Only few minutes on foot from the french quarter is the Hampton Inn very centrally located. Our room was huge, a double bed, a seating area and a large work desk. In addition to a spacious bathroom. The furnishing but already seen better days and looked a bit shabby. The view from the window (as i remember it was the 10 floor) but it was disappointing. Our window was into a backyard addressed, the from high-rise buildings surrounded by was, a view was therefore nothing to see. A shame! The breakfast was, typical hampton, in a simple buffet form with ... papiertellern and plastic cups. But there was even one-two hot dishes. New Orleans is a really very nice city, the Hampton Inn cannot match. read hotel review

The hotel has officially 2 star and offers free Wi-Fi. It is one of the first skyscraper new Orleans with 187 rooms and accordingly 'old'. In the morning, there was a free newspaper USA Today. read hotel review

Our room had carpet, tv, air conditioning, an ironing board and iron, Clock radios, telephone. Furthermore we had a microwave in the room. The rooms were very badly soundproofed and the heater/ air conditioning stank somehow... The bathroom offered a shower cubicle, hair dryer. And was nice and bright and big.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right at the French Quarter; about 395 meters to Bourbon street, about 1 kilometer to the ferry terminal the steamships, options for shopping in direct proximity. Even a subway station is nearby.

The hotel is quite large and has not typical New Orleans style you in the smaller hotels right in the French Quarter could experience. This is the price to be fair, especially the rich complimentary breakfast, and for only $10.00 surcharge included valet parking make this a really good tip! read hotel review

We booked two double rooms, first we were disappointed that we 2 rooms were bumping into each other, and not next to one another. When we had moved into our room but we knew about the reason. We have 2 corner room with window in two directions. The rooms were identical, were very spacious and with safe, refrigerator, large flat screen TV and coffee maker very well equipped. The bathroom was also bright and nice, although a little small.

The breakfast buffet was more than adequate by American standards, there were lots of different breads. What German missing here are rolls, and cheeses and cold meats. But, since this is not common in the USA, you can it didn't really blame ... The Café and the omelets were delicious.

Service overall was very friendly. Valet parking, check-in, breakfast, auchecken and bag storage on the day of departure after check-out to check out in excellent working order. As far as the cleanliness of the room we had nothing to complain about

The location of the hotel was ideal! In just a 1 minute walk and cross the Canalstreet Boubon is located at the western end of the street. At the same time hotel but far enough away from the clubs, to get a quiet night's sleep. The green tram stops in front of the hotel, so a trip in the Garden with no trouble Distrct can be carried ($1.25 per ride). The red tram is be reached within 1 minute, because they are on the Canalstreet runs.

Hotel with 187 rooms in the first tower, built in 1903, in New Orleans was combined apartment. The construction took place in 1995 to the hotel. The rooms are located on floors 4-14 The hotel entrance is also a much inter alia passage of the neighboring buildings. There you will find also during the day a food hall with pizzas and hamburgers. The hotel reception is the hotel-lifts in a Seitenraum. In the lifts you have to swipe your room key to the real floor. Internet access via WLAN is included in the room rate, as well as the extensive ... buffet breakfast. No pool, however, a fitness center. The hotel is only valet parking for $27 per night possible, the self-parking in the area should not be much cheaper. Can also be easily reached by car it is worth to the park & Stay package. Guest structure: especially tourists, Americans and international. read hotel review

I had a studio room ("king study") with a king size bed and a sofa bed, which doubles as. When booking I was the "have a preference., a room in the upper floors. My corner room was on the 10th floor at the back of the hotel away from the traffic. There was no noise from the outside, and also from the neighboring room-to-room noise. Due to the fact that the hotel was built in a historic building, was studio rooms have large height, and also the layout was generous. In a closet were a TV (32") with cable TV, fridge (empty), microwave and a safe-deposit box to find, iron and ironing board, as well as of wardrobe space. By the way the door of this wardrobe for the TV also look hanger bottoms (doesn't immediately recognized, what I had. Work desk with chair and electrical outlets, high speed Wi-Fi internet access without problems. Quiet central air conditioning, adjustable. Coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer. The studio room, bathroom, the furnishings were not very new, but well kept and clean.

The breakfast is included in the room rate as mentioned, there are also at the buffet hot breakfast items scrambled eggs. The breakfast room on the 4th floor. Floor is comfortably spacious, there was plenty of free tables. You also get coffee during the day in the breakfast room or tea. In addition, there is no service in the restaurant at the hotel. But then you find in New Orleans and also plenty of alternatives in the area.

Quick check-in without problems. Prompt valet service. If I each 10 minutes before departure after the car 10/05/06, then the car was then always front of the hotel entrance. Immaculate room cleaning.

At Canal Street changes the burbon street from Carrondelet once you get your name and means. The hotel is situated 1 ½ block from Canal Street. You are within walking distance to less than 10 minutes in the touristic interesting part of the burbon Street. The French Quarter is from the hotel on foot. Carondolet Street is a one way street car so you can not directly by the Canal Street wise drive. The hotel entrance is right in the same direction as good superb, look but the tram. Get with google maps in the satellite-view a first impression of the situation. With street view in Google Maps you can be in the hotel and explore the surrounding area. From the hotel to the New Orleans Amtrak station (Union Passenger Terminal) it was about 1.5 km, to Louis Armstrong airport was about 25 kilometers.

We had the largest rooms throughout the trip. Great central location, 226 from Carrondelet once you get, New Orleans, LA, United States‎ - (504 ) 529 -9990‎ - only a few meters away from the frenchquarter Canalstreet and from Borbon Street. About 10m from the hotel entrance is the bus stop green tram direction St Charles into the Gardendistrict with its old beautiful villas southwestern decor. Get off Washington Ave and turn left on cemetery in the past Gardendirtrict. Stroll the Colisseum Street, then about Jackson Ave back to the St. Charles Ave. Please don't be put off by tram ..., if the first in the opposite direction outside the hotel. The trams once around the KAMEN karee 2-3 and then in the right direction. Important: $1 50 cents per person each way ready stop - there is no change back! read hotel review
