Hotel zum Bären^{(3.5 stars)}

With a group of friends stayed here for a weekend in rudesheim. The front desk by the manager of the hotel was very pleasant. Relaxed, friendly and always up for a laugh. Not so stiff as often experienced in the past. Our room appeared to be quite new (Number 35) with a large LCD tv. Despite location to the street we slept very well (or it was the Riesling?). The bathroom is bright and spacious and equipped with everything. For breakfast there was a buffet with champagne and everything you would need. Very attentive breakfast service. We highly recommend the ... cable car to the monument. In the sunshine it is wonderful. read more

Without further ado we booked the hotel zum Bären to the rheinsteig hiking. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner and in the room. Us not happen often and we noticed positively. Our room was large and comfortable. Since it was on the street side we were by English guests, which stayed in a hotel across the street, once loudly awoken. Annoying, but not the hotel. The breakfast was for a three star hotel absolutely top-class. Large selection of sausage and cheese and even a Rheingauer Riesling sparkling wine was enough. The service was very attentive and friendly. ... The manager of the hotel gave us very good tips for the hiking trail. In the autumn, we will use the hotel for rheinsteig-tours. read more

A really well recommended hotel with a hotel owner, who every guest destination and the welfare of its guests. The hotel has recently been refurbished and convinced for example in the bathroom with a modern decor. Quiet, but centrally located Hotel in rudesheim (no noise from trains and ships or leisure activity options-visitors, train and ship noise otherwise in the Rhine Valley very strong!). The room was spacious and very clean. Friendly and very helpful management! We had booked '4-days-rheinsteig-package', extensive lunch costs. Friendly, personal atmosphere. Zweckmäßigd Furniture. Everything was very clean! We appreciated the tips off the beaten track from the owners very. The breakfast buffet is: fruit flies around the fruit salad. Champagne a good idea, but it should not be stale and dull. But other than that everything was delicious. read more

over the travel agent its búchten we had a new Year's Eve package in rudesheim. Three nights were included, dinner and a new Year's Eve on a boat, including five course menu and music. Briefly and scarcely: Hotel was great. Nice, very clean rooms and a great breakfast buffet with champagne and rollmöpsen for the hangover. The owner of the hotel did with us a kurzweilige hike to a monastery, and through the vineyards. We amused ourselves. Transportation to and from the hotel was one of the best in a long time! The food was despite the many guests and ... the band was a great atmosphere. At the new Year's day, we were offered a mulled wine-hike. It was the best mulled wine in a long time. Overall we were very pleased and can highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the summer for a few days hiking trail-hiking. read more

Hotel is located in the second row, not at the thruway. So quiet for sleeping. It is not far to Drosselgasse. Only negative is that there is no food in the hotel, only breakfast. That was more like just side. Parking (2 spots) must be reserved in advance, otherwise the public parking is about 3 minutes walk. Friendliness and service at the front desk is particularly good. Nice place Rudesheim watching or for a boat trip. For a longer stay we would rather search for another hotel. read more

We booked our vacation in hotel for new Year's Eve bear in rudesheim. The programme was a high point in a new Year's Eve-shipping on the Rhine costs. Our assessment in headings: hotel: very good. Large, modern rooms with an appealing bathroom Half board: very rich and delicious menu; friendly staff Shipping: great ship, great food, great atmosphere. The Hotel manager went with us hikes. These were very entertaining and not too strenuous. All in all a very beautiful turn of the year, which we highly recommend! read more

Very neat and clean Hotel. It is in the middle of the old town and is located in a very quiet area. Only the parking about problems. The hotel itself offers only four Hubgaragen at. The nearest and pay larger parking lot is way overpriced. Guest parking in metered parking, the parking almost everywhere, is only for two hours in the period from nine to 18 o'clock allowed. Other cities have this on their negative experiences with tourists with the reduction of parking meters. We stayed at the hotel during a bear trail/hike. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. We received excellent advice regarding our rheinsteig-stages. We were looking for a comfortable hotel with bicycle rental and offered all inclusive. The quickest way to our e-mail the hotel to bear (belongs to flair Hotel). Since the offer us assured, we booked. The outcome was very good. The Hotel lies relatively calmly in a small side street. The rooms are large and comfortable for a three-star hotel furnished (four stars would be a good idea to ask!). The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel's rental bikes (there are only 5-6 piece; in time order) have a 7 ... gear and very good and in our opinion well suited for this region. The Hotel manager seems a half wheel-professional to be (in the bicycle cellar plenty of documents of marathon) and maintained accordingly is the material. In addition we got excellent routes recommendations. One day we used, in order to hike the trail. The hotel is from the German hiking Association has been awarded. We were given excellent information about the hiking trail and it was a wonderful day thanks to the good advice. In the package was the dinner (half board) included. The fear, that the food is mediocre, has fortunately not confirmed. On the contrary: the food was varied, of excellent quality and very ample. The breakfast buffet is great for those looking for an active and high quality. It was altogether a successful short get away, we already have recommended a few friends! read more

Finally a hotel, which is also to cater to the needs of hikers interested! The hotel offers very large rooms with all required comfort. The breakfast buffet was great and we were able to put us a packed lunch from the buffet for free. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was excellent. The hotel is definitely recommendable. Have spontaneously over the homepage of the hotel booked a room. We were very pleasantly pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the size and the equipment of the room and the atmosphere of the hotel surprised. Although in the centre of the historical Old Town of rüdesheim convenient, we slept very quiet. That bothered us, we have only seen the last night the restaurant of the hotel we visited. The food and the price/performance ratio were in the four days by far the best in rudesheim. We liked the location very good. You can walk to everything important and ... may be car.
