Old hotel very dirty moldy and so on deluxe = dirty bath tub instead of normal shower!? Also had standard room! (better than deluxe, but more noise) Ayurveda = just a joke the special brazen rip-off! On day 1 we wanted to all inclusive ayu treatment book on site. My offer was 50' 000 lkr extra charge= about 380 chf. Luckily was the far from enough! To be precise 20' 000 lkr = about 150 chf.
Training of the ayu staff = 0% according to confirmation of the ayu doctor with diploma which he was not wanted to present (could). ...!? The buffet was very simple, in the most less food made for. Very inconsistent on statements of the staff. Pineapple no ayu but not always! On my question, whether i beer can consume = alcohol absolutely 100% frowned on prohibitions and just in restaurant Aida expensive to enjoy. On 30 december the question all the guests, whether we new year's eve a bottle of wine deliveries. I refused! On 1 january evenings wanted a visiting couple brought the open bottle of wine ready consume from the manager strict was prohibited, because yes absolutely 100% nothing alcohol was announced.
On 28. and 29. december was beside estate disco with dj announced. Around Base of a very special kind. At two days ended the spectacle to about 5.30 am. The volume amounted to about 140 db = estimate. Our skin and window actually vibrated the whole night. Absolutely no sleep possible. In the hope that a little too steams i am personally about 20 pm to disco and asked a bit silent to acted. To midnight i went to the front desk with the manager to clear up which possibility is, that something silent could go. Answer we can do nothing! 4:00 on i tour operator called around me complaints. Conversation on the next day with manager and tour operator. The manager offered the whole week without penalty up back reimburse to leave, as we the hotel wanted to change.
Towels only on insistence changed, or simply again in the bathroom put up to dry. Towels were in the evening collected and neatly folded at this on the next day back to the guests to spend and this again picked you on the 2. day again. The towels-towels meadows tastes other sweaty persons on, as well as massage oil the rough sort of.
So we had to stop the last 3 days in the Aida still bearable. The management the environment to love the towels but several times to use and not every day wash to leave. Perfect for stinky laundry. There were still 3 days canceled without penalty up. I 100% not satisfied with this task, because i resigned and as quickly as possible the hotel to leave, in the hope it again great to have. read more

If you don't need action and in a 'wellness hotel' let yourself be pampered would like to is in the right place here. We have no cure but us nevertheless very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and was pleasant for us, that the hotel not fully booked and most of the others guests a cure made, the simply also only relaxation wanted. Our room was on the ground floor very quiet to the garden back. The garden with the pool is a peaceful oasis and if you want to do more, the in the direction beach the facilities of ... the large bentota beach -hotel use. A tour of 2a 3 days on the south of the island is very recommendable. We were privately with a very nice travel guide on the way, costs a bit more but is worthwhile definitely. Itself rent a car should be very, very relaxed driver (completely chaotic driving is on the left). You can also passes calmly times for one walk on the river or through the villages and of the often very pushy ' tractors' discourage. read more

This was my 6. Stay in Sri Lanka. Aida for the first time. Very pleasant treatments. With 21 hotel guests is peace pre-programmed. Staff very quick. Doctor will take a lot of time for its patients. For interested amateur chefs even kochvorführungen in things ayurvedische fare offered. In this 14 days very relaxing. Recommendable for vacationers the really a ayurvedakur to make want. Who more excursions plans, should another type of holiday choice select. read more

If the partly rude and unfriendly manager were not, I would my vacation as fabulous. On my arrival I had the feeling, it would be more manager as guests available. Have no Ayurveda made and can not judge. The pool was the cleaning of the rooms and the tasty vegetarian food. Very reluctant to you can see the hotel management, if some guests at mealtimes to- sammensetzen and also on own fist something undertake. One of these so-called manager had I even scold leave, because I, as Sri Lanka Connoisseur, everything on own fist, and I some guests voluntarily joining. ... In short: price the from the hotel offered tours to normal and at least half the rumlungernden manager into the desert chic! read more

The hotel convinced with friendly staff, only the many manager are hardly pigeonhole.
The rooms are very spartan. The whole area is located on the bentota river not for swimming is suitable, since he bit dirty and crocodiles live in it. To the beach it is then about minutes by the hotel Bentota on the other side of the street.
The location of the hotel is from there was cheap, since one in less than 5 minutes the locals through train Sri Lanka for about 80 cents can be used. We have no Ayurveda treatments used however from other vacationers ... very much positive heard.

Approximately 40 rooms, in August half full, informal atmosphere, room good three stars, cleanliness ok. Hygiene of the treatments acceptable to us, as the treatments in the spa is very good and individually. Very good value for money. Beautiful, well maintained garden. Altogether a local hotel. To read it was quite dark both in the room, as well as in the hotel rooms. Leselämpchen carry forward!
We had all-inclusive and except for tips no money needed.
There were all age groups represented. Many individuals sowaohl women as well as men, the cure made. read more

Who however Ramba zamba searches is in the wrong place. All employee were always very accommodating and eager to make sure that the guest feel comfortable. read more

We were with the hotel fully satisfied, but since we didn't Ayurveda treatment made is the food very monotonous. Every day rice, lunch fish and evenings chicken always the same, no alcohol only flat water.
But you can over the street and to the hotel-restaurant good food and there was alcohol and other drinks. It is worthwhile excursions and nearby it can be also good shopping. The best of course was kendy (elefanten-waisenhaus). What was a bit negative was that every the hand and wants money.
So all told we were with our vacation satisfied. read more

I have in the hotel a Ayurveda-Cure made. With the treatments and staff I was very satisfied. Disturbing were the' normal' guests, often their displeasure over too few entertainment and the ayurvedic food expressed. Otherwise these were guests often very loud, which is not for relaxing contributed.
The hotel complex is very nice. You consists of two buildings, by a street are separated. I had a room with a view of the river. The room was spacious, but basic ( safe and small tv with only 3 programs). The room was twice cleaned daily.
The dining area is outside, next ... to the beautiful pool. So there was no air conditioning. The waiters were generally friendly and helpful, but very slow and the language skills (German, English) were very limited. The food was varied, but only or Ayurvedic and therefore a bit of getting used to. The choice of meals was adequate. At drinks there was just water, coffee and tea.
The from the hotel offered activities ( Yoga, village tour, bbq) were only irregularly carried out. The information on this ( for example time) were very poor. Even the hotel staff knew with the offer not enough.
The environment of the hotel was for my taste not really nice. Luckily is located close to the hotel a small, clean supermarket. Especially the pushy men, small trains-Drivers and beach boys were annoying and hardly abzuschüteln. The close to the hotel present sandy beach was great. You could because of the intrusive vendors but relaxed lay. read more

The Aida is a pure Ayurveda hotel with corresponding ayurvedian (many vegetable curry 's) meals and nothing for people, the a' all inclusive' vacation with fries, cocktails, beer etc. Are.' Ayurveda' is purely to recover for diseases, stress release thought, body, spirit and Selle again to reconcile. The great massages ( partly with 4 hands), Stirnoelgüsse, as well as less pleasant treatments are only a small extract from the Panchkarma in Aida. After completion of the Panchkarma -cure one bathes in a sea of lotuses and other fragrant exotic Blooms. The hotel is very recommendable for all, and your ... body a do good.
The hotel is open, so that there were always a light wind ( very pleasant) to feel is. The monsoon was in my travel time 14 May until 30 May only lacking. Partly very heavy rain, as well as strong thunderstorms merely at night. During the day it was largely sunny with temperatures around 30 to 33 °C. very high humidity.
An important tip for the hotel manager:

The hotel manager should definitely be trained, as you with guests deals. As' travel companion ' spouse to a Ayurvedakur my wife on it raved about. This was our 3 station in Sri Lanka. Instruction: I give this hotel as normal -tourist, not as a health spa patient.
Our room number: 112. Very small room -15 meters²,+ 4 meters² terrace ( at night many mosquitos!). If the rains would be at the room is needed - not recommendable. We had booked full board. Food completely to the Ayuvedakurprogramm vote, opposite the other hotels in Sri Lanka, much worse, something taste and selection regards. Friendly staff, beautiful pool. To the beach over ... the street and Bahnschine, then by the next hotel - around 400 meters- beach was unique great!, fine sand, no rocks, no mussels-ideal, water approximately 32 degrees ( Caution: Stream ).
Plus point: Wi-Fi free in the front desk area.
Summary: as Ayuvedaoase recommendable nonetheless- for normalurlaub not really. read more

The Aida-resort itself is rather small& informal - however it concerns with Aida now a 'group' (several hotels, restaurants, shops ). The rooms the resorts are located in 2 storey buildings, distributed in the garden/ pool-area and on the bentota-river side (separated by anrainerstraße ). Unfortunately there is no direct access to the beach - the (sometimes must strongly frequented ) main street cross - about 5 minutes. Hike. Furthermore at the beach no lie ready-made up for it the beach this faults anyway! Were now the third times in SL (before in beruwela/ Hikaduwa )-bentota -beach beats the other ... by cleanliness, latitude & longitude, no unpleasant beachboys, almost no tourists ( middle March). We stayed on ajuveda -features without-just wanted to relax. Summary: in any case recommendable! read more

The room was not very clean, but I must say that after depositing my problem at the reception the staff were very helpful. First thing in the morning my room was cleaned from top to bottom with the supervision of the manager. The staff are very nice and try to fullfil every wish. I had Ayuveda every morning which made it impossible to make big day trips. The treatment itself was very good, and the doctor and his team did a good job.
All in all the clenliness of the rooms was the only problem. I hope that the hotel ... manage to improve this problem as everything else was fine. Estpecially the friendliness of the hotel staff. read more

Very recommendable for a quiet condition. The hotel has a very familial atmosphere, so that singles immediately felt good. It was also, on the day of departure to stay longer in the room. Internet access is also available. The therapists were very professional and cordial. four times per week yoga is offered-as most July/August in only few guests were there, I used the nearly alone and had therefore 'staff training' with the competent Saman. I would recommend the hotel but really only for Ayurveda guests, as for example in the garden in the applications and herbal tea in a cozy ... get (may face packages or similar). Reviews, who complained about it, that you have to pay for fruit juices, so I can't understand-the service was with a cocktail and tourists like the communication in the clear. To all meals were great and special requests were also quickly implemented. Tours (for example after Galle) are very good with a taxi (for example, Raja-faces the bentota beach Hotel and is very pleasant and efficient; much cheaper than in the hotel) or Tuk Tuk to organize. Boating on the bentota river (you can do in the vicinity of the hotel very favorably on own fist) or Madu Ganga are great! read more

Very recommended are the Deluxe room, the size and the equipment in accordance with a four star category! Also the sea is also OK room, but small. The kitchen is excellent and voted on ayurveda totally! The staff is very friendly and courteous! read more

Lovely small hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and courteous, the room are for Sri Lanka-very clean. The food is on ayurveda and something could do with more variety, to drink there was only water and tea or coffee and the breakfast usually papaya juice. The superior room is to be recommended, as it was in the main building and it is quieter there than in the neighboring building, in which the standard rooms are. The beach is very beautiful and invites you to stroll extensively, but very often is referred to by locals, try a different excursions to the ... shops to make choices. For excursions you must be prepared on long roadtrips, because of the partly very bad roads is only slowly. Excursions were not booked through the travel agent on our part, but on private Rathu -tours ' (very to recommend, just on the Tuk Tuk-inscriptions see or inquire Rathu with the Tuk Tuk drivers) read more

Have us very well taken care of and comfortable.
Staff, excellent and doctors. Beautiful garden with a fountain. Room partly in need of renovation. Yoga and meditation offer. Partly from the hotel organised, common short trips.
Unfortunately not directly at the beach, but after crossing the main street in about five minutes, the bentota river. Some noise from the road and also from the train, which goes with horns several times a day. Depending on the location of the room. Very! Nice, German-speaking Tuk-tuks-drivers ' RATHU' 50 meters from the hotel right on the main road at the show. Organised ... trips also with taxi and boat.
