The lanka princess is a nice hotel, with about 110 rooms, on the long beach of beruwela, where the bentota river in the indian ocean leads. The first impression is not impressive. But behind a simple facade presents a grand hotel. The architectural concept is well durchdacht. The lanka princess is surrounded by the palm-fringed beaches of beruwela and bentota and offers full Ayurveda-treatments and an outdoor pool. Day trips can be arranged at the tour desk. If you in the hotel wish to stay, you can in the library reading books or dvds look. The hotel also provides laundry ... services and a 24-hour front desk. Wifi is in the lobby for free, otherwise you could, depending on demand, a map to use to acquire. We had the hotel the loose stay at the end a trip. We were not aware that the hotel on Ayurveda treatments specializing in. It was therefore we initially weird that lots of people as martians walked, with green einheitsbekleidung (smock), nearly as in a sanatorium. All of the air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a big balcony or a terrace with beautiful views of the resort or the sea. Also a satellite tv - a mini bar and a safety deposit box are provided. The hotel features rooms of the categories, comfort, superior and suite. We had a room the superior category with about 45 square meter 2, made a very new impression, extremely clean, very quiet, with a large walk in shower, super balcony and with a view of the pool. So a complaint to find it impossible. Furthermore you have the possibility to choose between various mattresses (hard or mittelhart), different blankets, pillows (soft, moderately, hard or neck cushions), various schlafarten : •ceylonisch (windows and inside door open, exterior door, mosquito net, sound, without airconditioning); •southern european (windows and inside door open, exterior door, air conditioning, ceiling fan on, without mosquito net, but with geruchlosem mosquito coil equipped); •american (all the windows and doors, air conditioner turned on). The batahira restaurant serves regional and international dishes, both at the buffet, as well as à la carte. Specially prepared Ayurveda-dishes are also available. Vegetable cocktails and fresh fruit juice at the lobby bar and of the pool bar nehmen. The international restaurant was behind the expectations. We had a few points of contact with the front desk. On arrival we were given a refreshing drink is served.
