We loved to stay at the hotel, even though some of the waithers need some training in how to behave when they are serving for the guest, also to learn some more English would be helpfull !! We used at cafe/bar that was open fro 10 to 17, that was a very good place, and the people working there was very helpful and nice people. read more

Were now to 10'. Time and gladly again at any time. Staff at the pool bars and restaurants very friendly and accommodating and have never experienced that after tips, or that someone pushy is, no matter wether pool boy, room boy, second service, service customer service and so on. The food was wide choice and there should be something for everyone. I sometimes wonder seriously what some people for really favorable prices of everything expect want. Who with hotels such as the Steigenberger, marriot, Hilton and so on. Comparisons attracts, must also the prices include. Everything else is absolutely unfair. ... And the alleged problems with the towel check up with us concerned but only to those, a drink with to the hotel to take wants. The prohibition is already for years, so i do not understand why someone fusses about it. Unless one has something to hide. We will definitely again in Grand Resort come, because the staff and the price-performance ratio we again and again fully convince. read more

A beautiful hotel, friendly staff, we had hardly something to complain about. Would, however, for a longer stay rather book all inclusive, since the drinks prices insanely high. read more

March 2013. Unhappy! The hotel has actually 3 *. Dinner in the restaurant reminiscent of a bazaar. Animation takes 30 minutes-in and said bye bye. Service only the money! We are a young couple and different hotels. We are definitely not pretentious. read more

Very good performance for the price. Staff is very friendly and obliging. The complex offers through its size place for walks. At the beach beach chairs and umbrellas provided for free. The food corresponds to the european taste. read more

Who for bargain rates in Grand Resort and afterwards about peanuts complained, in our eyes all cups in the closet. Of course you will always find a hair in the soup, if you are looking for long enough. But it was way too good please, to grievances to dig. Of course tried the building on high drink prices sales generate and left no from the outside purchased bottles to-if you frankly be carried by hand. And of course, it would be beautiful, if it wlan in the house there, but the walk to the opposite Grand Hotel (where one in ... the pool room, free of charge to network) also brings no around. And it is also true, that the bathroom fixtures already a few years on the embossment have. But they are all no reasons, the Grand Resort to pan, as some people do. We had the opportunity to, a few other hotels in Hurghada from the inside to see, because friends at the same time with us in the town were. None could in terms of atmosphere, mood and food with the Grand Resort compete. The staff is always friendly and always available-and then there is still the beautiful truism: as one called in the forest, so it echoes also! The attention, the contrary is, gives me such a wonderful feeling, a part of a large family. The staff does everything, so that you feel comfortable. Remembers it, always friendly to be. Finally, you are also very friendly and accomodating! The staff -all-tried to every guest-friend to adjust. It's not always easy with so lots of people. They create it! The guest is a king, when he acted as a king With my enthusiasm for the hotel i already lots of people bug. They have Grand Resort and are repeaters has become, -). Very often you can meet in the hotel again. It is often as a family reunion! While the sun by the pool or beach enjoys, works in the background the whole Grand Resort team to ensure that your vacation memorable experience. About everything watcheth the eye of the general manager and his staff. And these eyes escapes nothing. Everything happens very discreet, without any fuss, so guests-friends completely relaxed enjoy the sun. And this is what i call professionalism and service! I could spend hours on Grand Resort tell. You should just the hotel book, fly there and you yourself. Why so what great do? Also girls without male company are safe. Fly regularly with my best girlfriend back. Mostly for 2 weeks. But also 1 week is worth it. Simply away, dare you! So on to Grand Resort! Maybe you can meet there ☺ and one i promise you. You will return. And i. In 6 months.     Rooms are large, very clean. Beautiful view of the pool area. I had rarely seen so what nice seen. After over 10 years again and again anew fascinated. Will in Germany often asked, whether the pictures in the network or catalogs not lie. No! It looks really fantastic from! So nice, that you do not believe! In the evening, when the lights on, it is like in a dream!

Once and never again. Towel check up with us at the entrance (there is no water to bring their own). Obtrusive staff. Nice architecture with rip-off. Already at the airport does the tour operator eti 25 Euro for a visa, the bank next door 12,50 Euro costs. read more

We were for the first time in Egypt and with the Hotel Grand Resort in general more than satisfied. The hotel is massive and captivates by great and big room. One sees here and there some flaws but these were not worth mentioning. With such a huge complex, it is often a construction type. The staff is more than just friendly, we felt in the hotel very probably. Also the handling with children was really great. Contrary to other reviews were also the waiters very friendly and requested never a tip. The changing system worked likewise perfectly and the roomboy ... worried always around all wishes. Also we were very happy with the food. The various restaurants offer varied and very tasty. The private beach is to Grand Hotel. Walk to the beach about three minutes. The beach was very well maintained and invited to sunbathe and bathe. The only thing that we didn't like, were our visits on the main shopping street. We have rarely so obtrusive experienced, partly we even insulted, because we didn't want to buy. We were so the hotel bound, but not terribly disturbed. Conclusion: we would definitely recommend this Grand Resort definitely book it again! read more

Friendly staff, large selection at the buffet and rich the offer for excursions. The way to the beach was also briefly, around 5 minutes away on foot. The room to the inner courtyard are recommendable and the pool is also nice and big. Did not regret it, to book this hotel. read more

I was not the first time here, but it is much worse. Especially front desk staff very rude and on criticism little or not at all reacting! The places-, cutlery and tassensuchen every day on the new, was very unpleasant. My in-laws were with me and saw that exactly the same. The junior suite was great, and the chef at the nudelbräter very pleasant and always forestalling, as well as two staff in the restaurant. read more

Nonetheless show the germans in old manner from 6:30 the loungers and the pool- boys look on. ... Currently the pool beside waterfronthotel and mediterrano restaurant renovated. There full-time construction noise of hammer drill etc. The chairs and sunscreens are hard ageing, partly tattered, broken and the paintwork peeling paint see photos. Otherwise large value for cleanliness put: artistic/breakneck on long ladders with langstieligen wischmopps the facade of pigeon droppings cleaned, hardly a leaf from the tree it will be swept away. We have already been for the 2. time in the Grand Resort and we really liked it there. Unfortunately, we had to find out, the the food, in comparison to last year, had deteriorated. The hotel was the sausage and cheese often already on dried and bent on the plates. Then on omelette and vegetables changed. Evening was the meat and the vegetables often cooked dead and boring in taste. Even the bolognese sauce for the pasta was without any taste. But apart from the fact it was once again a relaxing vacation. Who on gourmet kitchen can do without ... is available in the Grand Resort in very good hands, because if you were on the oriental flair and the value for money look at, the hotel you can absolutely recommend. read more

Evening entertainment rather monotonous, was certainly because of the fact, that we in the low season were there. Tip in case excursions are planned, in a pub travel agency outside book. A lot cheaper, however with verkaufsstops in papyrus and alabasterwerkstätten (at Luxor and Cairo trips). In short: as also not different to be expected was, that the hotel with overpriced extras the cheap price for the journey wishes to compensate. I am usually very skeptical with versus the you booked. Had already one or another disappointment experienced. But: The Grand Resort is a top hotel in all categories! I have a week long in vain after hooks looking for, but it was not found.-) Have a known tour operator at a very reasonable price and received a week long 'deluxe stay' in the Grand Resort. Perhaps it was also because of the travel time. February seems a perfect month for Egypt to be. It's not crowded by tourists and the weather was with average 28 °c perfect and not ... too hot. Back to the hotel. Beach: You can the beach the sister hotel (Grand Hotel) use. Just over the street and through the foyer of the hotel walk and after a few minutes, you will find at the sea. The beach is not the nicest, but you can get good and gladly a few sunshine and the warm sea little swim. In the peak season i would the beach probably avoid as it was quite small and not place for all of the guest both hotels offers or it is probably very cramped to go. Huge plus is the service at the place. Without much to nerves come now and then a few friendly 'waiter' and ask, whether one something to eat or drink order. This you can really cozy on the room calculation write to let and it tasted furthermore nor delicious (have 2 time lunch at the beach ordered). Pool: The Grand Resort features one of the most beautiful pool areas which i up to now saw. There is something for everyone there (children/young people /adults/seniors). In the winter months is the pool heated and therefore pleasant temperature. In the morning always finds 'animation' in the form of water aerobics instead of. Nothing for me but if you wanted to it could to try. Food and service were of the quality better than in some of the other restaurant. My favorite was really (for me rather atypical) the evening buffet in the 'mahara', the largest hotel's restaurant. I had (also from experience) truthfully not much of a hotel in an arab country expected, but what delights was driven was already amazing. Every evening we had the agony of the choice. There were different 'possibilities' to the appetizer. Two large bars, there was a choice of at least six main courses and side dishes, daily. In addition in the outdoor area there were on the terrace of the restaurant to the left and to the right side 'show cooking', once chinese and once barbecue. In other reviews i have in certain places read the food is monotonous. This is not at all i confirm. I was in certain places with the selection of dishes every night overburdened, in the positive sense, of course. Dessert there was also in the form of cakes, pudding or other very interesting creations. The drinks were with us surcharge (because of half board) however the prices are in comparison to Germany a joke. Tasted is the food definitely on 5-star standard. The was for the first time the i every day in the hotel eaten and never disappointed was. During dinner is requested in shorts or bathing suits to appear, it should you keep. Criticism: A few small negatives i have also still. You must be room no outside bought drinks and sweets to bring their own. Overall, the in the whole complex not allowed.
