The hotel we have for our first trip to New York City and were uncertain, whether our needs enough. First it seemed expensive, but for new york the hotel is a hammer centrally located and clean, the room to the street should be noisy, but we (3. floor) didn't bother us.
The room was small, but that is in nyc stop sunday
The service at no point has failed. Activities in the hotel there was quasi not-for the fitness room we had no time.
It is rare, that we a hotel times book, but as it seems it will shortly ... be booked once again, since the good alternatives in Manhattan simply much more expensive. read more

I had the room for me alone booked but my new Friend kindly leave to NYC. Was therefore the room then too small for USA standards. The bathroom was small but very good.
The hotel is very small but nevertheless good.
The largest problem was a Zusatzkaution on its credit must deliver 150 $. The findei CH somewhat unfair and completely covered. Loud Expedia AGB is only a deposit of the credit card or a deposit necessary, both is therefore not good. You can watch the deposit refuse then you get but no room.
Parking you should search their own ... hearts, because the hotel parking simply too expensive is. 35-40 $are OK.
The location to the Times Square is ideal read more

The hotel is very centrally located (51. between 8 and 9 avenue) in the immediate area from the Time Square (circa 8-10 minutes on foot). The rooms are as already described in other reviews very small, but this is typical for ny. What positive impacts is the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. A bit sad is the windows-air conditioning where ample cold air in the winter enter. As conclusion a very good, central hotel with excellent value for money. read more

Traveling as friends, we would recommend the hotel only conditionally further. Room waiter small, so rather cupboard, but for new York normal, okay anyway all day long. But no real closet, that was there already very worn, two twin beds, one of them in the windows, completely drafty and ice-cold air from outside penetrated by, party on backyard. Every word in the room to hear. Bathroom, two impossible! Wash Basin total small, no Ablge opportunities for make up and so on thus hardly possible to attract PM showers. I have stayed in many hotels and even in San Francisco was ... the room better. Maybe it was a single room. Apart from that, everything was clean, new towels every day even though not necessary. Price was okay, but certainly at the time in the segment which is difficult to get. It was enough for four nights. Conclusion: if you spend more probably had more comfort. read more

After many NYC visit and numerous hotel and I can only recommend this hostel. Great location, only a few Bocks from Broadway and Times Square. Very neat and clean rooms, as well as decent and clean bathroom and nice staff. Only the view from the room is not so nice. All in all, I am very impressed and can only recommend this hotel. Price/performance ratio is great! read more

For a few days the Jefferson NY is ideal. With the metro is almost on the doorstep, Broadway is about 10 minutes away. Because the life was right around the corner, considering skipping on service facilities (breakfast, restaurant, sport - there's the Chop anyway). But my room on the ground floor with a dark hole Minibad and in January on outside -14°C inside very cold. I had to the sash windows in the bathroom with toilet paper-caulking, so it was bearable. As usual, the room also noisy as regards neighbors and traffic. Ear plugs significantly increase the night's sleep. To ... warmer times but I would go again and again, the price/performance ratio was okay. read more

The location of the hotel in the 51st Street between the avenues 8 and 9 is ideal for sight seeing, two subway stations are in the 50th Street to find. Numerous gastro deals are nearby, the Rockefeller Center and 5th Avenue shopping are in 10 minutes walking distance. The rooms are typical by NY standards not unreasonable prices 3 -star standard, quite small with just a tiny wardrobe. In addition there is a fairly new flat-screen TV. The bathroom is clean and fairly new, the shower fully in order. Rather negative was the volume during the night plus side; the ... room was on the 4th Floor facing the street and the easy glazing stops the noise from. It was only a (simple) Innenjalousie from wood outside the window, so a real blockout curtains was not possible. A curtain was not available. The entrance and lobby are clean and well maintained; more offers of the hotel weren't used by us. The value for money was really good, on Expedia for NY 103 € per night we paid for a double room. read more

The hotel itself was nothing special, but it was reasonably clean and always occupied, light and elevator worked, the other guests were international and mixed ages. Overall nothing I especially like to highlight could, but also nothing I didn't like. read more
