We have this hotel for our 3-day safari to the red centre booked. Therefore, the 1 night before and after the safari. The luggage can free of charge be left. (not monitored and complete ) hotel has ideal location, so that evening on foot in a couple of minutes restaurants and bars to be able to receive visits. Shopping center and souvenir shops right around the corner. read more

The hotel offers itself as a starting point to various excursions in the area or to the uluru national park at. We even not a problem, a part of the luggage for four days in the hotel to leave. In this period we were on a multiple day excursion on the way. read more

The Aurora is located in the middle Alice springs in a pedestrian area. In the immediate area restaurants ( the hotel pleased us best) shops, galleries, a park, the venue of many aboriginal is. Your sight needs getting used to - it is worthwhile but, the gallery their art and culture to inform.
The rooms are attractively designed and very clean, the staff at the hotel is friendly and competent. read more

Good hotel for a night.
rooms: standard room really only standard, but deluxe rooms are not much better. No choice 4 star.
pool is relatively small, but OK.
breakfast: English
very good: restaurant, good food and not too expensive.

We stayed with our adult daughter a Multi-bed room, which was sufficiently large and well-appointed. We used the hotel just before or after our tour in the outback the night before the flight to have. Our rest of the luggage, we didn't need in the outback tour, we could free of charge in the hotel store. In the few remaining hours in Alice Springs could we were due to the great location of the hotel (by the adjacent restaurant was directly at the pedestrian area of Alice Springs) was very easy to see the city and some shopping. Also evening ... there were enough possibilities to eat well. read more

From the outside the hotel looks better as well as from the inside.
Our room had a wall in front of the window.
The stairwell is badly in need of renovation.
Free Parking Garage,
The breakfast at the red ochre restaurant was average, the dinner was nothing special. More than mass.
You are but very centrally located next to the Todd mall with many shops read more

The Aurora is situated in the center of Alice Springs and will surely most guests only as stop-over in direction Uluru. Unfortunately the house looks better than from the outside the room from the inside. The decor is very simple. Everything is very noisy and grouped around a central courtyard. The cleanliness was okay. The staff is very nice and helpful. In the central shopping accessed by the underground parking. There are certainly better hotels on the edge of the city. However you need a shuttle service into the city. read more

The first room I had did not meet my expectations - it was dirty (hairs all over, stained linen sheet) and way below under 4-star standards. The second night, however, after my 2 day tour in the Outback, I got a much better room.
The first room was on the ground floor, very close to reception. This is OK if you join a tour very early in the morning.
The pool was not very inviting - clean, but shady and not in a very nice spot. Moreover, the water was very cold.
The location of this hotel is absolutely great ... - just on Todd Mall, you can even leave the hotel into Todd Mall. read more

This hotel is very centrally located, as the only plus point. The elevator was broken. The entire hotel is average. The staff in the restaurant was very unorganized. The room, especially the bathroom is a little worn and partly in need of renovation.
If you book this hotel as a base to Uluru national park should book another hotel. We can thoroughly recommend the heavitree gap outback lodge. We used this hotel for a night during our tour. read more

We booked this hotel through a travel agent in Germany and on the experience of a girl leave. The exterior, good impression of the hotel and the friendly staff at the front desk are deceiving unfortunately the poor quality of the room. The access to rooms is well arranged signposted and leads through a dirty garage to an old rickety elevator. The rooms are smelly, unaired and shop don't go to the longer lingering. On the way there we were in the bathroom from a about 4 cm long Kakerlak welcome. On the way back (other room) didn't work the ... bathroom light. But That by a very friendly staff attended to within 30 minutes. In summary: Too many stars, room rate doesn't suit the quality. read more

Central location right on the shopping and pedestrian area, from the airport in 10 minutes by taxi. In the town within walking distance to all the sights. The hotel is slightly in need of renovation and the hotel restaurant only with drawbacks for dinner, the breakfast was alright. Ideal starting point for Outback tour. read more
