Small nice hotel, directly at the metrostation picoas. Really great you can walk out the door and already the stairs to metro down.
Rooms fairly new and clean. Wlan reception in the room (3. floor).

For new year's we were/new year in Lissabon and found the hotel for a city trip top! The location is perfect. metro-station on the doorstep! You can easily with the metro from the airport to the hotel drive (about 15 minutes). A 24 hours-ticket for the public transport only costs 6, -€. In a few minutes one comes with the metro to the center. (new year's eve from the Praça do Comércio to the hotel were on foot only half an hour!) On arrival, as well as departure we were just offered, to the check in or check out our ... luggage to store. The room was big enough and the bathroom great, with a bath. We had our room on the 4. floor, direction lateral road. You could the traffic hear, but not so bad, that you couldn't sleep. The breakfast was great. Breakfast room on the 7. floor, with a great view. The buffet had everything which one would like so pastry, toasts, bread rolls, cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs, muesli, cereal, yogurt, fruit, marmelade, honey. Hot drinks and juices gave it from the automat, but good. Coffee we, i can't say, but tea, choco and juices were great.
In any case the hotel we can absolutely recommend! read more

Binding at the public one traffic top (subway, bus, airport bus directly in front of of the hotel door!). One was quite quickly everywhere. With the bus is only the front got. We had a via viagem card to recharge, was problem-free and very simple - the card in every u-bahn station to buy and load (the machine can even german). If you don't mind walking, you can also without any problems on foot go, one comes so on many nice shops.
Breakfast: different bread rolls, toast, fresh fruits, yogurt, sausage, cheese. Juice, tea, coffee, choco - in any case ... sufficiently, we neither the tea the coffee tasty, so mostly only eaten and a juice drink, a good espresso you get in the town from about 60 cents!
Facilities of the hotel: they have everything that you need, we even got a free access to wi-fi for one week (front desk in the room but it was almost not available, in the breakfast room and foyer it was really good). In the foyer there is a computer (1 € about 15 minutes) to quickly get a bit on the internet after to see. Our room was on the 5. floor, with the window closed very quiet. The bed was rather small for 2 people (1,40 metres). The room complete is rather from the small variety, but everything you need, closet, safety deposit box (2 € per day), luggage parking area, desk and chair, 2 bedside tables, tv, 1 windows, air conditioning, mini-bar, bathroom with a bath and shower, bidet, hair dryer. We except for sleeping but hardly in the room anyway.
In summary the hotel i can quite good, did has everything you need, is clean, offers however no large luxury.
Lissabon is a nice city! The people are very friendly and willing to help. The food was magnificent. There is lots to see, there is something for everyone there! In the week before christmas we had in the average 12-17 degrees, on the day there has never been rained, at night it was the same temperature as the day. We fly hardly a 2 time where, but this city we will probably at least 2014 reunion. read more

Very clean, good service. International guests. It is only room with breakfast. The breakfast buffet is sufficient, you can feel satisfied. The coffee is terrible, but you can also tea making facilities change. read more

The hotel we can recommend. The rooms were properly cleaned and the laundry and change of towels took place regularly. A subway-station is right next to the hotel entrance and the bus station is 10 meters further. Who without a car in Lissabon is-which recommendable is- is in the hotel in good hands.
From the breakfast should not be too much to be expected, because it's not varied.

We were within a year altogether 17 days guest in this hotel. We felt very much at ease there. The location is great. Subway station on your doorstep. The aerobus stops also before the hotel door. In other words with the lines 36, 44 and 745 to the center great. Staff always helpful and speaks good English. Restaurant with a beautiful view on the area. Could almost have a 4. Stern deserves. Ideal hotel, at this beautiful city to explore. 70 Euro the night in the double room are negotiable and quite adequate. As our air conditioning went on strike ..., we received within 10 minutes a different room. If we Lissabon once again should visit, then guaranteed again as a guest in this recommendable hotel. Size of the room should rather as a single room rented be.
The French double bed with 1. 40 meters wide and only a blanket is only for newlyweds.
Tip: if you at the airport travels and a few days Lissabon explore wants, should the Aero bus 1 take, the right at the terminal leaves. The ticket for 3. 50 shall apply 24 hours in buses, Trams and various lifts/ Funicular (not metro). The aerobus stops directly in front of the hotel! read more

Can altogether no complaints. For a city break the hotel is well situated and everything is fast with the metro to erreichne. The airport bus and the sightseeing bus stop in the immediate area. read more

For a city hotel you can not have the same criteria, such as with a beach vacation. Expect from a city hotel we, that the rooms clean, the beds tidy and the whole reasonably priced is. This expectations the America Diamond's full fulfilled. The rooms are not special large-but as mentioned, we wanted only to sleep.
the breakfast was not outstanding, the coffee also not. But one is in any case sufficient full became, start the day. The breakfast area is beautifully located in the seventh floor, you for breakfast a beautiful view. the staff in the breakfast room is ... very attentive, the tables were always cleared away quickly, if someone was ready. The hotel is quite manageable and nice refurbished old building makes a tidy impression. The rooms distribute themselves over 6 floors, the breakfast room is on the 7. floor with beautiful view over the town. At the time our stay were especially spanish, as well as portuguese guests in the hotel, more german tourists seemed not in the hotel to be. read more

with this hotel one could as a city traveler no choice mistake make,
since this hotel has everything you need offers what you required.
the rooms are reasonable and the angespr. Clairaudience; well,
after a good food and the appendant one can get wine
ignore it.
Now for breakfast the selection of food is not great but
otherwise (if you are not weeks spends) reasonable.
there are under other scrambled egg and there is the possibility of itself toastens.
ONLY the coffee Ireland standard time awful (brutal from a
Billigautomaten). Tip at the outside the door the metro ... is
a small Bistro, where you can good the coffee book purchase.

For a city trip the hotel is well located and everything is fast with the Metro to erreichne. Street noise you can hear with the windows closed not! Air conditioning worked and the bathroom was very beautiful. breakfast is OK. Would re-book the hotel, but it was just a saver, otherwise much too expensive. This hotel is for a stay in Lisbon only recommend. Arrival from the airport, take bus number 15 minutes in 91. Bus stop and metro station " " picoas directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast was OK.

Good: smaller hotel with 60 rooms at six floors with the best public transport connections. Metro station and several bus lines outside tin the vicinity of the hotel. Furthermore, you can already in half an hour within walking distance to lots of tourist highlights within walking distance.
Negative: small selection at the breakfast buffet (1 kind of ham and cheese 1) narrow only 140 centimeter wide double bed, very small elevator for one to two persons + baggage.

It is a small, clean hotel with friendly staff, with adequate breakfast, without further dining, without leisure facilities. The hotel is located on a busy intersection with metro station and bus stop directly in front of the door, which we found very pleasant. Many sights and parks are also within walking distance.
