We spent four nights in the Best Western Hotel hollywood Plaza inn. The first impression was initially not so good. At the formation from underground garage with about lying rooms with view of the parked cars we had to get accustomed for the first time.
The charm of the hotel then came quite quickly to the light - the location is for that price hardly better. In 5-7 minutes you are on foot in the middle of hollywood boulevard with 'walk of fame' and 'dolby theatre'. Also in the universal studios is just a stone's throw - with the taxi ... only about 12 $. (makes sense, because the parking when universal 20 $costs.)
But back to the hotel: you have as mentioned no very beautiful view. It is the room inside fully equipped: private fridge, Samsung-tv, air conditioning, big bed, sofa, bathroom with (small) bath, iron- and -board, as well as coffee machine. The cleaning of the rooms was done really well. On the first day a note on the bed, with the you could want, what time the room should be cleaned (in the morning, in the afternoon or not at all).
To the facilities heared a pool and a small heated jacuzzi. Both with a fence from the rest the hotel separately. One looks on a fence and parked cars. If you're getting into, it is nevertheless times 'something else', the pool to use. We have made it 3. evenings with a bottle of sparkling wine made. This vacation photos can any longer!-)
Eating and drinking you can in a small restaurant in the hotel. Nearby there is a small supermarket (very expensive), a schnapsladen, as well as a Starbucks.
At the front desk there is a computer with internet and printer. Wifi is also free of charge.
I would book the hotel again. read more

The hotel is located in immediate proximity to kodak theatre and hollywood bled. For this location is it cheap and good. The rooms american with carpet and shower curtain, but clean and for a short break excellent. read more

Terrible hotel!
For a car parking was 15$ per day requires (there are in the town days parking for 8$ )
It smelled in the room musty and there was hardly any natural light.
You sleep directly on the car spaces and by the open construction, one is thus always live, if someone drives etc..
Rooms are opposite and there was a complete with PERGOLA.

It is a good hotel to stay there for one night if you haven't booked anything better in advance. Two pools are good and clean.
Use subway in case if you don't have a car. It can take you to the beach or to any other area you'd like to go. Taxi is very expensive. Don't try to visit HOLLYWOOD sign, it's not a walkable distance at all. read more

We had the hotel as a part of our 3 week Amerika-tour for ' los angeles' booked. Us it was important especially, that the hotel centrally located and yet affordable. Since one must already say, that we recommend the hotel could! Just a few meters from a Starbucks away (breakfast or wi-fi) and a further 5 minutes you are right in the middle of the walk of fame, codak theatre etc. The furnishing in the hotel is not the most modern-but if you only for sleeping there is, plays no role.
Parking we also always got. The computer in the ... hotel we were allowed free of charge, for some information to be printed!-)
Price/performance ratio was absolutely adequate. We will book this hotel again. read more

Facilities and cleanliness as with all Best Western-hotels which we met without complaints.
The room and the bathroom were quite small, but for our 3 nights more than adequate.
Since it in the immediate environment sufficient restaurants, Diners, eTC. We the hotel-restaurant not visited. The pool we have on the way to the car seen, since it is right in the parking garage is. No nice location but the kids, the expenditure-raved themselves have, seemed the visibly not to disturb you.
The most important thing was the nearby location to Hollywood Boulevard. The is no 800 meters away. Parking at ... the hotel is for guests free of charge.

For a visit to the Universal Studios and the Hollywood Boulevards this is a great hotel. Boulevard is within a 10 -minute walk, the studios are a short drive away. For this central location in advance on the internet we took a very reasonable price. The hotel's biggest advantage is the location. It is within easy walking distance to a 10 -minute drive from Hollywood Boulevard and by car in 10 minutes in the Griffith Park. Free parking in the courtyard. Otherwise a mediocre but adequate hotel out of all the Best Western chain. read more

The extremely clean hotel is in a great location and convinced additionally with free parking and free WiFi. is conveniently located 5 minutes away walking in front of the Kodak Theater and in about 10 minutes by car to Universal Studios. Unfortunately no breakfast included, but a large room with a completely new Samsung flat screen TV collects the hotel an added bonus, especially in the thought that: ) of course, many restaurants, bars etc in the surrounding area result in a very good review in "location and area". The hotel is a five-minute walk from the Hollywood Boulevard way. It is clean. Arriving or departing guests get noisy. Especially if you come by car. Doors slamming etc. but were not a problem for us. We turned around and further slept in. A breakfast was offered. But not in the price. The restaurant was very busy. This was the declined breakfast. But the price was right for the location. Although it has a pool. But the beach is small and is long in the shade. In Los Angeles intention upon arriving at the pool.
