether at the pool or beach. At the beach is each par loungers a feast installed sun screen available.

The hotel's location is great. With its extensive complex the currently about 300 present guests, without lack of couch or even line up on food buffet comes. The cleaning staff is not very efficient, however everything was always clean. Itself the chairs at the beach will mehrmas on the day are cleaned. The majority of the guests are french. Nevertheless also, next to the German, Italian and swiss to find.

The hotel is approximately 1 hour away from the airport. However mind this at all, as the trip there and back such a view to the country gets. The beach is right in front of the door. There are how depending on season seegrasberge available, however this cleared & if it disturbs, which can the sea through the hotel's own jetty. Excursions are from the hotel or tour operator directly offered, however you can also simply onto the street go. Here the whole day taxis with German-speaking drivers are required, the one gladly the sights of interest closer to bring.

Very nice, well-kept complex with lots of palm trees. Very ungewöhlicher oriental hotel building, outside and inside with attention to detail built. The guests were mostly french and italians, the rest: german, dutch, english u. other.

We wanted a relaxing holiday and the hotel was perfect for this perfect. Nice, long beach for walking go. In the town there are some shops but otherwise not lots to see. You can but some nice go on excursions, for example Djerba We have a 2 day trip into the desert and the mountains made... Very recommendable!

The rooms was nicely big, however received us on arrival an almost intolerable odor, the breath nahm. I thought not, I find that this 2 weeks can bear. It is a mixture of modder and toilet-sewage. You have the feeling, that the whole facility rots. The terraces and entrance door could only my husband opening, the castles hakten so, that only with violence open. The bathrooms- and toilet-door could not at all close, they were totally warped. Is of course not very pleasant if a the toilet goes...

Outstanding was the local kitchen. Very diverse and good, especially for guests with a sweet tooth may like. Excellent. Bother us, that the two hot plates, on which fish etc. Fresh prepared were, only in use behaved as already the guests in the restaurant were. Because of this you had to long wait until the court is ready and it formed long queues.

After tipp is the staff very friendly. You should right from the first day make. At the front desk we gave no tip: unfriendly, on a complaint we had to 6 reminders 4 days wait. Basically from the staff french spoken, only a few a few words of German, no English. The cleaning of the rooms was sufficient, the bathroom was mildewed, however were daily the towels and bed sheets ( pillow, blanket) changed. The 1st day we wanted for the cleaning lady 5€ on the table and my husband, 6a 2€ -piece in the drawer for you then right time as tip for the waiters etc. bereitzulegen. They were also promptly after the cleaning of the rooms way. I reported this at the front desk and said: the cleaning lady gets during our stay no tip more, the itself served. Comment: 'okay'

The beach is as I have already mentioned a nightmare. There is a jetty built, on the you could further go out and over a ladder into the deeper water, but also this area was morning at low tide about 1.30 meters deep and with buoys in pool size pegged. At high tide, you could well swimming, if you seaweeds like it. To the pool I can unfortunately anyway not really positive say: only a very small area was with a depth of 1.30 suitable for swimming. Some schmierten is thick with suntan creams and went straight to, still with a white layer on the skin, the pool. A lady drove even with a rolling walker to pool. Was as mentioned from zehentiefe up to 1.30 meters. I think the already disgusting. There should be the lifeguard but instructions. But there are wonderful shade of olive trees and palm trees and of course lie is in sufficient number of.

The hotel complex is lovely, I had rarely such a beautiful architecture seen. It is much to feng shui. The hygiene is enough. The tables with of the pool bar you had to itself wiping, they were with a günsten bemusterung mistake as the dirt does not see. We had all-inclusive and were very satisfied so that. Even the red wine was good! Very pleasant guest structure: German, french, arabs. No russians! What the age not particularly good.

The complex is directly at a fine sandy beach. However there are up to 5 meters high algenberge bouffant the stink. The whole beach is dirty. However 200 meters left there is a beautiful well maintained beach, but who wants to at 40 degrees as far as walk? A few stores were the hill - 300 meters - and then turn right. The town of zarzis is about kilometers away, costs with the taxi 2 to 3 Euro.

Size of the room enough. Air condition worked of 14 days only 5 days. We had most of the time homey 26 to 28 °C in the room. Fridge disgusting filthy. We didn't use it. Problems with mini -ants, through holes in the tile joints from the balcony reinkrochen -everything sweet, which one in the evening are left, was on the next day black. Rattan furniture in the room disgusting, full of dust and dirt, mattresses worn out. With the shower you could between luke warm and scalding choose.

Very good cuisine, varied. Giant cake buffet with super -cakes. The restaurant itself was very clean, dirt was immediately. Unfortunately there was rather rarely the local specialties ( from time to time Couscous, briks ).

Front desk clearly overburdened - example day 1: due to the lack of air conditioner and 28 degrees in the room we wanted at least a extra-bed sheet ( only had a common). Only after 4 (!) hour, 3 extra-call and finally my personal appearance at the service counter and my refusal, to disappear before I did not get I could then the sheets finally in. Also on the instruction, that the air conditioning wasn't working and they a technician chic should you again and again with always new excuses put off. My tip: if you want something done want, do not call, but directly to the front desk and stay there, until something in the launch. Apart from that rather the save time. Waiter and kitchen staff for this very friendly, quick and competent, otherwise clearly fremdsprachenkompetenter as the receptionists. Cleaner very friendly, cleaning of the rooms very poor-but the fairness must be mentioned, that with rattan furniture and poorly verflugten terracotta -tiles ( in which partly still hair from the previous guests stuck) with a simple mop also not at all was possible.

Very extensive animation team was during the day unfortunately as good as non-existent - from time to time time' volleyball play 'or' archery' proclaim we found not really enough. Evening entertainment only in french.

Odyssey resort is a massive complex, several building distribute themselves in a well-kept garden area. Guests in September to about ever 1/3 tunisians, frenchmen and italians, a few German, czechs and dutch. 99% the vacationer are over 60.

Odyssey resort is located in the nirvana. At the beach walking was due to debris (tyres, preserved, etc. In the sea directly in front of the hotel) and piled seegrasberge (in 2 week only once, in other words one day before our departure were cleared) hardly possible, the entrance into the sea so the ' eierlauf '. The rooms were surprisingly big and spacious, however older and worn ratanmobiliar. Bathroom and toilet were separated, what we in still no hotel up to now experienced. Cleaned every day, change of towels was also every day. Air conditioning worked great and was very silent. In the closet there was a safe, the 1,50 Euro per day cost. We had a balcony and would have a wonderful view on the pool and the entire area, there is not a massive palm davorgestanden \u263a

In the main restaurant ' la grotte was breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything was also here really clean. For breakfast it was already the most delicious things, various juices from the machine, the however not all tasted, freshly squeezed orange juice, had to be paid (2,50 Euro), coffees, croissants, different pastries, cookies, cakes, baguettes, flatbreads, rolls, toasts, marmelade, different quarks and spreads, tomatoes, gherkins, olives, omelets, crepes, eggs in all variations, well done and grilled vegetables and, and, and... To the lunch and dinner were also massive buffet with different kinds of meat, fish, potatoes, pasta, sauces, salads, appetizers, main courses and kuchenbüfetts, desserts, ice... Set up, you can not at all describe everything, but it has for certain every something to eat found. Two times a week there was a theme night with music. A snack-bar there was also by the pool, you also with bathing suits could eat. There was pizza, sandwich, spaghetti, tagliatelle, fries, salads, ice and crepes.

The service in the hotel was perfect, you just have to know, what works and what does not. On the first evening we were our waiter a very generous tip to, with the please, we would have liked to every evening the same table for six persons. We had fourteen days our table and stood for each evening our desired drinks on the table. , just great and we had every evening a table :-). Also our' room boy' got a good tip and the rooms were always top clean. A doctor we didn't need it, but there were always two doctors in the hotel present. What the communication concerns, the official language is french, which most also spoke, only we do not. But also with German and English you got without any problems further. Up to a few exceptions the staff were very friendly and accommodating, it is not free, as in the forest in calls, so echoed it back...

Activities were only in french and Italian language, which didn't bother us, since the animations not loud and pushy. In the hotel there is a disco, but that hardly visitors had, as probably outside of the complex a gave. Also there was a kids club, however also only in french. Loungers there were at the beach and at the pool each quantity and shade donated the countless palm trees and olive trees in the extensive and very well maintained complex.

This circa with 350 beds, in the maurischen style constructed hotel we have two weeks wonderful, relaxing vacation spend. The hotel lies directly at the sandy beach, the hotel area, except for some seaweed, on the whole clean was. Away you at the beach from the hotel way, it was extremely dirty. The beach is partly rocky, therefore there was also a jetty use, some meters into the sea goes in and so the entrance into the water relieved. The next town, zarzis, is about kilometers away and comfortable with the taxi, or by horse-drawn carriage to reach. For the coach were per person 25 €! Requires, regards to Momo... The price acted for 15 €down, which Momo half a heart attack brought, but the tunesians want bargain.
