The room was very good equipped and we had everything. Kettle, tv, wlan, pools ('hot tub'), as well as a breakfast buffet included. Distance to the local supermarket, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes on foot. The staff at the hotel were very nice and were willing to help. Very recommendable hotel. read more

Really recommendable. Have a double room booked and are very satisfied. 2 large king-size beds are in the room. You can also for 6.85 CAD seine laundry washing. The tap you can at the front desk get for 1.85 CAD. Washing machine and tumble dryer all cost 2.50 CAD. Breakfast is ok but unfortunately there is no cold cuts like cheese or sausage. Also on request not. Is probably only for larger groups. No idea why. read more

Very clean hotel with nice staff. Parking spaces are available and the center is right in front of the door. Unfortunately is the breakfast a bit small, for what the night costs. There is unfortunately no bagels, but toast, muffins and fruit salad. The coffee is very thin and not recommendable. That is in other hotels but similar. Altogether a good, recommendable hotel with departures for breakfast. read more

Banff aspen lodge-a normal middle class hotel

Smaller central located middle-class hotel. Room, bathroom and the hotel were clean. We had a large suite booked with breakfast included. In the hotel there is also a small gift shop, where you tickets and so on can get. Guest structure: a lot of senior citizens from the USA, apart from that internationally, mostly from Europa. read more

    We had a suite in open construction with a small bedroom, living room and two washbasin in the hallway, as well as a small inside bathroom. The suite was a small balcony with two chairs in the direction main street. There was a fridge, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, telephone and a normal tv ( we didn't use it). A small coffee machine and a kettle were available. The rooms were clean, the furniture however already a bit shabby. Large disadvantage the aspen lodge-there is no air conditioning. We had for three days 30 °C and cooling, despite open window with insect protection, was nothing to remember. At the front desk we got on request a miniventilator with about 25 centimeter rotor diameter, the as good as nothing against the heat ausrichtete.

    There is no restaurant in the hotel. We had breakfast included, is however not something for everyone. There was only two sorts of toast, muffins, yoghurt, früchtesalat, two types of jams, honey, muesli and cereal. Ideal for süßfrühstücker. One morning there were hard boiled, gepellte eggs in ice water. Apart from that no sausage, bacon, cheese or scrambled eggs. A glass juice was served. Coffee so often one wanted to refill. With large rush one must partly long line up and wait, until a place allocated.

    The staff at reception and for breakfast was friendly and helpful. The front desk is open 24 hours. The rooms were well cleaned. Waste is separated, in a blue tub one collects glass, plastic, cans and paper. Free parking, partly covered, there was behind the house.

    The hotel had a bigger and a small outdoor swimming pool in the courtyard, where in the small about 4 persons and in the major pool maximum 8a 10 persons fit, and swimming is not possible.

    Smaller hotel in timber construction directly at the banff avenue. This is the 'drosselgasse' of banff. Every day walk about 10000 visitors through the main street. The number of gift shop in banff is second to none, it is huge. Of banff you can of course excursions to many sights on the whole banff national park undertake, but also the fairmont banff springs hotel is from the outside, as well as inside worth seeing.

We stayed in the coldest week of winter in Banff Aspen lodge and/or in the hotel Germany from booked. You Will Need vacation just plan in advance, then book definitely on a travel office in Germany, as the prices there are at least twice as high. Aspen lodge with two hot tubes equipped (42 °C) after a cold day for relaxation concerns. The rooms are clean and large, the staff are very friendly. read more

Nice hotel in a quiet, but central location (5 minute walk to the town center); room without safe, but otherwise, it was very good and with terrace. Continental breakfast (fresh fruit salad, Joghurth, toast, muesli, cake or similar) was a good start to the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unlike in the dertour catalog described, the Internet was free. read more
