Very nice and big room with aircondition, terrace, minibar which always provide free wather, there is a safe and a television..

Buffet with nice food and restaurants a-la-carte where you can choose italian/mexicano/...

Very friendly staff, an amazing team of animation. Everyone speaks english and most could even speak some words of dutch. FUN!

There is a lot to do: a whole team is there for you. You can swim in 4 different pools, you can dive/snorkle/dance/play soccer/volleyball/yoga/...

Very nice hotel, lots of facilities, fun atmosphere, very clean, variated and very delicious food, nice and very friendly staff. One disadvantage? A lot of russian people which doesn't have respect all the time.

Near by the beach with facilities to dive/snorkle/... half an hour from the airport and a close dolphincenter where you can swim with the dolphins.

The room was very nice, always clean and pleasent, the beds were so comfy I had a brilliant night sleep everynight in it.the furniture was in good shspe, nothing was hanging off and need fixing. The aircon was very good, amd kept us very cool.

The food was very good, there was a lot of place to go eat, like for breakfast you could dat in main buffet as well as a few of the restaurants, for lunch you had either buffet or a choice of two things from the pool bar with lots of salad choice. But was nice to have a range of foods from the a la carte, I tried things I thought I wouldn't like. All I would say is they need a widerrange of younger childrens food e.g chicken nuggets. But overall brilliant. It was very clean, as soon as people left they cleaned and reset, very clean.it was very nice atmosphere everyone smiling and was just happy.

The services were brilliant the staff were so friendly and I felt welcome and made at home, they would come and ask you if you was okay, asking for drinks, making sure you have a perfect stay, if some wasntright, they would ryrun round making sure its perfect. The room cleaning was very good, everything was clean and tidy. There was extra services like a clinic, which is good, and a spa and gym for example. And if you had a complaint they would be so apologetic, but they handled it very well. On a whole they made my stay an excellent stay.

In my opinion the entertainment with the animation team made my holiday, I tried things I would never do latino dancing, they had a wide range of activities, they were so energetic all the time, nice and freindly with children, young adults, and had fun with parent to, they were involved in everything. They always have a smile on their faces as well. A certain few made my holiday the best, john, as he got me trying something new, the dancing which I would never have done and I now really enjoy it. Silvie, as she always came and spoke to me and got me involved with her activity and I really enjoyed it. And Buca, he was full of energy always making people laugh, so entertaining and always included me, I loved doing belly dancing with him. I didnt do many other clubs but I felt the rest were very freindly especially marley and ibza always coming a talking to me, I also felt that the dj in the disco at 11 was good, played great songs and made my night very good no matter how many people were in there. All I say is I think the main big pool should be heated up as it is far to cold, although they have heated pools everyone want to be at main pool where it all hapening, should be heated. Other than that very good and please with them. Sunbeds were very comfy aswell.

I felt that the hotel was very beautiful itself, but it was made so much better by the staff, how they were so friendly and would do anything for you, just so you had a perfect stay, the cleanliness was great, everytime I came back to my room it was spotless, there was everything needed, fresh towels, shampoos etc. The food was brilliant, and I like the fact of the 7 a la carte so you had a wide range of foods, so you didnt have to have the buffet all the time, and the food at lunch a breakfast were very good. There was a range of guests but everyone talked and made freinds, this was helped by the animation team, which just completed my holiday and made it entertaining and fun. Overall I would most definatley recommend this holiday to my freinds and family.

The location was verh good with the surroundings, it was about a minutes walk from the main pool and restaurant area, you could have a bed where ever you want and still use both beach and pool there was quite a few shops, but I felt you didnt need shops as you had everything you needed, but it was still nice to have shops with souvenirs etc. Although I didnt go on any excursion my self I felt they had lots to offer as there were a lot of sales people going round, but what was good is you could have a red flag and no one would pester you.

Clean, clean, clean. Again kept in tip top condition and a lovely, comfortable space to call home for 2 wks. Air conditioning that kept us cool, mini fridge stocked with water and soft drinks every day. I was even given a bowl of fruit, compliments of the hotel! TV was ok too. 3 English channels -always a great film channel if you fancied a night in ( as if!). I'd sit on our balcony every morning soaking up the 7am sun (yes-hot at that time too but a nice heat). Everything you need (no bath but a shower room with seat). Suited us fine. A hairdryer too is also supplied along with a really easy to use safe and plenty of wardrobe space and hangers too.

Being a veggie, most overseas places I have visited always struggle with the no meat, no fish Concept. The choice of restaurants and variation of food was immense and with over 9 areas serving food throughout various times of the day-I was never hungry! Having said that, it would have been nice to see more vegetarian options but there was still lots of food choices and alternatives on most days. The bars were great too. Never really had to wait for more than a minute or so and the staff were always great and ready to please. The hygiene in this areas was never a concern as it was always spotless.

Service in Sunrise is exceptional in my experience. From the waiters, to the pool bar man, right through to the cleaning staff - nothing is too much trouble. Every staff me ever I met always wanted to know if I was ok, was there anything I needed-they could have been more helpful.

I think the Animation Team at the Sunrise were AMAZING! I have never stayed anywhere (and I've travelled quite a bit) where there was such a big team of happy, friendly and fun people. My 6 yr old son was in awe if them and couldn't help but run up to them or try and get there attention the minute their (long) day started. From the many fitness activities they offered ( water aerobics, dance lessons, yoga, water polo - to name but a few, we were all kept entertained all day long. My son and I had our favourites-but ALL of the team are a fab bunch of people doing a brilliant job. The team at the kids club were great too and very welcoming to all the new kids. Even the lovely pool guys and towel men were happy, helpful and always kept the place looking tidy from dawn til dusk!

A wonderful experience for 2 weeks of pure relaxation. The Sunrise is one of the best hotels I have experienced when booking a family holiday. I can't recommend Egypt enough for the warm weather and even warmer people. Everyone I met who worked there, couldn't do enough for you. From the pool man to the restaurant manager - not forgetting the infamous Animation team!

Only 40 mins from the airport, a huge complex of pools, gym, Kids club, over 7 areas to eat, shops, and a beautiful beach too. What more could you want all under one roof.

The rooms that my family had were very good sized and the decor was good too. There was plenty of space and the bathroom was also spacious. The air-conditioning worked well and was a great, useful and needed aspect to the room. It was brilliant having that. The cleanliness was great the cleaners did a good job every time. however, the only faults were that one of the bedside lights didn't work and didn't get replaced and our balcony light didn't work either which meant that we couldn't sit out at night in the light.

There were about 7 restaurants in total, all of which were good quality with good portion sizes as well. however, i do not recommend the Italian restaurant as it made a family member have stomach issues for a few hours. The cleanliness was good and the variety of different food was brilliant. There was an Italian, Asian, Mexican, and several others. The Asian was outstanding and was the best restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the waiters were polite.

The staff at the hotel were lovely. They were very friendly and so polite, they made the holiday even better. The majority of the staff knew 3 or more languages extremely well and they always spoke to you and made sure you were happy. The room cleaners did a fantastic job and kept the standard up throughout my whole visit.

The entertainment team at the resort was absolutely brilliant! They made me and my family so happy and the activities that were on offer were great fun! I feel there is nothing bad to say about this area of the resort as it was just brilliant. The staff were very friendly and made you feel comfortable and happy. They knew a wide variety of languages and they themselves were up for joining in with the activities. It wasn't just the children joining in with the activities, people of all ages and nationalities were enjoying the fun and it was lovely to see. The beach and pools were lovely and and the water was very clean in both. The sunbeds were very comfortable and clean and when they weren't occupied staff were going round tidying everything up and removing sand from the sunbeds. It was good to see.

The hotel is a lovely place, it has many rooms and the location of my room was brilliant. It wasn't far from the beach or the restaurants but wasn't too close which was fab! The hotel was mainly clean and there was always workers around cleaning everything up and keeping the resort nice and tidy. The breakfasts were good but sometimes you would have to wait a little for a waiter to bring you an additional place setting if it was needed, but it wasn't much of a problem. There was a good range of people on holiday there, a wide age range from children in push-chairs to the elderly and there was also lots of variety in the nationality of people.

The distance to the pools and beaches were great, just a few minutes walk from my room which was brilliant. The airport was only about 30-40 minute coach journey which was also good. There were plenty of shops in the resort which meant that we didn't really have to leave it as everything that we needed or wanted was there. If we did want to go to Hurghada, it wasn't that far I don't think.

Our first rooms were not great as we travelled with three children and our eldest two had their own room. I mentioned to reception that I was a little concerned they were too far away from me (although they are 18 & 14 and were in the same block) and immediately reception apologised and moved us to a family suite which was excellent. This was not too much trouble for them and they were not rude as reception staff have been in previous hotels when I have had a problem. The room was spacious and very clean with good quality tv not that we watched it, a minibar with water and soft drinks replaced daily and a nice balcony.

The main buffet restaurant was great with a fantastic selection of hot and cold food and an amazing selection of deserts! There are seven al a carte restaurants. We only went to the Italian as we were happy in the buffet but this was also excellent. The buffet restaurant was kept very clean and I liked the fact that there was antibacterial hand gel outside the restaurants. You are of course welcome to tip but the staff do not make you feel that you have to.

I have never seen waiters work so hard. They are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The staff spoke so many languages they were able to assist everyone. The rooms are leaned daily to an excellent standard and the reception and bar staff were always so friendly and helpful.

There are numerous pools and as it was a little breezy one day the heated one was great. They are clean and well kept and all have bars nearby. The animation team are fantastic my kids loved them! They worked so hard to ensure that everyone had a great time but they were not loud or pushy you could do as much or as little as you liked. The beach was kept beautifully clean again thanks to the hard working staff. The water was amazing with a coral reef close to the beach which was great for snorkelling.

The hotel was fantastic. The staff could not do enough to ensure you had a great holiday. The staff in the buffet restaurant never stopped and the animation team ensured you could do as much or as little as you wanted whenever you wanted to.

The hotel is on an excellent beach. The only tiny downside is that there is not a lot around the hotel if you don't want to spend all week on the complex. We got a mini bus into hurghada arranged by our rep which only cost £40 and was worth a visit.

We were in a twin family room and it was more than ample for our needs. The beds were good big sizes and we almost wanted to bring it home with us !! The kids liked their beds too. The air conditioning was easy to use and each room had its own control. The bathroom was a nice size along with the shower. As mentioned before i wish the fridge was stocked every day with the Fizzy drinks as the kids would of liked that. The terrace was a nice size and very safe. The telephone was easy to use but calls to the uk are more expensive than I expected. The tv channels are good, you can get the news and a few movie channels which showed good films. The safe was very easy to use and I felt very confident using it as its controlled by using a number which you set. The building we were in was very clean all the time and the building looked new as the resort keep it up to date. The staff are always doing something. I never see a member if staff not doing anything. Even in the heat if the day they work away.

There is one main buffet restaurant with a wide choice of food. There are 7 a la carte restaurants of which we tried 4. The Italian, Mexican, steak house and Asian and they were all very yummy. The one thing we learnt on our last a la carte was that you can order as much as you like. So it was nice for us to try the different dishes. Waiters were very friendly and food was delicious. The dining areas are kept very clean and waiters are always on hand to take dirty plates and glasses away and to reset the tables. When we arrived in the resort we were not sure what to do with the tipping. But we just watched other people and found our feet. We tipped the room cleaner and the barman at the pool we were at. We also tipped our waiters at the a la carte restaurants where we ate. We did this by putting it in the boxes they have in the restaurant. Tipping is easy and is not uncomfortable as no-one expects it ever.

Well what can I say. If it was not for the staff especially the animation team our holiday would not have been so good. They made our holiday what it was. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much bother. They knew lots of different languages and put me to shame with the one language I know. I would to mention my favourite members of staff that made our holiday exceptional. This is just the ones I can remember! El Ghendi the barman in family pool (heated pool) outside block 35 he looked after us very well and very friendly. The animation team Mido, Mido B., John, Marley, Boca just to mention a few. They were all very friendly though. The waiters in main restaurant and a la carte restaurants were all very friendly. Everyone was just lovely. The rooms were cleaned daily. I wish the fridges in the room were topped up with fizzy drinks more than once. But that is minor detail. The cleaners made us a lovely monkey out of a towel which the kids enjoyed seeing. We did not use additional services so cannot comment on them. Nor did we have a complaint.

The pools are all amazing and very very clean. They are looked over very well. The pool sizes are massive and the pool we went to mainly was the family heated pool outside block 35. My kids loved this pool and were in it all the time. The sunbeds were plentiful and in good clean conditions. The beach was kept clean and the sunbeds in clean order and plentiful also. Showers are located at each pool and also at the beach which is good to wash sand off your feet. The leisure activities were plentiful and every day there was a full programme which are on boards around the resort. My kids participated in some activities during the holiday and enjoyed each and every one of them. They were run by the animation team of which were all really friendly. The disco was fun and the shows were really good. The only we did not really enjoy was the belly dancer. She was good at it, but it was just a little competitive. The variety of music is not too great either, but we were informed close to the end of our holiday that you can ask for different songs to be played. The party dancing songs are just amazing and will be forever on my iTunes playlist from now on and will bring back very fond memories. Our shopping experience was fun and it was exciting to barter the price of things. The shop keepers love a good barter and the kids enjoyed joining in this too. We did not use the kids club but always see them out and about at the beach or on the resort and the kids always looked like the were having fun and the staff always looked happy and seemed very friendly. We used Internet access on the resort and this was easy to use and quite reasonable. We could get Internet access from the family pool we were at of which we were surprised about as I was under impression we could only get Internet in the lobby area.

The hotel was bigger than we expected but that did not matter as there is so much to do and so many different pools it never seemed that big which was great. It was very clean. There were workers all the time cleaning the floors. The rooms were cleaned every day and the gardeners were always out working in the gardens keeping everything trimmed and neat. We were all inclusive and I must say that there was so much choice if food. Even at breakfast there was lots of choice. Lots of yummy things and omelette/egg chef was lovely and friendly. There were lots of nationalities on site from English to Russian to Germans and French. I would say that there were more English there but it was hard to tell. There were lots of families there as well as older couples and young couples. A great mixture of people.

The resort has its own beach which is clean and plenty of sunbeds. It is literally right on the resort. No more than a 5 minute walk from our room and we were the furthest away from the beach. I hear that there was a good shopping centre down the road but we did not experience it as we stayed on site all the time as we felt we did not need to go anywhere else. There is a shuttle bus a couple of times a day that goes from the resort daily. So plenty of options. There was a wide choice of excursions available but we did not feel the need to make use if them as I said we found enough to do on site.

We had 2 rooms and asked for them to be interconnecting. They were spacious, clean and great view of the pool. We were in block 10 which seemed to be the family block. We requested a kettle and tea/coffee facilities to be delivered to the room, this was refilled by the cleaners every day. Mini bar was also restocked daily. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff at this resort. Fabulous holiday.

There are 7 a la carte restaurants on site as well as the main Buffett style restaurant. The Italian, Asian & Bedouin were my favourite. This is not to say the other restaurants were not good they were it is just purely my opinion. The hotel has a Mediterranean restaurant, Mexican, T-Bone steak & Greek fish restaurant. The menu's are great and lots to choose from. We always left a tip as the service from the waiting staff was always fantastic. Big thanks to Said who was in charge of our fresh baked pizza's and pancakes.

I cannot express enough the friendliness of all the staff. They were all so welcoming and nothing was a problem. The Animation team were outstanding and made our holiday so enjoyable. Everyone seemed to speak more than 2 languages which should out us English to shame! We had 2 rooms and requested they be interconnecting, this was no problem at all. My little girl fell over and slightly cut her toe on a rock at the beach, the doctor on site was more than happy to help clean her wound and bandage her without any charge. We had no complaints at all about this resort.

The resort has a great gym and the resort facilities from Zumba, Step class, aerobics and aqua aerobics are great. Full activities program enough to keep all family members entertained. This again is all run my the animation team who were outstanding. The entertainment in the evening was also fantastic. Shows put on by the animation team were great and the disco & karaoke always went down really well. The animation team also ran prize bingo which was always surprisingly busy. Huge thanks to the animation team Mido Oox, Mido Brown, Fern Martin, John, Ibiza and of course head of the entertainment team Osama. Not sure our holiday would be the same without them. They made our holiday so enjoyable. There are plenty of sun beds and sunscreens, toilets by the pool and beach are cleaned on a regular basis.

The resort is large and very spacious. No early rise for sun beds which was fantastic. The hotel is exceptionally clean. We stayed All Inclusive which the kids loved the freedom of ice creams and drinks etc. The resort has many swimming pools so there was a range of age groups from family's to adult only and elderly couples. Great facilities for disabled people. My daughter is visually impaired.

The resort is located on the beach. There are shops in the resort but a bonus must be the pharmacy & beach equipment shops which are few minutes away. The excursions are fantastic, we went diving as a family as well as a boat trip to snorkel and trip into the dessert to ride the beach buggy's on the sand dunes. Fabulous time.

The rooms were of good sizes we had a room with an adjoining door which isn't very good as you can hear every little noise. They were clean and towels changed as and when needed the minibar wasn't a bar as it contained no alcohol and the pop wasn't refilled only if you rang and asked for it but whatever you asked for you got . Safe is free so another positive.

We ate at five out of seven a la carte restruants twice at the Mediterrean Mexican and twice at the Asian in my opinion they were the best the steakhouse was ok the and the Italian very nice . The food in the main restruants was good plenty of choice the waiters got a little distracted sometimes but in all were very good .i didn't have any bad experiences when dining it was a pleasant experience every time . The tipping boxes in the a la cartes are very good as its for a small group that work very hard but in the restruants you could spot who had tipped the waiters as the tippers got more attention . The dining rooms were always clean .

The animation team we're fantastic never a sad face always willing to help as we're guest services my husband did struggle to get change at reception even though it clearly states the bank was at reception The staff seemed to be very fluent in all languages . Our room was checked every day although I don't think it was cleaned thoroughly it was acceptable. If there were any issues they were dealt with straight away and efficiently .

We didn't really spend much time near the activities pool but what we saw got our attention and it looked good fun . We spent a lot of time at the quiet pool which was really nice . the beach was nice and clean there was a lot of sunbed saving which was annoying if the people didnt turn up until the afternoon and they had a wind jammer which someone else could have been using .

The hotel is fab clean very well looked after the rooms are a good size although I do think all rooms should have an iron and board and tea/ coffee making facilities which if you ask they give to you no charge . There seem to be an awful lot of blocks but whist we were there the hotel was full and we never struggled to get a sunbed or a table in the buffet restruants or even a night in the A la carte restruants which were all very good . The guests were mixed ages and nationalities of which I have to say the English are the most polite and friendly the Russians are just rude and the Germans well they are just German !!!!

We stayed for ten days and it was just right we didn't go on any excursions but would have had to if we had stayed for two weeks as there is a need to get out and about on any fortnight holiday . The beach was very close the airport seemed miles away and wherever you go the shops are all the same .
