We were very satisfied. Food (particularly the menus in the evening) were good or very good (breakfast is rather british style). Staff was always nice, helpful and not intrusive. Beach was right on the hotel, however the sea there busy, if one waves not like, are other beaches (Miami Beach) by bus approximately 10 minutes away. The bathroom is just a little in the corners rancid, but this is, in my opinion because of the fact, that you in the Karibik difficult the humidity away can provide. Free wi-fi is available in the calypso bar by the pool. Perhaps still ... applies to mention, that the hotel management before about 4 weeks has changed. read more

In february 2013 we were at the relaxing holiday. Activities and other entertainment was therefore not necessary. Because we booked all inclusive had, we also have the many restaurants and bars on St. Lawrence Gap we did not try it out. You could go shopping on demand in a supermarket and small shops, the it in a few minutes walk there. Also money automats were in immediate closer available. If i a holiday area in this distance book, i know, that there they don't speak german and i also no sauerkraut with weisswurst is served gets. We for breakfast also ... the sausage/the cold cuts and the cheese was missing, the we at home like to eat, but it was also so sufficient other meals for breakfast. Other countries-other customs. The dinner in the three restaurants was good, the selections enough, unless, you are picky. The ' long pants dress' for men is also appropriate, as otherwise there again and again guests would give, in swimming trunks and sandy slippers for dinner appear. If we in d a restaurant for dinner go, we must withdraw accordingly. Our room was big enough and well equipped. It was cleaned daily and towels were also daily freshly. Change sheets we at home also not daily. Beach towels for the pool or beach you could get fresh daily. The complete staff (reception, restaurant, cleaning, garden) was always friendly. As a previous guest wrote. As you in the forest in crying. Those, the about the hotel complain, the, the stupid practice, already before breakfast by the pool at berth 1-2 a couch with towel. Medium sized all-inclusive -hotel with 8 buildings and 3 restaurants. Everything is in clean state, but not brand new.     The hotel is in 8 building divided. First, since the front desk and the nursery. The other buildings are the blocks 1a 6 here are the rooms. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony. In the bathroom (with a bath) everything was alright, only the water pressure on the shower a little higher. Towels were sufficiently available and were daily changed. The bed was very large, also were plenty of pillows available. It was a free safe, a large closet, a siteboard and a secretary available. The ceiling fan and the air conditioning worked well. The television we didn't use.

    The entire staff is very friendly and cooperative. Minor problems were solved immediately. There is despite the size of the hotel (over 200 rooms) a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms and the complex are very clean.

    The hotel is located in the district of christian church in the south-west of Barbados, directly at one of the most beautiful beaches the island. To St. Lawrence Gap it is only a few minutes walk. The fishing village of oistins can in few minutes with the public buses. The beach is located between the Dover and maxwell beach and means casuarina beach. Grantley adams international airport is approximately 15 minutes by cab.

The hotel normally is super. The only reason why i didn't give 5 suns, is, that the hotel not the newest and the see. It didn't bother me less, but a renovation would be advisable.     We had a great large room with a view of the garden. A big balcony there was also and a (free) safe. Also here we have to say the one the age of the hotel looks, and the beds not so comfortable, therefore only 4 suns.

The only reason why i here no 5 suns have is the, that i myself very wählerich am what the food wise. The selection was so sperziell for me, not too large. In 'normal' transportation situation to and from the hotel is the for certain different. There are enough drinks on the whole day distributed... All alcoholic drinks are inclusive

    If you are in the serene way got used to it (that is all a bit slower and relaxing than here) is the service great.     I don't know, whether it really bad and environments on a small island. This hotel lies definitely great. 15 minutes from the airport, close to the abc highwas and on the south coast on the waves \u263a Bridgetown can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by car. Really out we were on foot not. Only by car. Since i didn't pay attention to, whether shops etc. Returns. A supermarket is definitely within 5 minutes away by foot.

The hotel lies at a beautiful Karibik beach and has three pools. The hotel is actually not the newest, however everything is clean and also the staff gave themselves much trouble. The atmosphere of the hotel reflects definitely the feeling the Karibik again. Some reviews, the we prior to our arrival here, very put off. But really if you do not with the hotel match. If you like to new countries, new people and the English language a little dominated, has nothing negative to fear. The hotel has a very good standard, even if it wasn't like in Germany is ..., you can dreamlike days. read more

    The rooms are really large, there is an airco, a fan on the ceiling, English tv, balcony, coffee machine, safe, telephone, The cleanliness is good. The shower you have to get to know, before you speak, as you warm water get ;-) is however everything not a problem;-)

    The food is very good, without exceptions. Naturally there is no Schnitzel however therefor there are a lot of fish, meat, many vegetables, fruit... And much other good things;-) Evenings there are a selection of à la carte restaurant, three courses. Delicious! :-) But there is also buffet, for example on mondays there was always a caribbean buffet or on fridays a grill buffet instead of. Lunch is for example at the beach ( buffet) or in the restaurant. But there is also a small Italian snack in the hotel ( everything included), where you pasta or pizza can enjoy :-) Breakfast is also very good and rich ;-)

    The staff are mostly very friendly, exceptions there are everywhere. If you are friendly and polite ask, you get nice information. With German one comes here unfortunately not far, with English but already. If you in such a country to travel would like to, must give. However, it is the good old school English ;-) The rooms are massive and daily, the cleaning of the rooms. When something was missing, it will as quickly as possible fixed.

    The hotel's location is very central. If you bank has, to the supermarket or a few souvenirs want to buy anything, it has only a couple -minute walk from the saint lawrence GAP far. After oistins are by bus also only a few minutes. bridgtown is also very good with the public bus to reach. This costs only 2 barbadosdollar per ride. The hotel beach, as well as the neighboring beaches are really crazy nice. Who wants to and dare (left) should a rental car for at least a day. The signage although it is very bad, but with a map one finds all its objectives. As excursions the wildlife reserve, bathsheba, the bottom bay, oustins, Bridgetown and the crane beach. The flower forest us personally not really addressed. Otherwise you should definitely a catamaran drive along the west coast participate. Whose who want to with turtles swim, snorkeling and a wreck or to the beach swim. Bridgetown you can see, is however a little overpriced and as a tourist you will be constantly asked, whether one needed a taxi. There the island is very small, you can almost everything explore.

All together a beautiful hotel, however the bathrooms are being renovated. Front desk and waiter very helpful, if their mentality accepted. ( greeting at Cheryl of the omelet - Department) it isn't Europa, but with a bit of English you got along very well. There was even an official of the German spoke. Direct access to the beach with enough chairs. Beware of high waves;-) The 'catch of the day' fish dishes are delicious. The rum poonch is very recommendable... read more

never again. The hotel is getting old and practice urgently a renovation. Mold in the bathroom. We stayed in the block 2 used. The rooms smell musty and are very humid. The laundry is dank. the standard in the restaurants is British. The only what really tasted good is the fish. Everything other left a lot to be leftover. For the money I would recommend this never again book. English knowledge really important. the value for money fITS not at all. Way too expensive for what offered will. read more

We visit each year, the Caribbean, the small Antilles. In Barbados we are already for the third time and the third time in almond resort. We find this is precisely where the first-class atmosphere in a good location with outstanding price performance ratio, the a stay anytime again recommendable. read more

Almond Casuarina beach resort in which it is a all inclusive area. The rooms are on several blocks 267 in the extensive, very well maintained garden area distributed. The hotel is already getting old and could renovation upgrading. The stairways of blocks will not regularly swept. Heaped coffee was during our stay not swept. We are 7 days at the dried stain passed. On the ground floor someone has passed, this was only on the next day away. (You have to know, the cleaning Forces are the whole day on site.) the guests are within 85% British, 5% to ... about German, the rest Americans and Canadians. The Beginning December were many couples in the age group between 30 and 55 since. read more

    we had a standard room in block 3 with a view of the lush Tropical garden. Daily we had on foot in the third floor, because there is no elevator. Is no one in the US head public transport connections to and our room light was flowed through. The standard rooms are approximately 26 meters² large. Next our bed there is a filthy Sofa. Apart from that was the furnishing okay. We had to freeze only a few drawers, so that they remained. The closet is very large and includes the safe. We had air conditioning, Fan, TV, telephone, coffee machine and a beautiful large balcony with table and chairs. In the bathroom we had a bathtub. It fell especially on, that the complex already somewhat older is.

    The hotel has three restaurants and four bars, of which the front desk only open, where groups arrived are. The other bars are located in Enid's restaurant, by the pool and in the Calypso lounge and were well stocked. Especially the rum cocktails were delicious. evenings you have to reserve. I liked the Dover grill at the best. There was always a la carte, lunch. The selection of seafood is the largest. In Enid's Creole kitchen. There are behind coffee-Variations with much around the Enid's is a walk-in-restaurant. You don't have to reserve. It is recommended going early, so that we knew for sure get a seat. The main restaurant (Waves restaurant) was good, if a la carte menu. The buffets have promised not so. the breakfast it is in the main restaurant. I would have liked a bit more fruit desired, better cereal and tomatoes and gherkins. Apart from that everything was there. Only the juices were dreadful; way too sweet. at lunch there was additional at the beach a small buffet with salads and hamburgers. At the swimming pool for the children there was pizza and ice cream. The afternoon tea you could enjoy from 3:00 P. M. in the Calypso lounge. the food was always a Creole Touch and was in the quality of a all inclusiveHotel surprisingly good. men must evenings wear long trousers. Women must wear mega-short flimsy, but no shorts. Only if it buffet is, it is a bit more casual allowed.

    the staff in Casuarinas beach resort is friendly and hard-working, but often clumsy and overburdened. The staff at the front desk is half friendly, half not. We are greeted very unfriendly. foreign languages skills are not available; one speaks English. Some of them spoke a very strong accent and-even with good English-hard to understand. the cleaning staff is very friendly. But you should all 2 days it was a bit expensive, so that everything is done correctly. the crew at the main bar was always in a good mood and attentive.

Every evening a band in the Calypso lounge. the hotel also has a spa & Beauty center, the fact that I did not inspected still used have. the beach was fine sandy and clean, the water temperature pleasant. There are sufficient sun Loungers available and there are enough shade under the magnificent Casuarina-trees. Close to the pool bar there is a shower, to the salt water rinse off.

    the hotel lies the Dover beach on the south coast of the island. The Dover beach is a beautiful sandy beach. To the airport there are 8 kilometer, to the capital city of Bridgetown 6 kilometer. Just around the corner is St. Lawrence gap with other hotel complex, Pubs and restaurants and a small supermarket. Opportunities for excursions there are enough in the hotel and you can also on own fist Fort move; either with the taxi, bus or rental car. the ride with the taxi/bus costs BDS 2 (= 1 US Dollar) per distance. great hotel with very helpful and polite staff. The menu is class and features a rich breakfast buffet, on a lunch buffet at the beach with grill, on pizza, ice, tea and cakes and 3 restaurants, of which overall the Dover is highly recommended. In case you don't like fish, it is rather difficult, since only one of the four courts in each restaurant meat ( mainly Chicken) is. The rooms are 4 star hotel for a OK, but not with a four-star hotel here comparisons. The resort offers a towel-service, which top is. The hotel is about 20 minutes ... on foot in the center from the CAP, where there are some bars. Furthermore you are in about 10 minutes in oistins taxi, where the fish market there is always something going on. Right around the corner the Dover supermarket, where you can find everything, which one needs. Bridgetown is also in the surrounding area. Depending on the traffic between 20 and 40 minutes minutes. The beach is directly in front of the hotel and is really beautiful. You will always find a beach chair, also in the shade, but the birds eighth must, which sit in the trees, apart from that less beautiful surprises pre-programmed. Great Hotel, great beach, everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We couldn't complain afterwards about nothing. I have rarely seen such a clean beach. Our safe was broken, despite complaint was not repaired. This is the only drawback former. Great garden area, also here everything was super well-kept.     on the whole one could say, that the all of the staff in the hotel very friendly and is open. However you should be able to speak English, in order to communicate. The rooms on request daily cleaned and in the restaurant you are served quickly. Several Times daily there is a free shuttle bus the 2 sister hotels almond beach village almond beach club and. There you can also all all inclusive services and also the water sports available, offered there, as for example water skiing in the almond beach village. Other services we didn't use taken.

    The almond Casuarina is directly at one of the most beautiful beach sections Barbados. The beach was bright and the sea dreamlike turquoise. The hotel has a ideal Situation around on foot shop or evenings a few restaurants and bars to visit. It is also close to the hotel a stop. With bus number 11 is for very little money from almost every spot on the island. From the airport one drives about 10 minutes the hotel. We have a hotel of this quality have never experienced something like that. It was! The whole hotel is in a very worn condition, it is cleaned apparently as good as never. Both the rooms, as well as the public areas including pool was disgustingly dirty. The hotel staff were irritable; or whether the service at the front desk the had for us to do with vacation nothing! read more

We had a good time. Beach directly at the hotel, very spacious and beautifully. Bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Also for babies care, which was perfect for us. Waiters and other staff were always friendly and very accommodating (we were). Great also, that the other two almond resort could. Each day runs several times a free bus from hotel to hotel. We were ( unfortunately) only three days on Barbados and therefore a really good hotel at least after Catalogs German tour operator allow. In the category superior -room with Atlantic view really only on the 5th floor view of the ocean, because apart from that the palm trees and trees views moderate to strong restricted. The hotel taste of the English -with the result, the breakfast very English, the pool bar %BLANK% opening to closing of English besieged and we never seen so many tattoos on completely sonnenverbrandten people have seen. The beach is beautiful, however swing the waves quite ... high on. To stormy night was the beach not seaweeds exempt (in the Nachbarresorts very comfortable). The service is ( as usual) strongly depended on the person-from excellent to arrogant and annoying! Food and drinks corresponded to our expectations, even if it surely not first class standard in spite of the relatively high Katalogpreises of£ 200 Euro per person/ day. read more

The hotel area is very spacious with two to three pools and several restaurants to recommend the all! Freshly grilled fish and the beach was the highlight burger lunch! Unfortunately the sea is very fierce and you can not really swimming and snorkeling. Here I would make sure next time on it more. Otherwise we have felt very comfortable in the us almond casuarina. read more
