Went on a 5 day Easter break with wife, daughter and grandson.First time stay at this hotel booked through a really good offer from A1 Travel. Flew out on Easter Monday with Ryanair from Bristol international airport. The hotel was clean throughout as was the Caribe annex which is where we stayed. The annex part is unsupervised and could get a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning as the clubbing 18-30 lot arrived back in the hotel. I was a bit surprised that this family orientated hotel took 18-30's as there are enough noise elated hotels ... in Magaluf that cater for this group.The hotel caters for B/B, H/B and A/I guests and whilst the main visitors at Easter were Brits there was still a number of Irish,Germans, French, Dutch and Scandinavians read hotel review

    The room we had was on the ground floor in the Caribe annex.It was clean, comfortable with the maid making the beds and changing the towels daily. The bathroom again was clean with bath, shower and hair dryer. There was air -con plus TV [limited English Channels] a fridge and safe [safe was around 30euro per week with 5euro deposit returned when you take the key back]. The bonus of these ground floor rooms is that we had a 3 meter balcony/terrace overlooking the promenade and beach. On the terrace were a table and chairs plus two sun loungers which meant we never had to worry about getting up early to try and get a sunlounger by the pool.

    The one restaurant was situated in the main Flamboyan building and was clean, light and airy as it looked out over the beach and the sea. We stayed A/I and found the food from breakfast through lunch and evening dinner ok, it did not please everyone but that is always the case, we ourselves always found something to eat and never went hungry.If you missed lunch and were a bit peckish late afternoon there was chips, burgers, hot dogs, salad etc available between 4-30-5.30 in the afternoon.Drinks were available at all meals from self serve machines. Again the hotel only had one bar which was open from 10am but A/I stopped at 11pm.

    Staff at reception were efficient and friendly and spoke several languages and when we did request extra pillows or the shower was not working it was generally sorted very quickly.

    This hotel did not provide any entertainment at all it was left to the guests to sit in the bar and make conversation. Although I have to say I never heard any moans and groans about the lack of evening entertainment. The pool area is at the back of the hotel but looking out onto the beach and sea. the pool and pool area are very small with approximately 25 sunbeds around the pool and about 30 chairs. As usual people were placing towels on the sunbeds early even though there was a sign up saying sunbeds must not be reserved. A lot of people were removing towels off the sunbeds that were left unused for hours on end. If you fail to get a sunbed it is no big deal because the clean beach and blue sea of Magaluf is only a matter of 30 steps away.There is also two jacuzzi's next to the pool area plus a seperate room containing, jacuzzi, heat room, sauna and dip pool . This has to be booked privately for one hour in advance with reception [5 euro deposit/refundable].

    One of the bonuses of this resort is the fact that it is only around 30 minutes from the airport. We used a private transfer [around 70euro return] which meant they were at the airport to meet us and no hanging about waiting for shuttle buses. I had been to Magaluf a number of times previous but this was the first time we had stayed at this end of the resort which was incidentally very close and convenient for walking into Palanova as well. Easter period saw a number of shops, bars etc open but not all as generally Mallorca is a May to October season. If you do stay at this end of Magaluf you will find plenty of life, shops and bars to visit and of course the beautiful beach and promenade is immediately below the hotel.

We are two female friends from Germany and Switzerland and went there for diving at the end of September. We enjoyed our time in Flamboyan Caribe a lot. People are very friendly (especially the English, although a little bit loud - but Magaluf is "british Ballermann" ;-) and, of course, people from the hotel). We went to "Big Blue Diving" and had a great time there. It is also quite close to our hotel, which was one of the main reasons, why we booked this hotel. read hotel review

    Bed sheets full of hair from the previous and mostly pubic hair on the floor in the room and bathroom everything was full of hair fußeln used cotton buds lay in the bathroom and so on Shower was broken the shower head you have to stop and the shower is 60 times 60 centimeter large with 2 pages shower curtain practically impossible to shower without the bathroom to overflow. Safe must be rented, mini bar also the single room have no balcony and no time of day comes the sun at the windows.

    When we complained on spanish discussed at the front desk there again a few good German moaners older do not have meant that I also spanish. We had 5 times to the front desk to the room still was cleaned in the first round have only the bodengewischt, afterwards I went every hour until they really made.

    By the pool and jacuzzi, as well as in the spa area you only 1 hour use after registration everywhere hair broken doors dirty window surely 6 months not cleaned so a kalkbelag on the windschutzfenstern in the jacuzzi. Toilets stink always urine no matter what time of day it is.

    Location is great directly at the beach and behind the hotel starts the strip the party area of magaluf of evenings 8:00 P. M. until 5 in the morning hours early begins the bar.

The hotel is for german unsuitable, almost only british and a small part russian guests. During the 2 weeks we were almost the only german (it came after a week still 1 german couple). German travel guide was for years no longer there. The kitchen is ok, however nearly only on english. German-speaking staff there was a, and the manager is german, that was it. Handicapped in completely magaluf generally not be. Because the hotel on the edge of the strip lies, (s -Arenal for english), at night is not much sleep! The rooms are big enough, with prior relatively ... clean, but during your stay point the most necessary cleaned. Conclusion not recommendable! read hotel review

For party animals, with british rival want and don't need to sleep, it is recommended. Really great is the view on the lake, the for a lot, for the paper thin walls this hotel, a little compensated. read hotel review
