Generally you assume, that when booking a suite (here junior) a certain exclusivity with is connected to. The junior-suites in hipocampo are all above the entrance. The entrance in a side street; the entrance the neighboring hotels is exactly opposite. So was the 'noise' the prior -, as well as abreiseverkehrs (here mostly by the particular travel agencies) of two hotels more than clear in our juniorsuite. Noise >> drivers leave generally the motors in - respectively get walking!
This noise was more than clear from early morning until late night evenings to hear>> the close the balcony doors brought ... a certain reduction of the noise level, but it was not an acceptable solution!
Since all J suites lie one above the other, was a exchange not sinnhaft. At the front desk you us the exchange a double room recommended>> this was however only about our travel guide to organize. On my question why on the travel guide, the compensatory measures as reason syndromal. This compensation would only be on the travel agency afterwards in Germany to make. Here in my opinion the staff at reception not in the sense of the customers traded.
Since the double rooms is clearly smaller than the J-suites, this exchange for us not into question!
The junior suite was big enough, also the bathroom. The balcony was quite long-according to the length of the suite, however quite narrow. The furniture on the balcony very sparse>> two chairs and a small round table mold at the shower and at the hinge on the shower cabin available.
The food ( breakfast / dinner) good, but not varied. Partly were preserved ( fruit) offered.
The audience too many German 'seniors '!
The evening entertainment was weak! The transvestites show underground-there was early away-.
Wi-fi >> 2€ / hour, but it was only in the lobby to use>> this but with some problems with the connection! read more

Only drawback- handtuchmafia by the pool! You feel to 30 years back!
Apart from that the friendly staff in all areas pleasant.
The hotel is now renovated. We are curious and will again next year.

An outdated hotel. Average age 75 we felt like we were in a nursing home. Several guests with rolatoren. Jack for older guests by the pool. Good food overcooked. Little peppered. Partly after an hour of the specific characteristics particular all and not more since, although the restaurant two and a half hours was open. Partly inappropriate as fish with bones, meat often with bone, constricted restaurant with poor acoustics. The bathroom with a bath instead of shower. Tiles 30-years-old. Internet: wi-fi in the reception area for 2 Euro the hour. Very contemporary. read more

The hotel is really a bit older, but in good condition. Altogether it is the smaller hotels. The mood in the hotel is almost informal. The room is in our eyes generously cut and a big balcony. We had direct view of the sea. Thus it already somewhat older is, there is obviously the a or other alterserscheinung, but the others will, because: the cleanliness true, the staff is extremely friendly and you can absolutely in peace dishes. Everyone gets a table assigned to the whole stay. The food is very good, something for everyone. The hotel is very central ..., not only directly at the beach, but also in the heart of the pedestrian precinct. Cala Bona/ sa coma, on foot are achieved. On the weekend, where we were there, there was extra touristenaktionen on the beach promenade from the same hotel -chain. Children are almost no on location. The average age situated a bit higher (from 40/50 upward), there are almost only German guests in the hotel. Every evening there was another event, they were really good. There are merely a woman, the for the entertainment is responsible. Very much endeavored and for all in any case approachable. Us it was important us relaxation to may, our peace to have and good food, this was wholeheartedly fulfilled. My birthday was super there, also from the hotel. The hotel is however older year of construction and in this fall/ winter be renovated. An acute renovation was however not recognizable. In the hotel room was the Raumluftkühlung not optimal, since the temperature only on circa 24 °C absenkbar was. In the remaining hotel areas was the air temperature about 2 °C low. You got in the restaurant a table, the however didn't like, in coordination with the waiter be changed. The food was a four star hotel standard. One could from a variety of Speisenangeboten choose. There was no boredom. To mention is the extraordinary friendliness of the ... hotel-employees, from the reception over the restaurant to the Etagendiensten. We were very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend it in any case further. read more

The hotel was great - large room with plenty of storage space- Seidlicher view of the sea from the 3rd floor from the bed from.
Food was hot and good, only the bread rolls are too hard. Loungers by the pool of guests unfortunately until the afternoon occupied. read more

We felt for this hotel because of the good reviews decided. Unfortunately we were on site not quite agree with that. The hotel is in real need of renovation what especially in the room can be seen. The room and bathroom are very small and worn. The staff are very friendly, helpful and spoke very good German. The breakfast and dinner were very good. The meat was freshly prepared. Also here was the service very nice. The pool area is very small and not nice. For this the location is great. The beach is on the promenade and very nice. ... The shopping area was large and about 2 minutes away on foot.
Our summary: good food, very good location, good shopping, fantastic beach, bad small room, small pool area. A second time this hotel we will do not visit. read more

We were very satisfied with hotel and staff. The daily buffet was extensive and something for everyone there. The beach is in 1 minutes to reach. The pool is though a bit small, but enough to cool off (and for a few trains also). read more

We the hipocampo booked a little with the reviews for the hotel together. Whereby reviews quite subjective and you to own experiences different thinks and assessed. To the hotel I would like to a few this private experiences back.
The staff in the house is very friendly and helpful and spoke very good German.
Over the restaurant I can only positive reports. No large hecticness, everything was overlookable and food and drinks sing well.
Also here a compliment to the staff, always very polite.
What we think unfortunately no 4 stars, are the size of the rooms, the bathrooms and ... the furnishing.
It is clear, everything is more than ageing and would have be improved, that meant renovated!
Furthermore it is, as in many hotels this design, very badly soundproofed!
If you at this time of the year is, you should know, that all very hard and was very loud.
This I am referring to the around of the hotel.
We have nevertheless reasonably relaxed, only through the great weather, this has a lot more than made up for it.
Should in future some of these deficiencies are eliminated, so it is a house, that one for pleasure can book. read more

In all areas the staff is very pleasant and helped where they could. The rooms are clean and tidy. The beach is directly behind the beach promenade, which you with a extra door in the pool area reached. The food is very good, rich and tasty. The only to kritisiern is the fitness room, with two device currently not in shot and the welcoming present in the bathroom ( soap, shower gel) are really welcoming present and in all rule not replaced, however receives one on demand at the front desk also new Curd Soap. read more

As already several times described the building somewhat older and therefore also quite badly soundproofed. For the coming winter is an extensive renovation announced. If the already renovated hipotels on the edge of Cala Millor look at, it sounds promising.
The building features approximately 170 rooms over 6 floors. We were first in the seitentrakt the 5th floor. Because of a permanent summtones -we assume from the hauptklimaanlage coming
We asked for a room changing. This was also immediately made possible. The rooms with lateral view of the sea offer although it is only a view of half of the ... bay, but the advantage, that the sun not the whole day on the rooms stands. Air conditioning works smoothly. Guests too many from Germany. When we arrived, was a beautiful transportation in the hotel. However this changed from 27-08-2012 radically; from the entrances almost only '65 +'. Most of them have been around forever and familiarity. In the hotel you will find all lots of regular guests. read more

Really only 20 meters to the beach! The staff are very friendly and the food also tasted very good.
The rooms are small, however everything is available what you need. The direct view of the sea is worth the money.
The hotel we can quiet conscience further to recommend.

A very nice, rather smaller hotel in Cala Millor. Very clean and very friendly staff. It could be however renovated respectively freshening. The location is perfect, not too far from bars and restaurants. Directly behind the beach promenade and only 1 minute away from the pedestrian precinct. With the hipocampo you can't go wrong. read more
