Good, functional furnished hotel on the outskirts of the town from sur. Suitable for the visit of the city or the environment from sur. No for us striking deficiencies, apart from as typical omani offered dishes in the restaurant rather a european or american idea of which are. The sur Plaza is with three stars surely correctly, it has decent, unspectacular furnished and clean rooms (at least was our so). The staff was very friendly and courteous. The dinner in the hotel has the expectations exceeded, the breakfast went sunday Overall surely suitable for a stop on a trip. When Google Earth the hotel is wrong marked. It is located on the road nr.23, on the from al Kamil coming after sur-driven right near the the entrance on the right side. The main attraction in the area is the schildkrötenbeobachtung in the ras al jinz turtle beach ... reserve, there needs one by car about 45 minutes. read more

The hotel is for a 3 star hotel really reasonable. Everything is clean and tidy. The buffet is varied and tasted good. The view on the big street is not nice, but for one night absolutely to be hurt. Many entertainment i couldn't discover, but this as a woman alone not to visit. Excursion possibilities in the area are available and sur is a good stopover during a round trip. We have the hotel as a part of a round trip visited. For one night for sleeping suitable. The hotel lies lonely in a industrial area at the Einfallstr. To sur. We stayed on the back of the hotel used. Roadside probably very noisy. Choice and quality of the buffet in the evening and breakfast in comparison to the other hotels on the round trip very poor. Terrace to eat very small. For breakfast it was even closed. As mentioned, for one night okay. read more

We stayed during our Oman round trip one night in sur excellent. The stay was pleasant and the value for money was correct. The hotel is somewhat out of the way of the city, so you with a car or taxi into town drive must. read more
