Almost no wifi and unbelievable owner

Very nice hotel with almost no wifi connection. It was unbelievable for us seeing the owner of the hotel arguing that there is no big enough pipe for better internet in the area. It is about 2 wifi routers per floor which would mean a huge investment of approximately 1000 EUR but he would rather argue with guests using unbelievable arguments like small capacity pipe in the area. Well, in a more than 2000 m above this hotel you will find good wifi with far enough capacity for all skiers and at the cable car station not more than 700 ... m from the hotel where all skiers are taking the rest and many of them just browsing on their devices, there is a pipe big enough for hundreds skiers as well. What a surprise. Even in the hotel you can find FTP connectors in the room so capacity should not be limited for wifi at all especially if 5-15 guests were sitting every evening at the reception browsing on iPads and other devices where is the only wifi area in the hotel. Well, how would you call it in english or in any other language? Missing knowledge or a very simple lie? Whatever is the answer, my conclusion is clear, I will never come back to this hotel even-though this is the only thing/man I could not accept. read more

    All io, rather rustic, but everything clean and everything available; unfortunately the beds extremely soft, so my wife on the couch had to sleep; i have it work, but it definitely was marginal; from the 2. floor you have no good view of the slopes, will be on the 4. floor surely be better.

We are here for the 4. time. %blank% the rooms, as well as the whole hotel are spotlessly clean. The friendliness in the house from the barkeeper to the housekeeping staff everywhere to feel. The dinner is varied and very tasty. The breakfast is a four star superior house in the full extent do it justice. The way to the elevator is in 100 meters the shortest way, which i ever in a skiing vacation had. The children were after the dinner games room in good hands. The massage could my wife and i when Petra in the spa area ... enjoy. The only problem the place: there are no pubs or bars, where what is going on, but it was before the beginning of the vacation already known. read more

Great holiday in great environment, better is almost impossible. The rooms are clean and functional, the restaurant clean and with great service. Large selection of wines, pleasant and express staff. Nevertheless i professionally and personally often in top hotels to tourist, i had never had such a coherent hotel as the salburger hof in zauchensee found. The hotel inspired by a first class service from the perfect-trained staff, a áußergewöhnlich good cuisine in connection with a very well-stocked wine cellar ( someliere ), a interior design the luxurious atmosphere creates without also for disabled people inconvenient to be (i thought it was unbelievable but it actually goes). Even the ski cellar deserves the title unique, because also for the most delicate guest perfectly equipped. The hotel his class rather 6 ... stars! read more

Because i myself chef am, and not a falafel, i can only say, the food is magnificent, with much flair and love for the product prepared. You will feel and tastes, the kitchen hard, harmonious creations to offer. This kitchen the challenge, and the chefs the salzburger hof were right done, career as a cook road. Apart from the staff is from extraordinary kindness, is accommodating, is every wish, it is also in the service the smallest detail. The hotel is very clean, the whole decor is new and very well maintained. With about rooms the hotel has a pleasant size and makes a informal impression. Especially good we found, that the non-alcoholic drinks during dinner times were free and that one the food for walks legal from the breakfast carry forward was allowed (you got this extra at the check-in a bag around the rolls and the fruit carry forward to may). If necessary could one even drinks for on the way forward. read more

    Our double room ' goldnestl ' was nice and in very good condition. The size was for two adults and one child enough. The room was very clean.

    The gastronomy is the highlight of the hotel. The kitchen is excellent. The offered 4-course meals every evening something special. One gets meals, which one does not every day is. The quality is excellent. Also the service, the attention and the friendliness the gastronomiepersonals are great.

    The service in this hotel is really great. The staff's hospitality from the cleaning lady to the hotel boss are worth mentioning. The cleaning of the rooms was always on time and reliable. The child care the magic mountains program seems to be very good - especially for parents, your kids on vacation gladly times when you leave. We have service we didn't use it and can't say more about it. In any case is the offer very big ( from the football tournament over bogeschießen up to guided hikes is for all age groups and also for parents something for everyone)

    The pool is nothing special large, however for the number of present guests absolutely sufficient. The pool is new and very clean. As already described above, we have the supervised activities' magic montains' didn't use it.

    The hotel lies in zauchensee at the end of the valley. You can clearly see, that zauchensee a ski resort is. The place is almost only from hotels some of which in the summer not at all open. The location is however lovely. One is over 1300 meters with a magnificent view of the mountains. Otherwise it is a good starting point for walks. We liked it only disturbed, that from the hotel only two taverns reachable were, the open in the summer have. But that is also no problem, as you after a short drive away other wonderful hiking areas in the region reach can.
