We (6 people, 3 generations ) were 5 days (new year's eve 2012) in this hotel and felt very comfortable. The hotel has a unique nice location along the hudson river on the opposite shore of Manhattan, so that we always a beautiful view of the skyline Manhattan had. In a few minutes with the path, the right on the hotel a station, at the wtc. From there you can on discovery of nyc again. read more

The hotel lies the hudson- uffer in the immediate area a path station (train, 1 station to Manhattan at every time of day and night). It is in the hotel quite loud ( noise from the lift, from the other rooms, past flying helicopters). We had the room first on the 2 floor below the front desk. At 3 o'clock early the carpet cleaned. On our request for the room changing only with many cushions response, s. h. We could limited to the procedures of the hotel must adjust and best the whole day in the hotel waited, until the ... other room space would be. There was enough free room until late in the evening (which the front desk admitted only later). We are then but to Manhattan and only at 21 o'clock back to the hotel and (oh wonder!) there was suddenly several free room to choose from. At the front desk was the friendly and helpful William, the more exception under the little helpful and arrogant front desk employees represented. Afterwards came the apology from the hotel manager with small snack, a bottle wine and restaurant-coupon for 20 Dollar ( nice guests with the bad service). Apart from that overwhelming view Manhattan and liberty statue. Better value for money as in Manhattan. Prior of jfk with the metro and the path extremely strenuous, so either directly to Newark flies, or the jfk take a taxi. We are from the hotel to jfk with the taxi for 100 Dollar dangers (flat rate on 'taxi king', the not far from the hotel are). read more

We were to second time in a row in the Hyatt hotel and were very satisfied once again. It has everything worked smoothly from the check-in to the dinner with a view of Manhattan. Absolutely great.
The path and the ferry to Manhattan are right next door and a small supermarket there was also. The path cost however extra per drive and Persin 2 $with his Urlaubsbudget still calculate should. Despite everything the location directly at the Hudson and directly at the WTC in Manhattan a good starting point to discover the town.
Room very big and equipped with everything. ...
The staff were always always helpful and eager to help and offer advice.
We would the hotel in any case book again. Four star for the proportion to Manhattan little money. read more

A very good hotel for cities, trips to new York. The hotel deserves full 4 stars, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The view of the Manhattan skyline is gorgeous. Very pleasant, for morning/ evenings not directly in the hustle and bustle of Manhattan to land. Nevertheless you can take the path train in 6 minutes (1 station, $2, -) at the WTC or with the ferry quickly in the Battery park or on the pier 17. read more

Had the hotel 90$ a night get. And on arrival an upgrade for 20 $Manhattan view get. What it meant, was room 709 in the almost top floor only the ballroom was and right at the front the Hudson area.
A truly bombastic views of Manhattan, even from the bed out!
rooms were top reasonable. And cleaning was daily thorough. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to airport at, but you not at all must use. Because in front of the hotel is a path station about 60 steps;- ) Exchange place!
so you can from the airport ... Newark with the 62er bus to Newark Penn station (1.50 $) and then take the path train direction World Trade center (2 $ Singleride 2 hours valid).
the buses drive at all terminals from.
to Manhattan is only one stop and you are at the World Trade center memorial, or via Newport station (change) on the 33th street (near Madison Square garden ) drive.
food should be booked in Manhattan or in the hotel itself, as you nearby no good choice.
You can go shopping in a small store two streets further.
negative. No free Wiki available. Costs 9.99$ per. And water 3 $. A shame
so to Starbucks or just the Wi-Fi Hotspots at different places in Manhttan use
(on Flatrion building, Rockefeller center, time Square, Natural History museum and so on ) read more

Located directly on the Hudson, directly opposite of Manhattan. Just a phantstische view during the day and at night. The rooms all have a more or less direct view of the city skyline and some (on the right hand side) also to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
the rooms are modern, with everything you in this category expected, equipped. The rooms and the bathroom were clean and commodious. In the bedroom we had 2 Queen beds a large sofa to chill out.
we have twice in the hotel breakfast. The food and drinks were class, only the offer( ... overall of fish, sausage and cheese) could have been a little more generous offer.
nearby are but also some good opportunities for breakfast.
right next to the hotel is the path underground in 4 minutes to the World Trade center in Manhattan. The tact varies between 5 and 15 minutes and 24 hours a day.
this was our second and certainly not last stay at the Hyatt Jersey city. read more

Super hotel! The hotel lies right on the Hudson in Jersey and has a one-time location and compared to hotels in Manhattan very good value for money. From our room we had (5. Floor) had a view of the skyline of Jersey (right), a view of the Statue of Liberty (straight), of the Manhattan skyline (left) and the Hudson river. The room and the bathroom were very large, nice and clean. The traffic connections there was also great. With the path train, right next to the hotel, you can travel under the Hudson and the World Trade center. Absolutely recommendable ... hotel, we didn't want to leave! ☺ read more

simply cool there, want to go back there exists a fitness room and a small pool on the ground floor. Breakfast simply good cost 12$ however therefor it is really value. The restaurant with direct view to ground zero and the Empire State building. 30 seconds walk and the underground station. 1 station and even the WTC station in 1 minute genuinely class. I can only recommend the people are totally friendly. Was there when the storm Irene there gewüstet had. The hotel for the people would be designed. So I think that is the best hotel, a big room ... with a view of the Empire State building. Sofa included everything. Really to recommend. read more
