After we have stayed twice in this hotel were, and always very satisfied after home, we had in October again for this hotel endschieden! Unfortunately it was a huge mistake! The hotel is within half a year so run down! The 14 days almost only of food! Some of the food not enjoyable! Hardly any variety! Cleanliness directly nothing! On the penultimate day were maggots in the milk pitcher placed! I believe that says everything! Dishes you had to constantly control, whether it was clean! The floor in the restaurant was from time to time times swept from the waiters! ... Some drinks went partially every night! The service from the waiters who had already been there longer there are was okay! They have really tried hard! All new set waiter you could forget! Had no desire to work! For the travel guide from tjaereborg everything was ok. They did nothing about it! Regular tourists who had already are many years have a vacation there, were totally endsetzt and never again! As we did! The hotel is the last! Never again! read more

Catastrophic hotel! From the outside OK. 25 meters long queues other bar Minuten25 minutes waiting for a drink! -every evening! Horrible food. Always the same! Never enough glasses! Totally dirty carpets in the 2nd floor. Waiter mutually over the bunch of race for tips to catch. With other guests stack the not cleared plates on the tables! The air conditioning from middle September turned off. Than sweated you in the room as a, ' sorry-SAU. ' Stood at ( Oeger, not included in the Treaty. Unclean food at the pool bar. For us, the worst hotel, what we have ever had. Everywhere dirt, disgusting. Especially in the restaurant, waiter, the clothes was never changed, full stains. We are really quick fled. The local travel guide in our experience really quick helped and really quick into another hotel move. The vacation was then saved, thank god. read more

Once a nice 4-star hotel (some 350 rooms, they say) - now a run-down and neglected place in a state where total demolition should be considered. No finesse at all. The room cleanliness was very dubious - dirty bathroom floor and dirt/mildew around the tub. "All inclusive" for better and worse - mostly worse. Generally a mature clientele - mostly British, some Belgians and a few Scandinavians. read more

    Standard rooms were very comfortable, if not oversized. Good beds, reasonable storage space, "oldfashioned" TV, in-room safe (against hefty charges). Adjustable A/C and fire detector. Bathroom with tub - however complete with dirt/mildew in the corners. Cleanliness very questionable - dirty floors etc. Large balcony with two chairs, table and a drying rack on one wall. Views very different - from beautiful, over nice and agreeable to downright terrible. The entire hotel is ageing and very run-down, so be prepared for the worst...

    Mediocre food in main restaurant - sufficient and OK, fine, but no more. You would not starve. Unimaginative, and that is it. Typical "All inclusive" - overcooked, common and definitely nothing to write home about. Restaurant cleanliness seemed to be OK, but they persistently ran out of everything - suddenly no plates, then no spoons, no forks, no cups etc. etc. Main dining room atmosphere: main railroad station at rush hours. Understaffed bars, why there were long queues for drinks (up to 38 people in the queue!) - more often than not there were no ice cubes. And imagine a bar without ice cubes!!!

    Staff friendliness generally excellent - very helpful. Most of them spoke English, and nearly all French. Room cleaning was most superficial - in fact very bad. Bathroom floor was dirty. Reception staff often arrogant - the cashier rude and indifferent.

    Pool area was always impeccable. Animation team would "disturb" the pool crowd with loud and the wrong kind of music, the clientele taken into consideration. Afternoon and evening entertainment (dances) on the Terrace were excellent -not to mention the fabulous "Pool Fire Show" - nothing like it has ever been seen around the Mediterranean... so ****** stars to the animations team! Beach-wolley and water aerobics galore every day. Free sunbeds, and free beach towels from a near-by shack. Beach secucrity seemed to be very good, as was the service of the beach attendant - well worth his tips.

    The location is in fact excellent - close to the fine beach (3 minutes from the reception) and within walking distance to El Kantaui (one small mile). Very quiet at all times. Shopping about ten minutes walk away - nothing important. The save-your-money kind.

The staff's hospitality was the only positive. Dirty room, dining room missing dishes and towels and so on witnessed food, huge queues at the bar. Missing loungers, the cleanliness leaves in the entire hotel to be desired. We have never stayed in such a dump building. This country sees us never again! read more

    Service? So what we have never experienced something like that, staff is great rude and lazy! There are all other things more important than the guests, you feel like the bad bad! Dirt and grime everywhere, butt everywhere, very unfriendly staff. The entertainment team should fully be replaced. The entire area once completely be cleaned and the staff maybe training. We can only urge you not to anyone, a little for cleanliness and comfort is not go to this hotel! The hotel was apparently not on the number of guests set. Everywhere long queues to the line up. Hardly any competence in the guest service! Completely overburdened staff!

We have stayed a few sometimes in this hotel and probably next year come back. There is here and there problem but you can solve, if you get the right people destination. What I this year very disturbed, is the failure of the air conditioning in the room, as well as in the restaurant. Here we felt evenings as in a sauna. read more

It is absolutely in need of renovation but the delicious food and as dear to the children were, small cockaigne, cradled everything on. They work but now inexorably and stayed in the one week already somewhat moved. The dirt in the country and at the beach is rather shocking defendendo. Had to the walks on the beach action and have large glass away with it the children not reindatschen. read more

All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. You can go from the hotel and no need for a taxi which was very important to us. To the harbor it was about 30. Minute walk. We will definitely book this hotel again. read more

This was our first time in Tunisia and had some concerns. We were a little nervous on the eve of the holiday as far as the cleanliness in the hotel. Abou Sofiane but we have taken it really great. We were arriving very nice greeted with a cocktail. The suitcases were immediately by the staff in the room. The rooms are very clean, are cleaned every day. The whole hotel area was very clean. The food was very good and varied, it even has the children each day super tasted good. The entertainers were very nice and responsive, every evening ... in the disco is an idea. My son had a tonsillitis, Woops at the reception for a doctor and asked about1 hour he came to us to our room. It couldn't have been better!!! I didn't want to say too much:)I can just recommend Abou Sofiane and we will this year in the fall in any case fly there again. read more

    The rooms were small but nice. They looked quite new and were also always well cleaned. There was no mini bar, no telephone etc.

    Mmm... You can really only good say! There was a huge buffet from all over the world, whether fish and chips. Everything was there. Every morning and every evening there was specialities from Germany, England, France, Spain and much more. The lunch was also very tasty! On the cleanliness i have not really respected, because the food was so good \u263a The staff we have almost always tip on the table put. The service is quite friendly. Prices stayed in the pool area normal.

    The staff were very friendly! Some are very nice quiet, others strive, the visitors a great stay to make. The foreign language skills were with some not really so good. As half of the staff could only speak french. What my husband and my daughter not really so much, both could only english. To the room cleaning i can only say: perfect! Every day you could on a surprise prepare, the cleaning ladies formed always another animal from our pajamas. Also the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned. The dealing with complaints: any complaints (the i asked) was immediately. However, you are also not straight lots to whine about \u263a

    With my daughter ( 12 years) was very much in the mini-disco. While the ' large ' \u263a in the evening fun with the dancing, etc. Had, the small beautiful dances in the disco learned and found new friends. There my daughter very good english knowledge, could also good with children from other countries and so found new friends. Generally, there are for each age a lot of entertainment. At the beach and at the pool there were sometimes too few umbrellas and beach chairs.

    The beach 'gehörte' literally to the hotel. He was very close and above all, as far as i could see, pretty clean. There are shops very many. By taxi it took about 10 minutes to get in the town was. And there were many excursion possibilities in the town particularly many. The 'problem' was : because the hotel only with all-inclusive to book is, we had to not into town around something to eat/drink to get \u263a

Directly in front of the Abou Sofiane-a nice clean beach, to walks along the beach very pleasant. As often already mentioned, the hotel already a bit older, good size, short walk to the beach. The rooms quite normal standard. The bathrooms to renew, would be at the time. The staff for the room cleaning was friendly but the cleaning took place superficially, changing in order. Criticism: except for the hair dryer/tv no electrical outlet in the room available! A small indoor swimming pool and a reasonably usable fitness next door, but broken equipment were available. The hotel was to the ... larger part visited by English, what I find disturbing in any way, on the contrary. To the meals there was a sufficient supply of food, one should not expect too much. Just Tunisian and it was all very bland. The service in the restaurant was fast and attentive. The dinner was again specially Tunesian, Spanish and Italian. At the lobby bar courteous and fast staff, with a pleasant style. I had to make an experience only; taxi to Sousse not just in front of the hotel get, the drivers tried it with a price of eight or ten dinars. Walk to main street, taxi, after taxameter then about Five dinars to Medina pay! In short, Abou Sofiane hotel you could book, price and performance ratio was right and to relax the hotel was pretty good. read more

Together with my girlfriend in Abou Sofiane hotel I in Tunisia for a family holiday. The food was very varied and there was a o'clock available, if it was at the snack bar, in the restaurant or in the lobby (pasta, potatoes, rice, waffles, pancakes, various sorts of bread and much more) The rooms were very clean and well appointed (among other things, hair dryer, tv). For a deposit you could rent the safe in the room and get re-issued on the day of departure. From the cleaning lady the rooms, if desired (characterized by the sign on the door) ... cleaned every day and the used towels were changed accordingly. The leisure offer was Archery (archery) on water gymnastics to pro, which is directed to certain times. In the hotel's disco until 22:00 o 'clock 23:30 o' clock found of certain shows, which were very entertaining and shaping were. Of singing and dancing here everything is with for young and old. The Disco was then open until 02:00 o'clock. In general, the entertainers were very entertaining and just great. Even at the rainy day, which we had, you have our day a real experience!! The staff was extremely friendly and always tried to make our stay an enjoyable one. At the shisha bar after dinner, you could really relax and unwind and relax. The beach was very clean, the pool chairs were always available, you could borrow towels accordingly and plenty of offers for the beach stay were available. In summary, the holiday and the hotel really liked it. Some comments are not comprehensible for me. Maybe it is different in the height of the season, but you should consider what you would expect and therefore book. There are also people, everywhere and the best thing to home, in their four walls remain! The price/performance ratio was right in this hotel any case!!! The hotel was beautiful and the entrance area was very friendly for the first impression. The all inclusive meals in buffet form had variety and everyone could always find something for his own taste. The largest part of the tourists, were English, followed by the east Europeans, Germans during our holiday were clearly in the minority. read more

    The rooms were furnished convenient and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The balcony was beautifully large, it was nice to sit once or also for drying the swimming suits.

    The restaurants were all good, even the beach bar looked nice. The food was super, one could always find something whether local or once Italian or so ... Sometimes the wait for drink service took a bit longer, but with a little bit of tip for the waiter it was also faster.

    The staff was always friendly and endeavored very hard to understand our German also. The rooms were cleaned every day, although it could happen, that there was no fresh toilet paper was refilled and the reception had to be contacted. The reception had its own method with complaints. The standard reply was "no problem" but it was better to make sure to ask once or twice personally.

    The trip to Port el Kantaouri was super fast with a taxi. There were enough shopping possibilities as well as a large bazaar, naturally all was aimed at the tourists, but it was anyway nice. The beach was a small stroll through the hotel area. There were usually enough beach chairs and cushions available, however the cushions were very thin and for people with "back aches" not very comfortable. There were enough excursion possibilities, whether it was the tour operator or a venture on your own.
