As the other reviewer already write the hotel lies fairly close (3 blocks ) from the French Quarter. Breakfast (American with bagels and cereal ) was in the price with included. Guests were too many Americans. The hotel seemed from the outside I think quite unimpressive. What stop reinhaut is the it no free parking spaces returns. 28 $for parking p. Day should be included. We had however a Roomsavergutschein for 59 $p. Day for the room. As the parking fees a bit this minor imperfection. It was clean. We could not complain. read more

Over the size our room (910 ) we can't complain. We found it adequate in size. It was clean, the beds relatively new and super comfortable. The bathroom is a dream. Large, clean, and a double shower. Furthermore seemed the room and the bathroom through a mixture of offenliegendes stonework and wallpaper very comfortable. New flat screen tv with lots of programs. New Clock radio and very good Wi-Fi in the room. This hotel was one the best which we in the last few years had. We also had a beautiful view of new Orleans to our room.

the room and the bathroom saw every evening when we to the hotel came spic from. Fremdsprachenkenntnisse were not available. Why. Most tourists want or try to speak English. Apart from that we cannot at this point not complain about since hardly necessary. Parking as already written 28 $. However also has a queasy feeling. You are the keys and a hotel employee drives the car in an adjacent parking garage. You got a note with point. If you car (actually not in new Orleans ) but need you have at the front desk Tell. Takes so about 5 to 10 minutes. Then the car again on the doorstep. But it is a rental car and not their own. Therefore the mulmige feeling.

As already written: close to the French quater. The St. Charles streetcar is right nearby. Supermarket and some shops are only 50 to 150 meters away. For themselves ideal location.

The 10 -story hotel is in the center of New Orleans, in the direct vicinity of the French Quarter, Mississippi waterfront and casino. The rooms are on the small side for US standards, however, very clean and tidy. Breakfast is included in the rate and sufficient start needs. Every morning there was toast, croissants, muffins, yogurt, apples, jam, butter, peanut butter waffles and coffee/orange juice/apple juice. read more

The small rooms are very nicely decorated, parts of it still open brickwork purposely left - the room a really nice flair - our wall mounted picture of the "Washboard Wanda" (apparently a woman in New Orleans on the street with your Waschbrett and a few small bells music made). Our bathroom was very nicely decorated, with a bathtub and a lovely white sink. The rooms have high ceilings - the windows are large as well and a lot of light. Mini bar/fridge not available. However, there are safe and a coffee maker. Balcony also non-existent. The cleanliness of the room was very good!

The breakfast buffet was ok and nothing ever went missing - it was always immediately refilled ... One could not as I said the fullness of a German breakfast wait!!!

The distance to the mississippi river is not more than 300 meters. In the street in front of the hotel - Magazine Street and diagonally opposite - are numerous just to find. There were many possibilities for example. The Oak Alley plantation that about 40 minutes to reach by car.

The hotel is in a great central, the French Quarter is just 5 minutes away on foot and shopping is. With a little luck you in the street public parking. The staff are a bit inflexible, for one day our 2 -night stay there was nothing except waffles for breakfast as it appears the key to PANTRY not detectable. After 2 hours looked Offer not different ... There was a safe in the room but no fridge. read more
