Fantastic location, just by the sea. Staff speaks different languages and is extremely polite and helpful. Great variety of food. you can rent a really cheap car there and go aroud the island (which is breathtakingly beautiful). read more

    Large room with modern furniture. The bath was rather small, however it did its purpose. Glad we were on the balcony with a spectacular views of the pool also on the more and the free safe. The cleaning crew were very nice and made a good job.

    The staff is always friendly and always noticeable anxious, for the vacation guest everything right to make. We had a small something with the booked room to discuss.     Actually the calypso beach also the maximum valuation deserves, because the beautiful landscaped beach is located directly on the doorstep. The place Faliraki is for me a nightmare. I was already 28 years ago time and was expecting the worst. Besides a very good ice-cream parlor the place not seen. The transfer was very Unproblematic. The airport located on the west side. Who at home at the highway lives will, if he as we a room with lateral view of the sea gets, comfortable feel. For us was the noise in the 4th floor side to Faliraki however, even with ear plugs, in night too high, also there the windows from simple glass and badly closed. We spoke in the lobby for a break on the beach side before, had but unfortunately because the utilization no success. To eat: we spend our last vacation in a Riu-hotel on Tenerife and gave the food, due to the variety and the quality a '6' ... - therefore can only a '4' consequences - unfortunately. The hot portion was rarely hot and too little varied. The theme nights, fish, Rhodos, Greece brought in cold ' part with salads and other products already variety. In the hotel lived, after our impression, too many German, French, Swiss, hardly any guests from the large state in the East., the were in the neighboring hotels direction Rodes City. It was a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. read more

The calypso beach is a real top -hotel. Great polite and friendly staff. Very very delicious food, there are absolutely nothing to fault. Ideal location for excursions, bus station on the doorstep, car rental (J & D) next door, water taxi to Rhodos directly on the hotel beach and taxis anyway at the constantly band past. Guest structure rather somewhat older ( however also not bad ) German, dutch, austrians, swiss, English and quite a few Russian-speaking guests. We will go again next year. read more

The hotel is a all-inclusive -a top class hotel. The size of the rooms with a view of the sea about 28 square meters and very good divided. The optical impression is very clean and the view for the detail. Welcome at the front desk of the regular guests (for the 7. time, of which 5 times the beach and 2 times in the sister hotel palace) very cordial, you can get to friends. Nice to see, that the staff now 7 years is always the same, this means, not only the front desk, but the operator in the dining ... room, in the bar, of the pool bar, even the lifeguard welcomes a as a guest. The types of people are in the holiday season at the end of october predominantly german, but also with nice dutch and english. The average age is well mixed, next to the elderly are a lot of young people and young families with children (the never disturb!). read more

    The rooms are very spacious. The furnishing is very and good. The view for the detail can be recognized. The mini bar is filled, will but no more refilled. The dishes were very varied. If anyone get bored, then it can in our opinion only due to the fact, that you always from the 15 (!) Same dishes and a fresh counters menu must. Even the snack bar offers daily at least 8. different variations with at least three variants repeat themselves on. Even people with a sensitive stomach have confirmed, that the quality so good, that not fight can. We can only emphasize and we of the kitchen sincere thanks.

    The staff to the ordinary employees is always friendly. Almost all speak good german, but at least english. At the front desk apart from german and english also french and italian spoken. The cleaning of the rooms was on the whole stays always very good, which we this year again can confirm. A small downside are the high prices for the laundry, at times, in which the airlines always pinkliger, the extra, as could a more moderate pricing to a new beschäftigungszweig help. 4,50 Euro for a shirt is just too much.

    Except at the water aerobics, the is very well visited, we didn't take part. But it will be from children's mini club, beachvolleyball, water polo, table tennis and Midget Golf plenty of entertainment. What particular emphasis should be on, is the very good live music, which we every year can be enjoyed. Thanks a lot to dimitris, georghe batis, yannis and Andreas, alec and drop the most beautiful dance music in this period offers. Good tanzpaare confirm this every year, being so good live music not granted can. The special candy is, that the bands in the sister hotel again in the 2. week heard or vice versa. It is alone worth the trip. Many, thank you very much. The beach with the blue flag is, can wholeheartedly be confirmed. The water is crystal clear and the beach very well-kept. Umbrellas and beach chairs there were in plentiful numbers. The changing rooms are for this year with toilets additionally equipped. What to say is, that pedal boats and einerkanu free of charge is possible. For jetski there are special rates. All-inclusive in its purest form. Thank you.

    The hotel has it's own, very well maintained beach section (sufficient) with the blue flag. Shops are besides in the hotel in the more immediate vicinity (10 minutes on foot) or in front of the hotel holding regular bus to Rodes City (every 20 minutes with an approximate driving time of about a half hour) to reach. Recommendable is also a drive with the water taxi to Rhodos. The costs a few Euro (6 Euro simple drive) more than the regular bus (2,20 Euro), but it's a very impressive sightseeing-tour. All excursion possibilities can be from the hotel to begin, this applies to both the cruises to Marmaris (Turkey) as well as the beautiful island of Symi (sponge-divers). Furthermore, with bus trips to Tsambika-bay or to Lindos be taken (back and forth per person circa 9,00 Euro).

I was now for the 6. time in the calypso (times with the entire family, with the girlfriend or with our other couple). We had always lots of fun and felt good! Every hotel has its advantages and its weaker sides, here is true for us all the value for money. Pleasant is the snack bar, where one also lunch in a casual atmosphere. The offer in the restaurant could in the evening be a bit more diverse, but you always find something delicious and more than you could eat didn't! Is really great the beach - great clean and ... calm sea and the beach maintained by an employee, you can say it not differently, 'hard on the ball'! At the bars there are tasty cocktails and the evening entertainment is varied; there is always something to see! Recommendable is an excursion with a rental car, on one day you can the island orbit and much to discover. Also a drive to Rodes City with the taxi boat is very nice. We definitely go 2013 again! read more

We are for the third time in this hotel and would definitely come again. The first time we were 4 years ago in this hotel and since then the hotel has not changed. We liked it very much, that the hotel very clean and that the staff is very friendly and a fulfilled all expectations. The hotel offers everything, what you on vacation wishes. Which I also recommend is a private trip into town Rhodos and Lindos, where many bays to visit. We felt a car rented and are both itself went for it. It was very nice there.     Nice standlage. Beach on meerlinie with stones mixed (not intrusive, except for building sandcastles). The sunbeds at the pool and the beach in preferred locations in the morning reserved by guests, but you can find mostly also at noon a place. About 2 kilometer to Faliraki, which already better days seen.

The hotel is simple built and with blue glazing a little optically improved. The entrance area is normal, not unclean, clean also no highlight. We had a room on the 2. floor with a view of the street, which was not bad. What not at all is, is the hallway between the rooms. The gray carpet was wavy, worn out and totally gone through. Many doors were optically damaged, some inputs to the sides damaged. The rooms were apparently clean, there was no to moan. The pool we have not only because of the very nice prevent (for the stones ... directly at the entrance to the to the sea the hotel can't) not used. First of all, the loungers - hello Germany! - already in all early with towels reserved and then already two to three hours later, occupied and the pool is also quite neglected. The water was clear, however on the floor one already sees many lackplatzer. The a star hotel not be. Overall only all-inclusive was offered, which many of the mainly german/dutch/swiss guests (average age about 55/60 years?) Also good had used. read more

    For the waiters i have rather bad dialed, so here a bit better rating. The food was really nothing special. No variations and was partly the meat (no matter wether pork or fish) dry as the bread. The chips we have, if at all only in the ' mittags'restaurant eaten, as these in the main building of consistency rather spaghetti were. The food in the à-la-carte restaurant was was delicious! You can eat everything, but the hotel is now times 4 star... And the taste is better!

    Here i want not between rather bad and rather well have to choose. First... There were no operation at the tables. If we have time, is juice and water in advance at the breakfast table together, otherwise is everywhere self-service. Also the service was very mixed. In the main restaurant, at the front desk, in the bar was a waiter, a lady, the very pleasant were. At the pool bar speaks only the tips and in the ' mittags'restaurant is a smile or a kind word not to find. The rooms i thought that was always clean, but scrutiny i of course not.

    The animation was always very polite and tried for the guests to keep, which also not so easy is. The entertainment i give definitely a 'good'. The beach is great. The sand consists of fine gravel, the reiling were (we are talking about 4*) however only once in the entire week swept. The beach itself from the rough trash (cigarette packets...) Cleaned, only the loungers were again under the umbrellas too. Here definitely a 'good'. Internet... Yes, the hotel has a internet access. Since, where in other countries the wireless internet access is free, it cost in the hotel 10€ / day, or 50€ for one week! Sport: there was a gym, which three wheels, a multirack and two treadmills is. The multirack is in a good state, the weights should be the most athletes definitely rich-good! The bicycles i didn't use. The first treadmill could be for the software operation, but the tape is' finished ', that every touch on the left side strongly decelerates! The 2. treadmill could from the band was functioning, but the software will not. I was 8 time after about 1 minute from the band informed, that my workout now was over. But i had nothing touched. All buttons except start/stop and pace up/down did not work. As the band then ran, i chose a speed of 9 kilometer per hour to heat. Then i wanted for 1 minutes on 15 kilometer per hour increase, which also as expected worked. Without my involvement increased the treadmill in the short term to speed on 20 kilometer per hour! Luckily i had the eyes on the display and could at the legs and the band jump. I have the front desk informed, the technician had zero idea of the equipment, could only greek and tried 25 minutes to the bands around. I have my stuff and fled. - bad

    The hotel is simple built and with blue glazing a little optically improved. The entrance area is normal, not unclean, clean also no highlight. We had a room on the 2. floor with a view of the street, which was not bad. What not at all is, is the hallway between the rooms. The gray carpet was wavy, worn out and totally gone through. Many doors were optically damaged, some inputs to the sides damaged. The rooms were apparently clean, there was no to moan. The pool we have not only because of the very nice prevent (for the stones directly at the entrance to the to the sea the hotel can't) not used. First of all, the loungers - hello Germany! - already in all early with towels reserved and then already two to three hours later, occupied and the pool is also quite neglected. The water was clear, however on the floor one already sees many lackplatzer. The a star hotel not be. Overall only all-inclusive was offered, which many of the mainly german/dutch/swiss guests (average age about 55/60 years?) Also good had used.

Beautiful vacation for relaxing in October. We were positively surprised over the steady friendliness and the good German language skills of the staff. The complex was very clean and well cared for. Unfortunately was in October the possibility to go out rather limited, so we were very pleased a really beautiful hotel to have. The food was very reasonable and the evening entertainment really varied. Overall a very succesful vacation. read more

    We had a nice, large and bright (Ahorn), modernly furnished room. The sofa was a extra bed for our daughter used (here could have 2 comfortable sleep), balcony, view to the street (was not a problem for us). The bath was also okay, but without plug socket and of the hotel hair dryer after a short time on the handle very hot. The shower was in the bathtub - was but also ok. The safe in the closet was free of charge and the mini bar beach with some drinks for free available, but it was not restocked, so we had at least a private fridge in the room.

But we were satisfied, since the buffet selection was rich and you always found something tasty found, however not everything very delicious was.     The staff was very friendly, have always greeted, we were in the restaurant from the restaurant chef received, the us everything explained.     At the entertainment we didn't take part. It was a daily changing evening program offered and on the beach, there was various water sports. The hotel has a very great pool area with lots of seating, pool chairs and umbrellas and beautiful plants and a direct access to the beach, where the chairs and sunscreens could be used for free. The beach is great, ruffy sand with pebbles and clear, clean water without algae or other garbage.

    Faliraki is not really recommendable (crowded). The bus stop directly in front of the door-we are with the regular bus to Rodes City dangers (per person and way 2,20 Euro) - very recommendable. In the hotel there is a rent-a-car, with which we for 1 day a small car for 30 €and to Lindos and very close the calithea therme visited-both absolutely beautiful.
