Hotel Crowne Plaza Chateau Lacombe^{(3 stars)}

We stayed passing through one night in Crowne Plaza. Had paid the point break, which the room not very expensive was, the regular price would have been but then annoyed. The hotel is located in the city centre with a view of the river. The hotel is in a high tower and already getting old, but seemed well maintained. The lobby made a good impression, the check in operation was quickly, however very sterile, impersonal, little friendly and accommodating, most of the information had to be requested (times, prices, restaurants, etc.). The room was with a king size bed ... and well maintained. The view was facing the river, but mostly in the direction a neighboring wohnhauskomplexes. In addition the fensterfugenverklebungen discolored black and did not clean. The bed was clean, good comfort level, unfortunately the hotel is noisy, elevators good factor and the ice machine is on the long term no really nice sound. Good was the business center, free in the price included internet access worked well. Unfortunately no upgrade to executive room, therefore no access to the club lounge. If favorable available recommended, otherwise there are nicer, better accommodation, with more amenities, comfort and ambience. read more
