Who at home at the highway lives will, if he as we a room with lateral view of the sea gets, comfortable feel. For us was the noise in the 4th floor side to Faliraki however, even with ear plugs, in night too high, also there the windows from simple glass and badly closed. We spoke in the lobby for a break on the beach side before, had but unfortunately because the utilization no success. To eat: we spend our last vacation in a Riu-hotel on Tenerife and gave the food, due to the variety and the quality a '6' ... - therefore can only a '4' consequences - unfortunately. The hot portion was rarely hot and too little varied. The theme nights, fish, Rhodos, Greece brought in cold ' part with salads and other products already variety. In the hotel lived, after our impression, too many German, French, Swiss, hardly any guests from the large state in the East., the were in the neighboring hotels direction Rodes City. It was a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. read more

The calypso beach is a real top -hotel. Great polite and friendly staff. Very very delicious food, there are absolutely nothing to fault. Ideal location for excursions, bus station on the doorstep, car rental (J & D) next door, water taxi to Rhodos directly on the hotel beach and taxis anyway at the constantly band past. Guest structure rather somewhat older ( however also not bad ) German, dutch, austrians, swiss, English and quite a few Russian-speaking guests. We will go again next year. read more

We are for the third time in this hotel and would definitely come again. The first time we were 4 years ago in this hotel and since then the hotel has not changed. We liked it very much, that the hotel very clean and that the staff is very friendly and a fulfilled all expectations. The hotel offers everything, what you on vacation wishes. Which I also recommend is a private trip into town Rhodos and Lindos, where many bays to visit. We felt a car rented and are both itself went for it. It was very nice there. We ... want to again with the staff for the equipped hotel and in this way beautiful greetings to the staff chic, the us again realized-) read more

The hotel is simple built and with blue glazing a little optically improved. The entrance area is normal, not unclean, clean also no highlight. We had a room on the 2. floor with a view of the street, which was not bad. What not at all is, is the hallway between the rooms. The gray carpet was wavy, worn out and totally gone through. Many doors were optically damaged, some inputs to the sides damaged. The rooms were apparently clean, there was no to moan. The pool we have not only because of the very nice prevent (for the stones ... directly at the entrance to the to the sea the hotel can't) not used. First of all, the loungers - hello Germany! - already in all early with towels reserved and then already two to three hours later, occupied and the pool is also quite neglected. The water was clear, however on the floor one already sees many lackplatzer. The a star hotel not be. Overall only all-inclusive was offered, which many of the mainly german/dutch/swiss guests (average age about 55/60 years?) Also good had used. read more

    For the waiters i have rather bad dialed, so here a bit better rating. The food was really nothing special. No variations and was partly the meat (no matter wether pork or fish) dry as the bread. The chips we have, if at all only in the ' mittags'restaurant eaten, as these in the main building of consistency rather spaghetti were. The food in the à-la-carte restaurant was was delicious! You can eat everything, but the hotel is now times 4 star... And the taste is better!

    Here i want not between rather bad and rather well have to choose. First... There were no operation at the tables. If we have time, is juice and water in advance at the breakfast table together, otherwise is everywhere self-service. Also the service was very mixed. In the main restaurant, at the front desk, in the bar was a waiter, a lady, the very pleasant were. At the pool bar speaks only the tips and in the ' mittags'restaurant is a smile or a kind word not to find. The rooms i thought that was always clean, but scrutiny i of course not.

    The animation was always very polite and tried for the guests to keep, which also not so easy is. The entertainment i give definitely a 'good'. The beach is great. The sand consists of fine gravel, the reiling were (we are talking about 4*) however only once in the entire week swept. The beach itself from the rough trash (cigarette packets...) Cleaned, only the loungers were again under the umbrellas too. Here definitely a 'good'. Internet... Yes, the hotel has a internet access. Since, where in other countries the wireless internet access is free, it cost in the hotel 10€ / day, or 50€ for one week! Sport: there was a gym, which three wheels, a multirack and two treadmills is. The multirack is in a good state, the weights should be the most athletes definitely rich-good! The bicycles i didn't use. The first treadmill could be for the software operation, but the tape is' finished ', that every touch on the left side strongly decelerates! The 2. treadmill could from the band was functioning, but the software will not. I was 8 time after about 1 minute from the band informed, that my workout now was over. But i had nothing touched. All buttons except start/stop and pace up/down did not work. As the band then ran, i chose a speed of 9 kilometer per hour to heat. Then i wanted for 1 minutes on 15 kilometer per hour increase, which also as expected worked. Without my involvement increased the treadmill in the short term to speed on 20 kilometer per hour! Luckily i had the eyes on the display and could at the legs and the band jump. I have the front desk informed, the technician had zero idea of the equipment, could only greek and tried 25 minutes to the bands around. I have my stuff and fled. - bad

Beautiful vacation for relaxing in October. We were positively surprised over the steady friendliness and the good German language skills of the staff. The complex was very clean and well cared for. Unfortunately was in October the possibility to go out rather limited, so we were very pleased a really beautiful hotel to have. The food was very reasonable and the evening entertainment really varied. Overall a very succesful vacation. read more

A great stay at the sea, a team of very friendly staff cared for a where they can. The hotel works a bit shabby, something from the cleanliness in the rooms and the restaurants again more than made up for it is. A stay in the hotel I can recommend absolutely recommend. read more

We would book this hotel again anytime! Friendliness was capitalized... Staff were always friendly and polite, that staff had always a smile on their faces! Wonderful vacation - despite hotel Calypso beach

To the background: was booked as a group of four friends for one week fun holiday, as we have already six times in different all inclusive-hotels in various southern countries spent there. Decisive for the booking was the extremely positive review on Holidaycheck. The hotel itself is ( as most of hotel complex, which I Rhodos seen), already from the outside no beauty. Very simple architecture, a concrete block, a little funkiness going through blue balkonverglasung. The general state of the hotel and the hotel is poor, on the one hand by obvious examples, on the other hand by lack ... of maintenance. The falls with folding moved carpets in the hallways as well as to the ragged verspachtelten ceilings ( particularly impressive to see the lunchrestaurant), the shaky aufzugsbedienknöpfen, the dated seating in the lobby or farbabplatzern in the pool. I could still long continue, but as a conclusion is:I have no (all inclusive -) hotel in such a bad condition 4-star standard seen. read more

    Catastrophic, since actually no service is offered. I have never a hotel seen, in which I believe drinks for dinner itself had to get. Completely obvious there will be a massive on staff saved. Also in the outdoor area during the day and evenings no service, but only one to two persons the clearing of the empty glasses. A handtuchschalter for the pool area there is obviously also not (have a further service means ), but is regulated, that the maid, hinterherrennt and a change of ( briefmarkengroßen ) liegentuchs asks. With problems ( door left after the dinner not open) is amended as follows handled: until the caretaker could, is a whole night gone and we had to the night in another, from the hotel available presented room spend. Not quite as nice, without toothbrushes, kontaktlinsenmittel and similar. Neutral to positive: the staff at the main bar was quite friendly, the rest not unfriendly at least. Cleaning of the rooms reasonable and for whom it abroad is important: German can most employees.

    The tennis court and the minigolf area was in sufficient condition, the pool and the loungers as mentioned the condition of the rest of the hotels. The entertainment limited to the -minute cry out to volleyball or Boccia. Evening entertainment we didn't use and only on the edge received, sah however quite simply.

    Our urlaubsrettung - the proximity to Faliraki, since we were there our evenings spent ( as mentioned: fun holiday under friends). Great bar and club community comes alive, the taxi ride cheap and quickly (5 Euro, 5 minuten) Also nice: the beach. Right fine sand and the stones in the water do not require bathing shoe. Furthermore there are convenient water sports. Also, a day trip to Rodes city is possible and recommendable. The best with the water taxi or car. The chosen bus on the hinfahrt has about 45 minutes to the center used.

Overall a good vacation with great weather on a wonderful Island. The staff were always friendly, we had a lot of fun. However are here and there smaller things to, the hotel is good standard, but not great -hotel more. But I would definitely come again. read more

The hotel complex is medium sized and has 323 rooms. The condition the hotel is quite good, only the pool is already in need of renovation. The cleanliness the entire area the outside and inside was very ok. It were while we were there (last week of september and first week of october) mostly german speaking guests of different ages. The first week more retired the 2. week and more young couples and children. The calypso palace also mitbenützen. On the 4. floor there is the pool/restaurant/bar, you should definitely look at, especially in the evening the view is very ... nice. read more

    We have booked the best price room. These are not recommendable - very small (but for 2 weeks a larger room and per person circa 200 Euro pay more is not it! )! The bathroom was an isolence. The shower was so small, that you could hardly turn (with a normal figure!) And it always smelled of mold. The furnishing is not nice, but we had everything that we needed (except lots of space). Air conditioning always worked well. Tv there were also with a few german channels (ProSieben, RTL, super RTL, satellite. 1 and so on...) . Refrigerator was available, safe, hair dryer and telephone. The beds are very hard, but you can at the front desk after cushions questions, then it is somewhat soft. The cleaning of the rooms was done well. Towels are changed every day and it was only on the bed, then got one automatically new. Otherwise you have to stop directly to the cleaning staff and the towels exchanged.

    There was a main restaurant and a snack bar. In the main restaurant there was breakfast -, lunch and dinner. At the snack bar there was lunch and cakes. And there is an à la carte restaurant. There is a lobby bar, which is open only in the evening a pool bar (until 18 o'clock) and the snack bar. In the all-inclusive service are also various cocktails, iced coffee and ice-cream are included. The beverages generally were very good. The food however is not so exciting. There was always something you liked and it was every evening freshly grilled for example, but there are better. In the à-la-carte-restaurant the food was really very good. The restaurant was always clean. There are everywhere tip boxes for the tips.

    The staff at the reception was always very friendly and tried, as well as the cleaning staff! The waiters at the pool bar are rather annoyed seems... The waiters at the snack bar or lobby bar, however, were friendly. in the dining room the staff is also very friendly and helpful! It was always a bit of german or english.

    The entertainment is very good (during the day and also in the evening shows) and not intrusive! The evening entertainment was always alternating with the calypso palace, once entertainment and live music. Otherwise there is also a tennis court and the possibility to the table tennis. There is also a couple more other gaming (computer games for example) and gym or a sauna (where i never was). There is a few shops with the most necessary things. There was internet also. A disco in the hotel does not exist. The pool is way too small. Swimming only in the early if there is still no people in the pool are. In addition he was already in need of renovation. The beach is beautiful (fine pebble beach). The sea is crystal clear. You need definitely not bathing shoes, but it is certainly not a drawback. At the beach you can on the holzbrettern walk for example also to Faliraki. That is very nice over the beach. There were nice bars/taverns on the way up up to the harbor. In our travel time there were always enough chairs and umbrellas (chairs on the beach were free), but you have to get up early, as most already 7 the loungers reserve. We were always only at about half 8 and but also still got pool chairs. Showers are enough available.

    The hotel is directly at the beach. The next town is Faliraki and is in circa 20 minutes away by foot distance. In front of the hotel there is also right a bus stop towards the Faliraki and towards the Rodes City. The airport is also not far away. Shopping and entertainment possibilities there were 2 or 3 the hotels further (direction Rhodos) in a small shopping center (around 5 minutes away on foot) or otherwise by bus in Faliraki or Rhodos. Trip possibilities are offered everywhere. Definitely not over the tour operator book in the hotel! We stayed at the average between 45 and 50 Euro per trip per person paid and had neither admissions still food! (in Turkey for example there are excursions to circa 35 Euro in the price but already everything except drinks included!) At the port various excursions much cheaper offered or otherwise with the car the island explore!

All together a nice hotel with good, friendly staff. Very clean, good food, good evening entertainment with theme nights, where we however only the greek evenings interested in. We can only recommend the hotel. Would also again, if we go back to Rhodos flies. read more
