Whoever likes it quiet is right at home here. In the middle of the vineyards placed there are peace, peace and again peace. At the small bar in the lobby there is a coffee or cold drinks, the restaurant offers 3-4 times the week delicious, invests Tuscan cuisine. You can stay in his unit or cook in one of the nearby restaurants outside of the complex go. Without a car here however not, but it is too far off the beaten path. Only 15 kilometer from Florence away, is the fattoria an ideal starting point the northern Tuscany by car ... or train to discover. read more

The staff at reception is without exception very friendly and service minded. Four times the week you can on different evenings food. The food was simple however very tasty and for reasonable prices. Big praise! You can store various products (olive oil, preserved tomatoes and peaches, honey, marmelade and so on) purchase. The quality is very good! Our room didn't bother us so much, but we would nevertheless come back and another apartment book. The proportion good value for money. Again many thanks to the team the front desk and the kitchen staff! read more

We had a 160 m² apartment in the main building with stylish furniture and dreamlike views of the vineyards.
4 times per week is cooked - the selection and quality the food is really very good. Idyllic environment - ideal for many walks. From the next place ( pontassieve) it is only 20 minutes by train to Florence. read more

Great location (a bit out of the way, but quiet)-beautiful extensive area-comfortable apartments in Tuscan style equipped -appropriate, but everything that you need-friendly staff (also German-speaking)-Florence is a short train-only complaint: in autumn (were in October there) it is a cold in the apartment, definitely bring warm clothes, as there are only a few heated will... read more

Very nice vacation in a perfect location, no noise, in the middle of the vineyards. You feel like you're in a different world from the first day. With the course one is in 20 minutes in Florence in the city center (two, 50 €). Highly recommended are the three theme nights in the fattoria, 20 €/ person the costs included drinks and there is a varied, mixed tosk Anise's buffet. It is worthwhile in any case. The apartments, we had a two person apartment, are very rustic, but with us everything was very clean and there was enough space. The ... staff was very friendly and could speak German, so communication was not a problem. Highly recommend the tour of the well, followed by wine and sample. read more

We were for 1 week in the house Rustico (about 300 m away from the main building) building. There are about seven different it small apartments. We were in a for four people. 40 sqm large said, is but much smaller. After our arrival, I had to clean the soil for the first time, the quite dusty were. Also cobwebs were plentiful available, for example in the fireplace, between the heaters and what we said late in the evening in the frame of the sofa bed. Unfortunately the reception was already closed to 7:30 p.m., so that we ... only could say what the next day and had to sleep the night in the about 1.60 meters bed. The was but not the last night, as the next day also, no one to clean. We slept a total of three nights on the uncomfortable bed. Ants were in front of, and behind the house in the way also plentifully available, so that we us constantly had to get reception to the pesticides. I would definitely take your own sheets read more

We were very disappointed. In the night after watching the Monday, 04 October 2010 (I could whilst not on the SA-have given almost two days by) we could not check into the room since several days in advance, despite only a very precise plan at the reception to the fattoria was in the for us room number. find and position of the building were not exactly clear. Since the house is for our room to find was not an issue as you enter at the entrance and inside were then room number. also our three to see! After a call ... to the so-called. Notfallnr told us with the to eight before if you would. My girlfriend urged us then the we are tired and want to have the room. At 6:30 the Boss himself the us unfortunately also led two, embarrassing if the Boss himself to not divided will take place. Next trouble: the ordered baby cot was not in the room although they are standing empty have must for SA after the dust in general to judge. On our c read more

Lovely setting but very basic archived

This farmhouse is in a lovely setting but it skimps on basic amenities. No kettle. Only a hob and we had to search for matches to light it (they don't sell them in the local shops). The farmhouse markets itself as being family friendly but this place would never pass health and safety checks in the UK. There are numerous hazards for small children, steep stone steps with tiles missing creating sharp edges, unreliable gas tap serving the hob in our villa, open fireplaces with no fireguards, open plan steep stone staircases in the villa not to mention the smell ... of sewage and chemicals coming from our bathroom. We complained but we were not offered an alternative - just had to put up with a slightly reduced smell after the staff had left the extractor fan on all day for us. The food in the restaurant was over-priced and the music and folklore evening was a complete rip-off at 20 euros per head - the food was Ok but the folklore consisted of a singer who sang badly accompanied by a soundtrack that was controlled by two laptop computers. Hardly ethnic. The kids activities which had been advertised did not materialise. Our villa was very dusty (not good for anyone with asthma) and it was also quite smelly most of the time. We would not return although the scenery there is stunning and the farmhouse of historical interest. read more
