We booked two double rooms, first we were disappointed that we 2 rooms were bumping into each other, and not next to one another. When we had moved into our room but we knew about the reason. We have 2 corner room with window in two directions. The rooms were identical, were very spacious and with safe, refrigerator, large flat screen TV and coffee maker very well equipped. The bathroom was also bright and nice, although a little small.

The breakfast buffet was more than adequate by American standards, there were lots of different breads. What German missing here are rolls, and cheeses and cold meats. But, since this is not common in the USA, you can it didn't really blame ... The Café and the omelets were delicious.

Service overall was very friendly. Valet parking, check-in, breakfast, auchecken and bag storage on the day of departure after check-out to check out in excellent working order. As far as the cleanliness of the room we had nothing to complain about

The hotel is quite large and has not typical New Orleans style you in the smaller hotels right in the French Quarter could experience. This is the price to be fair, especially the rich complimentary breakfast, and for only $10.00 surcharge included valet parking make this a really good tip!

The location of the hotel was ideal! In just a 1 minute walk and cross the Canalstreet Boubon is located at the western end of the street. At the same time hotel but far enough away from the clubs, to get a quiet night's sleep. The green tram stops in front of the hotel, so a trip in the Garden with no trouble Distrct can be carried ($1.25 per ride). The red tram is be reached within 1 minute, because they are on the Canalstreet runs.

I had a studio room ("king study") with a king size bed and a sofa bed, which doubles as. When booking I was the "have a preference., a room in the upper floors. My corner room was on the 10th floor at the back of the hotel away from the traffic. There was no noise from the outside, and also from the neighboring room-to-room noise. Due to the fact that the hotel was built in a historic building, was studio rooms have large height, and also the layout was generous. In a closet were a TV (32") with cable TV, fridge (empty), microwave and a safe-deposit box to find, iron and ironing board, as well as of wardrobe space. Floor is comfortably spacious, there was plenty of free tables. You also get coffee during the day in the breakfast room or tea. In addition, there is no service in the restaurant at the hotel. Quick check-in without problems. Prompt valet service. If I each 10 minutes before departure after the car 10/05/06, then the car was then always front of the hotel entrance. Immaculate room cleaning.

At Canal Street changes the burbon street from Carrondelet once you get your name and means. The hotel is situated 1 ½ block from Canal Street. You are within walking distance to less than 10 minutes in the touristic interesting part of the burbon Street. The French Quarter is from the hotel on foot. Carondolet Street is a one way street car so you can not directly by the Canal Street wise drive. The hotel entrance is right in the same direction as good superb, look but the tram. Get with google maps in the satellite-view a first impression of the situation. With street view in Google Maps you can be in the hotel and explore the surrounding area. From the hotel to the New Orleans Amtrak station (Union Passenger Terminal) it was about 1.5 km, to Louis Armstrong airport was about 25 kilometers.
