Good position close to main train station for someone staying the night between a flight and a train ride. Some traffic noise but not so much throught the night. read more

The first night cost because a messse more than twice as much as the 2... This is not comprehensible and bordered on rip off. Not pleasant. The tv didn't work and had initially sorted out are. Poor maintenance. The room was to thoroughly cleaned, all personal things were stocked. Unpleasant. read more

When the phone call teite me a staff of the at the front desk busy with the information about parking with, that the Maritim Hotel in Goethestraße a parking garage is. It should only 10, -€ / 24 hours costs. To my disgust, i the next morning 25,- € costs. So if the staff not better informed, then it should be no such information about parkhausgebühren make. I was really upset. Or we could have it at the front desk to report and another parking pass receive? I do not know, because this information i did not receive. All ... in all the stay was in the hotel ok. read more

I was rather surprised by the tiny room, and was very glad I was on my own, as even the suitcase shelf was too small for my suitcase and there was no other place to put it without literally tripping over it. The reception area was nice, and breakfast was good, but the room was disappointing. The carpet was badly stained, with big black stripes in places, and what was clearly the ghost of a very good Oktoberfest past in one corner. If you use the glass in your room, as well, don't expect them to replace it. It will ... stay dirty until you leave. But if all you want is a place to crash for the night, you might not care. Within easy walking distance of the train station, with all its satellite eating places, and not far from the Marienplatz. As a single female on my own, I felt perfectly safe walking to and from the hotel at night, even past the local sex shops. It's all busy and well lit. Just a small hiccup on checkout, as the duty receptionist did not realise I had paid for breakfast on checking in, but it was easily sorted. read more

I stayed one night at this hotel during a business trip. The service offered at this hotel is rather poor. First of all, the bathroom was not clean upon arriving. Some suspicious brown traces had not been cleaned. In the morning, I found that the hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. Even the reception lady promised that a colleague of her would bring another one immediately, I didn't get anything after 20 min. So I had to leave the hotel with wet hair for my business meeting. Besides that, the sound isolation is very poor in this hotel. I ... have been woken up at least twice during the night when neighbor guests closed the door. read more

We were to Wiesenzeit in the hotel, Check in was fast and smooth, there was the service for breakfast very friendly. Bad luck we had with the room ( Nr.211), because it was really small. One had over the bed rise, to its part of the bed at the window to reach. Because of the 'size' of the bath made we often dealing with the shower curtain. For over 240,- Euro a night the double room was also Wiesenzeit too expensive. read more

We could walk to the train station - about 10 minutes, and a comfortable walk to Marienplatz. The hotel was quiet, the staff helpful, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was simple but good. There were fruit stalls on the street to buy apples and oranges. Overall, a perfect choice. read more

Cheap and fine hotel for a few days. People at the reception speak English very well, but sometimes there where demainding and unfriendly. Hotelroom is fine. Clean but smoll. Everything was there. Price is good. read more

The location of the hotel is reasonable, since the relative proximity to center is of advantage. If you know, in which district you visited, you can here again. However you should, if you sleep at night, definitely not check in here. At night it can be very noisy. With partymachenden people and loud music until 5 o'clock morning must be expected. The complaint at the front desk at 3 o'clock in the morning, but for sleep to ensure, to no avail. There the rooms very stuffy and no A/C is available, you should the windows also not close, which however ... also not much more peace would have brought. The room service is not as it should. There were apparently only fast the beds and pillows fluffed the towels were changed, the room was not cleaned. Differents Crumbs and so on were to the service still in the room distributed. Serving staff at the front desk was inefficient with problems and complaints to deal. There was no compromise and no apology. Breakfast is however recommendable, good value for money. read more

The hotel is near the central/main train station and near a lot of restaurants. I don't know the area, which looked a bit dumpy, but the hotel was nice. The room didn't have an individual thermostat so we had to leave the window open. This wasn't good since the window was facing the street and I could hear people passing by (singing, laughing, etc.) all night. The shower had a bathtub which didn't seem to be friendly to short people - the tub is a bit high and I had to be careful getting out. Although, this seemed the ... be the case at other places with bathtubs. read more

We have the bargain price booked, there has value for money fit The hotel is rather old and has no particularly beautiful location. One is however in 5 minutes stachus or am sendlinger gate. The staff are friendly, the rooms are old but clean. read more

We will this hotel for our next holiday in Munich again. It is a well-maintained hotel and we felt very good. We had a rich breakfast buffet available. We thank staff for our pleasant stay. read more

The hotel was generally clean and modern. Given the room price for a double room, the rooms were uncomfortably small, and breakfast was not included in the price (despite other comparably priced accommodation we'd stayed in including breakfast). Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a number of miscommunications with staff - first we were told that if we wanted to have breakfast, we could do so, we just needed to pay at the time. When we attended breakfast however, we were rather embarrassed to find that we needed tickets from reception BEFORE attending - a matter not explained to us. ... The staff member in the dining room told us it would not be an issue, it would be put on our room tab (presumably to be paid when we checked out, 2 days later). When we arrived back at the hotel that same evening, our key cards would not open our door - upon reporting the issue, we discovered that we'd been barred due to the unpaid breakfast account! This was an embarrassing and discomforting matter and it would be beneficial if the conditions of stay and of extras were better explained to guests, before they are locked out of their rooms. read more
