On my 3. stay i was surprised, that the rooms beautifully renovated. This is really well laid out and made up for the long paths meet high, stairs down. I liked it!
On the other hand was the restaurant quality, for the price was rather insufficient. %blank% during dinner, as even at breakfast i found the atmosphere not nice and the quality of the food was maximum average.
Conclusion: the loews Mercure is a city and bahnhofsnahes hotel, in the you without any problems for its business or city break trip to go can. read more

I stayed with my girlfriend a short trip after nünberg made. Room was spacious & super clean. Staff were absolutely competent and friendly, also the spa area great charming. The front desk employees gave us great advice, when we evenings into town went. This hotel is really recommendable! read more

If you consider, how difficult it today is, as family hotel and older stadthotel against impersonal chain hotel to say, then the löws Merkur a successful example for a positive development. We enjoyed the allstarday in Nuremberg good and we were in löws extremely in good hands. The rooms are well maintained, the way over stairs we found more exciting than hindering, the staff are very accommodating, the location next to main station is perfect. We will in any case like to come again! Only tiny peppercorn for breakfast may the existing forces a bit friendly with its trainees bypass. ... But here is criticism actually not to.
All together: a wonderful place, the medieval Nuremberg to explore. read more

In december is absolute high season, so is the friendliness of the staff particularly praiseworthy. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious. Our dinner was outstanding with the generous salatbüfetts. Only the pool we could not enjoy, it was just no time. read more

Location:
The hotel is directly located next to the nuremberg main station and is dementspreechend very easy to reach.
The room:
Very small and on arrival definitely too cold (nothing against good air, but at some point the window be closed again). The single bed would be in my opinion for persons about 1.80 meters not reasonable. The whole decor of the room (with exception of the tv) is very run-down and should urgently be replaced. Room was altogether clean.
The bathroom:
Welcome to the 70. years. The bathroom is certainly never renovated. Fom the tiles in the shower ... area were just 3 piece not cracked or bored. Furthermore was also only a shower hand towel provided. A small hnadtuch drying would be appropriate. The mandatory reiseduschgel not available. A radiator i could in the bathroom unfortunately not find. According to later information of the hoteliers is however a heating in the bathroom available (possibly behind a screen?).
Additional note to room and bathroom:
Apparently the hotel has also renovated room. I had then probably bad luck and had for a lot of money in the old part staying. The hotel management should consider, the guests, in the shabby room 'wohnen' untwined, a discount to grant.
Restaurant (only breakfast):
The selection of dishes was adequate. Unfortunately somewhat carelessly and confusing presented. On a coffee i had to wait for a very long time. Scrambled egg was cold. The rest, but delicious.
Friendliness/front desk:
The staff were friendly and eager to help; partly however quick overburdened.
In short:
Altogether the hotel makes a very shabby impression.
I have stayed for much less money clearly better hotels visited. The 4 star in the entrance area perhaps rather than christmas decoration to understand. read more

Friendly and very polite staff.
Optimal : central location the main station and a direct connection to the city center.
Parking is limited.
For the handicapped people could be a complex built house in my opinion lead to problems, as the aufzugskapazitäten tight. read more

Front desk very friendly, room bright and friendly, in top condition! The bathroom is large and modern! Breakfast very tasty and enough! Location right at the train station, located in the beautiful old town.

We arrived on 1st advent for christkindlmarket to Nuremberg. Already in march i voted for the loew's Merkur ringhotel decided, because of the positive reviews allocutions. Since we 7 people were, we booked two doubles and a triple room. To 5 hours ride, we only had to the south exit in direction to take, once the road cross and were already in the hotel. The ladies at the reception all were very pleasant and very friendly. There our rooms not finished yet were, one offered us immediately at our luggage in an area to make. We took the offer very ... gladly and spent the afternoon at the christmas market. Of al we evening back to the hotel came, was our luggage already in our room and a nice lady brought us there. The rooms were beautiful and all of us were really excited. Since i very often in hotels am, i can only say, i rarely had such a good mattress found as the loew's Merkur. Also the cushions were just great. The room was very clean, large flat-screen tv and a really great, very clean bath. Even if we in the annex were, we found our rooms definitely again. I will definitely recommend this hotel and again. Everything was correct and has simply fit. read more

Was this time the christmas market here. Although the building because of the christmas market was well used and the staff lots to do had, were all again very friendly and accommodating to me.
Had a nice, modern and quiet room facing the courtyard, so i despite being close to the train station wonderful slept in.
The breakfast buffet left nothing to the imagination.

We have together with friends over new year's eve booked this hotel and had a beautiful relaxing stay. The service the whole place is more than satisfactory. Everyone is hard-working and very friendly. We had the new year's eve menu and it was fantastic. The invitation of the hoteldirektors we are followed on the 4 floor a wonderful view over Nuremberg and the fireworks of the new year. Also to the musical untermalung of the boss the fireworks very good.

Now we were already for the 4. time the ringhotel loews Merkur in Nuremberg...! We never were in some way disappointed. On the contrary we have the staff's hospitality, as well as the rooms etc. Always in constant consistency and high quality found. Also the guests you can tell it to, that is in the hotel comfortable and satisfied feel...! It is as good as sure, if in Nuremberg, then lowes...!
