A great hotel, architecture particularly different, but very remote, unfortunately or good for ruheuhe searching. 3 pools and wellness spa with simply exaggerated prices. Very clean, also room and bathroom. Showers with a great view, only the step into the bathtub the shower is a bit inconvenient and not for older or disabled people possible. The size of the room is very good, could however a facelift stand, because the tooth of the time gnaws at all bathroom, room and also in the restaurant for example the chairs. Very good cuisine, diverse and fresh, always buffet. Leidermhat the dining room ... a kantinenflair because schallgeräusche of the guests and tables for groups of up to 15 man. The hotel isn't easy to find and but very recommendable. A comment would be that the guests not the monkeys on the terrace the room feed should. There are wild animals. read more

We were two nights in the hotel and were location by the sea, the hotel itself, the rooms and the atmosphere loved it. Unfortunately it was way too short and we were sightseeing in Dambulla, Sigiriya, and polonnaruwa, so that simply too little time the hotel was to enjoy. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in the whole hotel very nice. We are definitely coming again and then more time with. Very recommendable! read more

In the warm tropical morning before dreamlike backdrop of a group Monkey to be woken up and this from the bed from to watch, made the experience of nature perfect! read more

If you the incredibly bumpy dirt road along comes you hardly believe, that at the end a massive hotel is. The design and the furnishings were probably ahead of its time, because the reason already a bit older hotel feels like a design hotel with attention to sustainability from the year 2012. The buffet in the evening is very delicious and diverse. It is in the reason much, for example spa or riding in the area nevertheless the hotel appears to be very quiet and secluded.
Perfect for a few days relaxing. My total vacation I wanted to not spend ... there, as it is to me then nevertheless could be boring and the fantastic stalls Sri Lanka missed, but nevertheless definitely one of the most beautiful hotels in which I was so far. read more

For the situation in Sri Lanka this is a great hotel. You are right in the middle of the jungle. The hotel is hard, to take account of the environment. There are no environmental sins. See the showers you can watch the monkeys on the balcony of the room. In particular at the weekend the dinner is very good. Nearby there are a number of touristic sights from Sri Lanka. Nearby from the hotel you can 20 euros per person an elephant ride. read more

As already mentioned in the titel, we wanted to know how it's in this price range is the Hotel höreren. The hotel is recommended and we were surprised. Very friendly and helpful staff. To our surprise, we were given instead of the luxury room a spa suite (without extra charge), as the booked room category 13' 00 a.m. in order not. Only criticism with waiter service. As seems, not everything that the management control. Checking-in was quickly but the service left something to be desired (plates, etc.) read more

Natural and built in to a rock, disappears in Djungel. A front completely made of glass-you can August-August with wild monkeys in shower. The room is spacious, everything was very clean. The hotel has international flair. The buffet is huge-with various dishes as well as european also Very spicy. The service is very friendly and pleasant. The cultural triangle is good with the taxi in day trips to explore. Bird watching, Elefantenausritte , Djungel -trekking from the hotel bookable. read more

Beautifully located hotel in the middle of the green with view on a lake. The hotel looks from the outside not very appealing. But the room was beautiful and above all the bathroom. from the shower you can out look out of the window. You must always close the balcony, since otherwise the monkeys come into the room.
We were three days during our stay at this hotel and were absolutely loved it! It was the hotel with the most beautiful room (we were in two weeks 'time in six hotels). read more
