We had tickets for a concert of Lenny Kravitz including night and were allowed our night at the Belvedere hotel in Locarno spend. We really liked the hotel. The greeting was very friendly and also parking (free of charge) were abundant. The room was brilliant furnished and we even had a view of the Lago Maggiore. The hotel lies somewhat above of the center. To Piazza Grande are approximately 10 minutes away on foot but you can also the funicolare take (especially uphill). We slept on very comfortable beds. The breakfast was in a very nice room with excellent view ... of the lake. The pool and the sauna are also very nice, a good view. We would have liked to stay a little longer. read more

Great hotel with excellent kitchen and a very nice spa facilities Great location in Locarno with lake view, a large garden and generous rooms ( superior ) Pleasant was for example that we don't extra bed needed, but the coach in the room to a really of high quality double bed open Left. As a family with one child, we had a nice, large room with balcony and direct view of Locarno and the lake. A crowded garden without screaming kids perfect. In the dining room we felt very comfortable. The food was very good and the breakfast buffet plentiful. The wines from the tessin tasty and good value. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We found our short stay at the Belvedere relaxation and can highly recommend it. read more

We enjoyed the stay in this prestigious and well-kept hotel. It was a relaxing time. The room with a view of the 'Lago Maggiore' was great. Breakfast buffet with extraordinary selection. Free parking space in the hotel area. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Stay was perfect. read more

' Welcome to the seniors 'the welcome text could be. In line with weak was the lifestyle at the resort. It was so unlovingly and sober, that the hotel was not able to inspire. The check-in and check-out were factual and correct but also without emotion, so that a relaxing stay here we would again. That certain something was missing from A to Z. Complimentary bottled water in the room there was none. read more

The hotel is located in a quiet area over the roofs of Locarno with a nice view of the lake and mountains. Sufficient Parking Spaces. Very good food and very attentive waiters. The guests were mostly seniors. Clean, large rooms. All in all a relaxing stay. read more

The Hotel Belvedere is located on elevated location with views of Locarno and the lake. It is also within walking distance in the city. Friendly and competent staff. Rooms and common areas are clean. The complex is well maintained. read more

We have stayed several times at this hotel. A detail evaluation think not necessary, as I have some time ago a detail evaluation and decision-making in this hotel since then nothing bad has happened. The hotel is in almost every respect only be recommended. It is the, what a four stars superior Hotel required.HCLFHLThe reason for our short assessment is the following: could the food always has to be commended, you could every day on the creations of our chef. For a short time does a new chef. The quality of the food has declined significantly, no trace of ... creations more. The new chef is missing the imagination and the joy of cooking. It is a 08.15-kitchen emerged, and the food is on the plates clapping and unlovingly, the eye eats anyway with. You could almost my shares way, the ingredients come from the casing. The sauces are mastig, after the starters is one of the hunger passed, so almost no longer needed the main.
