We have a 3bedroom and got one with 2 double beds. It was sufficient large, but our two balconies together were bigger than the room ☺ Before the mirror for 3 women, it was also a little cramped. be careful! With us it had a connecting door to the neighboring room, which with the open turned out. The sleeping neighbor had a shock for life ☺ the room was clean and every day freshly made.

  • Gastronomy

We always ate in one of the two all inclusive buffet-style restaurant, which failed both somewhat noisy. on Morgenbüfett is nothing to complain about. Next to the as requested prepared mexican omelet, there were various sorts of bread, scrambled egg, Fruits, muesli and everything other what you can imagine. the dinner is rather South American and partly a little special for us Europeans. But what I tried, was good ☺ there is nothing for picky people, as never standard pasta or fries are offered.

  • Service

the staff in all departments (room service, restaurant, entertainment and front desk) were all friendly and the speeches. All showed good humor ☺ they all English knowledge, but much further can not speak it.

  • Sport & Entertainment

Very varied sports and games offered, the all age groups. Great love entertainers much humor and patience have. the whole day works great music, which you at the beach good overhead. the pool and beach are very nice. Everywhere Palms and the beach with white sand and turquoise blue clear sea with occasional fish. beach chairs are free of charge available. Directly at the hotel is the beach crowded. 20 meters farther right almost everything was empty.

To the airport it was about 15 minutes by car. the beach is really directly because of the hotel. some shops to find, must minutes 20 minutes be walked. But I would recommend taking the bus, and to the center (Stores, shopping malls, bars, clubs) to (CIRCA 50 cents / drive) there is lots of different excursions, but you will in the hotel good advice. We stayed at the Chichen Itza. -what great recommendable was. Our tour guide had at any ruin an exciting story the Mayas in stock.

When we arrived at this hotel the checking was very unorganized and had to wait along time. When we got to our room it was clean but not as clean as i would have liked and there was no balcony? maybe i should have looked into that a little bit more but we struggled to get our towls dry. Trips are amazing i loved the catamarange trips - the best for a tan. The rooms were avarage. very basic. the location was ok but couldnt walk anywhere really as the centre where everthing is is quiet a distance away but ... there is a public bus right outside the hotel which runs literally every 1m and they all go the same way (as theres only 1 way in cancun) and it is very very cheap about 15p and you can ask the bus driver to stop at a certain place and he will. There are mainly americans here and most people are aged 25+. pool was nice. although the swim in pool was was horrible it smelt and there was bees and wasps all over the place. Food was ok but repetetive. read more

right on beach which looks good in all the pics but has seaweed all over it. There is nothing near the hotel apart from more hotels and a nice little river across road. Best to catch bus to centre comes all the time and cheap. There are many places that do excursions and you can haggle with them. distance from airport to the hotel was great. There is a great irish bar in mall next to coco bongos which is amazing for food!

The hotel is situated near a small pear on one extreme of Cancun´s hotel island. It has a sandy beach close to a connection with the mangrove bay which causes quite some boat traffic. It has some seven stories and beyond 400 rooms and is currently being made bigger. It is clean, friendly with huge windows offering a nice view on the sea for those that do not look on the mangroves, i. e. road (!). It feels a bit strange not to have balconies nor windows that can be opened. Rooms are rather small, particulary bathrooms (humid!). Its AI ... food and restaurants are excellent. There is no playground for kids. The target public is a pleasant mix with no nationality imposing its bad habits of mass tourism on others: US citizens, Canadians, French, Spaniards. read more

The best thing about our sea view room was - the sea view. The worst thing was the noise that came in through the door - not just into our room. This hotel has a structural deficiency: Its corridors are amplifying the sound of people walking and - let´s not hide this - shouting. Due to the size of the hotel, some guests would not care about others and thus disturb them as their noise can wake you up literally at any moment of the night. This is also due to the fact that the rooms - at least the normal ones - are rather small and do not have only the one door at the entrance (which does not reach completely to the floor...). The bathroom is tiny and smelly - and the smell does not stay there. This may be due to the fact that the windows could not be opened. The cleanliness was very high, though. The strangest thing was the additional fee you would have been charged for a safe - it was so high that we decided not to take one. Not really all-inclusive, that one.

Mexican, Italian, Seafood and buffet style restaurants offered delicious food and good atmosphere. Coffee, as usual in Mexico, is black, but less than weak.

  • Service

The service was professional, the personnel seemed motivated and cheerful (with very few exceptions).

  • Sport & Entertainment

The best thing in this respect is the marvellous pool - nicely designed, plenty of space, flowers, sunbeds, pool bar, section for children. Clean beach towels every day. The worst about the sports is the shape of the sea in front of the beach. Due to the near-by pier and entry to the mangroves, the use of the sea for swimmers is limited (not too deep, only allowed until certain point), the water is not perfecty clean (sea grass etc.) - and it smells. There is no play area for kids, no reasonable mini-market. Internet is 20 US per hour - so start saving before you go there...

If you do not mind staying in a 100 per cent tourist ghetto (and most people going to Cancún know what to expect), the location is okay, provided you have a sea view room. We would not take one looking at the mangroves/noisy road. Public transport is easy to catch - and you will need it. Around the hotel, there is hardly space to go for a walk, let alone to leave the noise of the road behind. There is no reasonable shop around, only postcard type tourist traps. A heliport is just 70 meters away - and causing noise during day. The worst about the location is the shape of the sea in front of the beach. Due to the near-by pier and entry to the mangroves, the use of the sea for swimmers is limited (not too deep, only allowed until certain point), the water is not perfecty clean (sea grass etc.) - and it smells.
