We have during our round trip by Canada A night in this hotel spent, it would be more I would have been annoyed me really, because it cheaper and better hotels in Banff are.
The hotel lies at the end banff avenue, but not a problem as is, because by car it is easy to get to the shopping & food possibilities dangers. On foot are however also several restaurants reachable.
We received a room with 2 double beds, which on the first glance only times not at all so bad appeared, but, as so often deceptive the first impression: ... all Furnishings were scratched and saw just tired, smelled musty, as if since weeks not aired and in the beds we have hair found our predecessors.
The bathroom was not relatively large and was just dirty, it lay hair rum and the surface to the file on washbasin unidentifizierbare bright had stains had.
Positive can be seen however, that the room was quite large and enough room bot, which in my opinion however the only positive was.
Parking spaces are sufficiently available and also the staff when a & out was very friendly and helpful.
The next morning we have in the hotel breakfast, buffet for 12 $/ person, was absolutely adequate. There were eggs, bacon, yoghurt, fruit, etc. So everything your heart desires.
In short: Banff is really nice, but to this hotel I would not again go, go a few €more spent, but you must then the room not scrub. read more

The "Inn's of Banff is located at the end of the main street, about 2 km away from the center, but that was no problem, as a free shuttle bus right outside the door. That leaves every 30 minutes, so you at any time to restaurants and shopping. You have to rather than in the hotel's Japanese restaurant food, but in the center all possibilities. The rooms are large, as everywhere in Canada. Everything about the climate is available from the fridge. Even a balcony is in every room, as far as we could see. As it starts but they ... take the bad. will not do much importance on cleanliness. There is no table nor chair on the balcony, which wasn't that bad if least he would be clean. But that is with the rooms. In the bathroom we found hair from our predecessors, the tiles were partly moldy and it was not cleaned every day. The carpet that also has seen better days, was absolutely filthy. It seems, probably won't often vacuumed. On the information available at the front desk, why this is so dirty, we were told that he will cleaned every 3 days. Our beds were not done thoroughly morning, d. H. the upper sheets was simply glattgestrichen ungemachte and over the bed. ( see pictures attached ) the worst impression but the hallways and stairways. They apparently never vacuumed. Totally dirty, makes a really uncared for appearance. To have something positive to mention the end, there was plenty of free parking directly in front of the hotel. All other hotels on our tour were thank god much better, but unfortunately, we had in this 3 -night stay. Otherwise was Banff great and we thoroughly enjoyed stay ! read more

We felt comfortable, the best was of course the view from the balcony of the Rockies. The $10 surcharge is well worth it. On the downside was only lack of air conditioning (also not in the Hotel description) and the trains all night. But the latter is all hotels in Banff. We ate in the city, because we were not so appealing Japanese cuisine. read more
